This was my first minimalist shoe and I really like it. My only complaint is that it is a little hard to slip on, because the inside is kind of rubbery, and I always wear them with socks. They are very well made, very cute, and a great beginner minimalist shoe. They definitely run a little small.

Very comfortable. Very light and cool. I am on my feet all day. These have saved my back, and my feet aren't sore at the end of the day.

Totally awesome! Love it. Did I say I love it? Grippy, comfortable, tackles it all. I ordered a half size larger than I usually do, and I'm glad for the extra room on steep downhills. I can't even come up with any down sides to this shoe. I suppose if you have weak ankles it might be a bummer, but I don't. Thanks Merrell!

Love this shoe! It was great for travel -- it packs easily, is lightweight, yet still provides arch support. Like many other reviewers, I have used it for walking rather than running. I usually wear an 8.5, but bought a 9 which works well. I can wear them barefoot or with a lightweight sock.

I'm an operating room RN and stand all day long. These shoes are awesome! They are so comfortable right out of the box. I'm planning on buying them in another color too!

I absolutely love this shoe. I can tell after only one week of use that it is improving the way that I move. I wear it at the gym on all types of cardio machines, and casually.

These shoes are really great for barefoot walking/running. I am not personally a runner but I am very athletic, and am interested in re-aligning my body. I love these shoes!

First, let me say I need to wear prescription orthotics with all my shoes, be they dressy shoes or my sneakers. I haven't been able to walk barefoot since I graduated from high school. These shoes are amazing. They have excellent support, my feet are extremely comfortable, and no orthotics! It is also helping me with some chronic lower back pain I've had. Let's just say I don't think I'm ever going to buy another brand of athletic shoe again. These are it.

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable, light-weight and look nice on my feet. I was looking for a shoe to bike, walk, and jog in, these work great for all. These shoes are so light-weight they are wonderful for travel. I wanted an shoe I could go to dinner in after a walk or a bike ride to a restaurant as I don't care for the tennis shoes and socks look, these are exactly what I was looking for. I have had several compliments on how they look, very unusual for people to comment on how an athletic shoe looks! Zappos customer service is awesome also, very helpful, was very impressed, had to to return the first pair as I felt they ran a bit small, I had a new pair the next day!

These are good sneakers for summer travel, walking around a city, etc. They are very light and comfortable. I normally take a size 7-7.5 in sneakers, but I had to order a size 8 in this shoe - they run small.

Love these shoes! This is my first time wearing a minimalist shoe and I'm hooked. I hike / (occasionally) jog 5 miles/ 5 days a week and these shoes have been great. I'm prone to knee pain, but have definitely felt a difference in my form. I suggest starting off slow if you are new to this type of shoe. It was a shock to feel how much more I workout my calf muscles with these. I bought the grey and yellow style and they look great.

Bought these after a good friend recommended them. I do CrossFit and these are the most comfortable work out shoes I've ever gotten and. They are great for not only running, but lifting as well.

I've tried size 8.5 in black and they were too small, went with 9. Than I've tried yellow/grey and 8.5 fits perfectly! I usually wear 8.5 (occasionally 8). So it is a bit confusing, since size 9 make my foot look a bit longer. Truly sporty look, they look the best with some shorts.

I've been wearing my barefoot now for several weeks, and I love them. My calves are looking great too! I am usually a very reliable size 10, but I had to return for a 10.5. I think if you have a long second toe, you need a half size up. The sizing seems geared towards people whose longest toe is their big toe. I also switched from the blue/gray to the tan/orange. I like the tan coloring better.

Love these shoes! I have been looking for a minimalist shoe and finally found the one for me. Having owned a pair of Vibram Five Fingers, which gave me blisters on the soles of my feet, I was hesitant to try another pair. The Barefoot Pace Glove are comfortable for everyday use as well as exercise without the blisters. I have received a lot of compliments about their look and am contemplating buying another pair.

Super light, super comfortable. The sizing seems to be right on, and so far they seem durable. I wear socks with mine (because I'm required to in the Army) and they still aren't too tight. Can't wait to try them at home without socks!

The Merrell barefoot pace glove indeed fits like a glove. Worn without socks, it has a completely smooth interior and a soft edging at the heel. I have had absolutely no problem with blisters or hot spots. I was interested in this shoe because of intense nerve pain in the balls of my feet from wearing running shoes. An article in the Chicago tribune suggested barefoot shoes as an option for resolving this problem. Since getting these shoes, I have taken care to gradually increase the amount of wear time, to give foot muscles a chance to adjust and strengthen. I can now wear the pace glove shoes for over an hour of totally comfortable workout, with no foot pain. This shoe has a thin Vibram layer of sole to help protect from stone bruising, which is effective. The other great thing about the shoes is how sleek and attractive they are. Total strangers have stopped me to ask what they are and where I got them. Zappos!

I ordered my size 8½ and they a bit too small so I went with a 9. I got the black, they are awesome look and very comfortable. Now I want to get yellow/grey pair. These provide nice arch support.

I love these shoes! I wanted to try a barefoot shoe, but the Five Fingers were too weird for me. These shoes are very light, flexible and so comfortable. The effect is a little strange - really feels like being barefoot, but with some protection and cushion against the elements -- stones, hot pavement, etc. I can really feel the difference in this compared to my usual shoes. I love how it feels! I'm 62 and very active. I have a wide foot, high arch, and narrow heel. The toe box is roomy and comfortable and the heel is secure. There is even a bit of arch support. I'm not sure I'd want to run very long in this shoe, but it's great for walking, working out, and wearing to work and around town. I bought the black, which goes with almost everything. (I also bought the Barefoot Pure Glove in black. Just as comfortable and totally cute. A dressier, ballet flat look, while the Pace Glove definitely looks more athletic. I want to get another pair of the Pure Glove in lavender.) It took a bit to get the size right. I usually wear 7.5 or 8 in Merrell's. The 7.5 was too small. The 8 felt fine, except the big toe of my larger foot kept hitting the end of the shoe. I ordered an 8.5 and it's fine. Thanks to Zappos for their patience and great exchange and free shipping policy! That's what keeps me coming back. Try this shoe -- it's great! Now I know why so many are raving about the barefoot shoes!

I wear an 8.5 normally, but a 9 in these fit me well, with a little bit of room to spare so my toes didn't hit the front. I have an average width foot, so these fit fine. The laces can expand or contract for either wide or narrow feet. These are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I have been running in Newtons for 2 years, and although I will still use them, these are a great addition to my running regimen. I have worn these on many runs, and they are fantastic. I can feel the road, including rocks, dirt, etc.; however, it is not so much that it is irritating. I wear thin socks with them and have had no smell problems whatsoever. These have a 0mm difference in height between the ball of your foot and the heel, so if you are looking for a slight rise, look to the New Balance minimus or something else. However, I love the 0mm rise, and I feel that this is much more accurate to what we feel if we are barefoot. I also lift weights a few times a week in these now, and things like squats and deadlifts are more fun and challenging with these on, as you really can engage your core to balance properly. The additional workout and additional strength in my feet, butt and core is a bonus! I highly recommend these. I have also used them for riding a hybrid bike and walking, and these are just as great (and stylish, no less) for those things, too. I have had many people ask me what they are because they think that they are cute casual shoes for running errands and things. You can wear these out (as opposed to VFFs) and not feel silly. They are great for everything!

I love, love, love these shoes. I couldn't get behind the separate toes of the Vibram Five Fingers. I've washed them once and they came out looking as good as new. I generally wear a 9 and ordered a 9.5, but the 9.5 is just almost too small. I definitely will be buying the Pure Gloves for summer sandal wear soon!

After having bilateral total knee replacements, I was hesitant to get a shoe that didn't have a fully padded sole, but they looked so comfortable, I gave it a try. This is the first shoe I have worn since the replacements that was not only super comfortable, but takes most of the shock off my knees. I still find it hard to believe. I guess posture means everything, and a shoe that makes you stand and walk natural is as close as you can get. Get these and you will love them! And, Merrell please come up with something similar for these cold Michigan winters!
