Have only worn these shoes twice, since it got too cold to be sockless. Love the idea, the style, and the color, but they seem a bit short for my size 11 feet. I'm hoping I won't have issues with rub areas when I wear them more. Wish they made a size 12. I would suggest ordering up a half size.

I love everything about these shoes so much during the first five minutes I tried them on at home, until I started to feel the pain at the bottom of my foot when I stood still for another five minutes. I feel that the insole is too thin for me. I wish there was another shoe with everything that this shoe has plus a thicker insole.

I love the shoes but I did have to reorder for a bigger size. Compared to the Merrell sandals that I wear, this shoe is shorter. I wear a 6 in Merrell sandals, but had to get a 7 in this shoe.

I purchased these shoes to wear in a dance/exercise class where I needed to have a very free-feeling light shoe. I could personally use a little more arch support, but they truly are like being barefoot. I wear them when walking around town, and get lots of comments on their style!

My feet look much smaller in these lightweight, flexible shoes. Needed to order up a half size. Very roomy toe box.

I was very excited about getting this shoe but unfortunately one of the little bands that secure the tongue under the laces cuts into a bone on the top of my foot. The size 8's were a bit large (I usually wear 8's in all my running shoes and 7.5 in regular shoes) so I might try a half size down and see if the fit is better, but I'm not hopeful. They are otherwise very cute and comfortable.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and fit great. I had a minor defect with one shoe but Zappos excellent customer service shipped another pair out right away! I always buy my shoes from Zappos...they're the best.

I really like how light this shoe is but beware about how you train. Start off slow because I definitely hurt my foot running too far in these too soon.

I absolutley love these! They have made a huge difference in my running. I will not go back to traditional running shoes.

I'm normally a 7.5, with a longest second toe. Getting a 7.5 in this shoe just cramped my toe(s) to the point of curling it up. That's the reason I deducted a star on the overall. The 8 feels perfect though. This is my first experiment with barefoot style shoes. I just thought the toe shoes were too much for everyday wear. But these are super cute & super comfortable. I wear them at the office, gym, hiking and whatever. It is taking some adjustment for my muscles to learn to adapt to the extra work. When hiking there's a lot more foot movement & balance on my toes than you get in a typical hiking shoe. So I have been getting tired out faster. But the shoes have a very "sticky" sole that didn't slip even when descending in a surprise hail storm. You get a feel for the terrain in these shoes, but it doesn't hurt. When I'm on gravel I know I'm on gravel, but my foot doesn't feel stabbed or anything. I'm very satisfied with the shoe. They will get smelly though -- but I'm told you can wash them in a washing machine about once a week & air dry.

Not very exciting looks. Does fit like a glove. Very high and firm arch support. Just a bit short in my usual size. I need to size up.

I got these as a summer walking shoe. After my first walk I was disappointed because the shoe was rubbing and was uncomfortable. However, they've broken in well and I love how light yet supportive this shoe is.

I'm really enjoying these shoes. I prefer to wear them with think socks. I bought them for a 6 week Europe trip because they are light and crush down flat in my suitcase. I can run in them or hike or sightsee.

Love these shoes. They are super comfortable, but wish construction was a bit better. The trim edge of one of the tongues came un-stitched. Otherwise super-comfortable and considering getting a second pair.

Most other reviewers found this shoe ran small, but I had to order up a half size to accommodate my apparently weird toes. The shoe is well-built, is comfortable, has laces that stay laced, is very lightweight. Even though it's made for bare foot use, I sometimes wear socks and it works well with or without socks. I'm using them for walking and trying to decide if I want to start jogging in them. I already have low-profile running shoes, but this is definitely a barefoot shoe. Have to decide if my 50 year old frame will tolerate that.

Very nice, flexible sole, one of the best I've felt so far. Cool and comfortable with its mesh, and I like its solid (vs. elastic) shoelaces. But these shoes ran too small and narrow for my size 11 women's feet and will have to go back.

Be sure to check out Merrell's website about this product and how to properly train in them, they are not your ordinary shoe. I personally love their simplicity and quality, though they can be quite slick on some surfaces.

Although an oxford, there is a binding band across the bridge of the foot that limits how much you can let the laces out. The way it's made, you can't cut the band out. If you have a high arch or bridge of the foot, as the day goes on and your foot gets bigger in summer heat, the band will exert a bit of binding pressure. The half size up was too big overall, it should have been designed without the band. Otherwise, this shoe is a dream of comfort and very good looking to wear.

Really like this shoe! Almost everything hurts my feet, especially around the heel area, but these are great due to the elastic fit. No breaking-in necessary. Only slightly annoying thing is that if you wear these in a sandy area, the sand goes through the mesh. Sweat and sand make for an irritating combo. There is room for socks though, if needed. Hiked and biked around Zion for 3 days with no problem; soles are very grippy.

Order 1/2 size larger. looks too narrow when you take it out of the box, but fits fine. It is like a glove. Unfortunately, my feet need more protection from the surface than this provides. It is a lot like being barefoot. A wonderful feel for those with good healthy feet.

I got this shoe because my husband got a pair of these to replace the Vibrams that he returned because he couldn't get a size to fit and he liked them a lot. They're very comfortable but I would recommend increasing wearing time gradually. I ended up with some sore spots because I overdid it too soon. They tend to run a little small as other reviewers mentioned, so I ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. They're very normal looking and can be worn like any casual shoe, unlike the Vibrams which are a little scary looking. My only complaint with these shoes would be that the laces are attached to the tongue of the shoe making it pretty difficult to put on because it doesn't allow the shoe to open up very far. Otherwise, this is an excellent shoe.

When ordering these shoes order a full size larger and they do run small. Great fit and very comfy and good for walking all over.

These nifty little shoes are lightweight and comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box. Great for warmer weather. Bear in mind they have very little cushioning but definitely have more than Vibrams, which have none at all. As far as walking around on city streets, these are much more comfortable than the five-fingers as they do provide slightly more support and shock-absorption. If you're someone who is used to more cushioned shoes, walking with a heel-first strike, you will probably need to re-adjust your stride a bit in these shoes. This took a bit of getting used to for me, but overall I am happy with my Pace Gloves!

Very comfortable, snappy looking shoe, though for my needs. I need a lot of help with equilibrium, it is too light weight. Great walking shoe for those who need lightness.
