Really comfortable, requires no break in, even for running. Strange sizing, though -- runs somewhere between 1/2 and a whole size short. Had to return usual size 9 for 9 1/2's, and still cannot wear even a thin sock with them or they are too short. They have no arch support, but that's a good thing in a shoe that's designed to simulate going barefoot. My feet and lower legs have become noticeably stronger since I started wearing these. I use them both for low mileage trail running, and just everyday wear with shorts and jeans.

I absolutely love these! I ve the color, the fit, the feel. I purchased these specifically for a two week trip in Europe and was so pleased with how comfortable they felt the entire time. I especially appreciated the breathability of the mesh on my feet after a day of walking. Also, after an unexpected hike through sand dunes, I really appreciated how easy it was to clean out sand since I was not wearing socks. These are a stylish option for those who want the barefoot feel without the funny five toe look.

This is a great shoe. So comfortable right out of the box. They fit true to size...probably a little narrow, but that's perfect for me. They are really lightweight...very cute style. They are not only great for running, but hiking and biking as well. I wish I could afford to get a pair in every color!

Love these shoes. I just bought them this past weekend while looking for hiking shoes and decided to give these a shot since the tread looked up to the task for trails. It performed beautifully. I have a lot of room for my toes and a little extra arch support than regular running shoes or hiking shoes. I've been hiking for years and a day later feel a whole new group of muscles. My legs are sore like I did an extreme workout and I've done this trail 5 times over the last two months. I almost want to buy a back-up pair. I'm a 6.5 in running shoes and they fit just fine, which is normally .5 size larger than dress or walking shoes.

Love these shoes! Fits my arch perfectly. I now have 3 pair in case they stop making them. They were great when hiking and mountain climbing.

Bought 8.5 instead of my usual 9 and fits perfect. My endurance is much greater than it is with regular running shoes and I don't think I can live without them! Got caught in a downpour the other day and they were soaked - dried out perfectly overnight with no shrinkage whatsoever. Intended to go barefoot in them - even tried the first few times - but now wear a very thin, high performance sock to combat the smell. Probably a personal thing but I'm sure I'm not alone in that! Bought a pair for my 70 year old mother to walk in and she is hooked now too. Going to purchase the Contour Glove next and hopefully that will get me through a New Jersey winter. Merrell should consider Gore-Tex for women, too. A terrific shoe.

These shoes are seriously great. They feature the best use of the Vibram barefoot sole that I have seen. I think they do run a little small but once you find the right size they are so natural, and you do not get the rubbing between your toes like with the Five Fingers or at the heel like the New Balance version since these are so low profile. I have been wearing these to CrossFit for about a month and they do well for every activity: running, jumping, lifting, et cetera, and for any CrossFitters who wear inov8s but feel a little squeezed in, these are a little wider at the toe. I would be really tempted to stockpile these in every color if I had the cash.

These are great Shoes. It takes a few days to get used to them, but then you do not want to take them off. I ordered half a size larger than my normal size as they were a bit short. I use them for walking and some cross training.

Purchased for a trip during which I would be pretty active all-day walking, trips to the beach, hiking, and rafting. They did great in all the environments and dried overnight after the rafting trip. I like not having to wear socks and they look better without them. I wore them 10 days straight and they don't smell. I wouldn't say they're more comfortable than an athletic shoe with a padded sole, but they aren't uncomfortable. I was blister and pain free after every use.

I love these shoes! They are super comfortable and look good too. I get lots of compliments on them whenever I wear them. More importantly, I like walking in them. I haven't tried running yet, but they are a fun walking shoe as well.

These shoes are great - I bought them for walking around the city. Wanted something that looks a little nicer than normal athletic shoes. These are super cute and comfortable. I normally wear a size 8, but wear a size 8.5 in my running shoes - the size 8.5 in these shoes was perfect. I have a narrow foot; don't know if this would be a good shoe for someone with wide feet as they have a snug fit.

Very comfortable; great for travel; extremely light and easy to pack. Recommend.

First of all, Zappos is amazing! They shipped these things out with lightening speed! I got them 2 days after I ordered them! Wow! I love these shoes! I've been wearing Vibram Five Fingers, but can't get over how weird they look. Plus the toe spread thing was sort-of unnatural feeling to me. These Merrell's look much better and they feel a little more natural. They give you the same barefoot type feel with the protection your sole needs to avoid getting sliced up by rocks or pieces of glass. I wear them for every run. I ran 12 miles yesterday, and didn't get a single blister. Love 'em!

These are great shoes. They are my first barefoot shoe and I am a convert. I bought these for a European vacation/cruise, I wanted some comfortable shoes that could double as light workout shoes. These were fantastic. There was very little break in time. The only downside is that I am not sure how long lasting they will be.

I love these shoes. I've been wearing Vibram Five Fingers for about a year, and its nice to have an alternative barefoot shoe that looks a little less outrageous. These form nicely to my feet, have just enough extra space in the toe box, and the soles are thick enough to handle sticks, acorns, and the other things that are painful underfoot in my Vibram sprints.

These shoes are the most versatile shoes I have ever bought. I walked all over Europe as a tourist in these for three weeks, and never did I get a blister. They are also perfect for fore-food running. These have Vibram soles and I expect them to last forever.

These shoes have become my new favorite thing! I run a lot and got them specially for running after issues with foot pain started in my old running shoes. I am normally a 7, but ordered a 7½ after I read previous reviews. My second toe is longer than my big toe and overall I felt very comfortable and relaxed in the shoe. The toe box is very roomy so comfortable. After I got them, I took them out for a 3½ mile run. That was the best run I have had in a long time. There was no foot pain, back pain, or any other pain. They were just really comfortable! My only problem with them is that sand gets into them pretty easily which can be annoying for really long distances!

I love these! Had to go a half size bigger, but I've been living in them all summer. Have them in 2 colors.

I have always considered myself to have fairly wide feet, but these shoes leave too much room in the toe area. The length and width is fine, but there is extra space above my toes. They almost look like clown shoes to me, which is a deal breaker when you are already a size 10. Everything else about these shoes is fantastic, and I would highly recommend trying them on to see how they fit. They seem to be very comfortable and I have been extremely satisfied with the Merrell brand in the past.

These are excellent shoes. I use them for exercise and an occasional short run. I have wide flat feet that have improved considerably since wearing these shoes. They are also easy to wash!

If you have a narrow width foot, this shoe doesn't give you the "glove" feeling. Medium width is too baggy. I really wanted these to fit.

I love these shoes. They seem just a tad too short but I felt the next size up would be too big and we (the shoes and I) have adjusted to each other. I find them especially good for aerobic classes but also great for walking around town.

I love the fit. I didn't think a minimal, barefoot shoe could provide much support but they feel great.

I just got my Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove shoes and I absolutely love them. My feet are so tender, that usually it takes me a few weeks to break in new shoes. These are honestly the most like not wearing any shoes at all that I have ever felt. I cannot wait to try running in them; I have had knee problems and I think striking too hard with my heel has been the problem. These babies should help me run more naturally. This is an incredibly comfortable shoe. It fits true to size and no rubbing to speak of. This is my first barefoot running shoe and I love how light and easy it makes it to run. I've had them for about a month and no issues so far!
