Comfortable shoe! Love the natural feel and lightness. I use mine mostly in the gym and for zumba classes. The light padding in the ball of the foot is sufficient for my middle-aged knees. Ended up buying two pairs.

Great shoes...so cute. I love the low profile so they don't hurt my heels. The fastest shipping anywhere!

These shoes are very comfortable, like wearing slippers. However, after running in them several times (6+ miles), I've decided that running shoes (I've tried three other types) without any padding are not for me. However, these Merrell's are very nice to walk in, and I do notice that I walk more softly in them, which is the concept of barefoot shoes. The heels are especially nice, with some elastic there to make them conform to your ankle without being too structured. Can wear these shoes comfortably without socks.

I've received loads of compliments on these sleek-looking sneaks. They are very light and airy. I'm between a 9.5 and a 10, so they don't fit perfectly, but I still think they are awesome. They are so light that they help me run farther.

Absolutely wonderful. I hadn't practiced barefoot running before so they took some getting used to, but once my calves adjusted they turned out to be the perfect running shoe. I run on concrete and on grass trails, and both work great. They're lightweight, ventilated, and even stylish. In high humidity my feet get a little sweaty, but nothing to fret over. I definitely recommend them.

I love this shoe! I have been running for over 20 years, have done 10 marathons and more road races than I can count. I'm now a busy mom and just try to do about 15 miles a week. These shoes have gotten me really excited about running again. I was worried about Plantar Fasciitis, which I have had before, but no problems so far...I've been running with these for the past 6 weeks. Definitely a great buy!

I'm not a big runner, I just like the feeling of being barefoot and lightweight shoes so I gave these a try. I wear them often for everyday use in a dental office, they are washable which is fabulous. I love them and I even bought a pair for my son. I have gone jogging in them and liked them for that although it takes some getting used to running barefoot style. I had sore calves for a few days. Overall I would repurchase and probably will get another color. Oh, I did buy the barefoot Lithe and returned them - too narrow and long compared to the Pace - my feet are short and wide.

Love these shoes which fit perfectly (no socks) & are fantastic for running on the front of the foot without touching the heel down. I purchased these shoes after reading some serious reviews by long distance runners. I started running with these inside first, but moved outside to run on a rail trail. I feel some stone and gravel at times, but no discomfort. I have to tie the laces in a double knot so they don't come untied, but that was a minor problem with a fix. I wear a size 8. I have a narrow heel which the shoe does not rub, the arch feels wonderful, and although sometimes when I walk the my middle toes seem to touch, they feel fine when running & walking.

This is a lightweight, comfortable shoe that is good for the runner who is new to "barefoot" running. These shoes significantly change the way you run and you will really feel it in your ankles and calves when you first start with these. After getting used to them, they are very cute in the teal color and are a great all around training shoe too.

I love these shoes. Love! They are so comfortable that I want to wear them all the time. If you're using them for running, I would definitely recommend building up mileage slowly, because it's a different experience running in these versus traditional running shoes. But I'm never going back to traditional running shoes. These shoes are awesome.

I really love the look of these shoes. They are very stylish and have great ventilation. A barefoot shoe is very different from a standard tennis shoe, so it takes some time to adjust to the feel on the bottom of your feet.

These are fabulous! I do not run in these (I run in Asics) but, I have lower back pain when I do a lot of walking so I bought these for an overseas trip. I wore them sightseeing everywhere and my back was great! Based on other reviews, I bought a half size up and they fit great.

I use these shoes for running (3-15 miles) as well as going to the gym. I have a medium/wide square forefoot, narrow heels, and a very high instep and these fit my heels and forefoot snugly. My only issue with the fit is that because of the lacing system and my high instep, it takes some serious effort to actually get my feet into them. Once I do, though, they fit really well. These are designed to be worn barefoot, and I think this is where the sizing issues that some other reviewers have mentioned come into play. If you are going to wear them barefoot, order your normal size. If you plan to wear socks, even light ones, go half a size up. I've been wearing mine, in my normal size, without socks all summer and they fit perfectly. I plan to get a second pair that are half a size larger, to wear with socks for winter running. Overall, I love these shoes and would recommend them to those with similarly-shaped feet looking for a great minimalist shoe.

I've been running barefoot form for a year now, and was ready to move to a minimal shoe. This was a good next step for me, I've been carefully putting some miles on them, making sure to avoid overdoing and injury, and can definitely feel a difference from regular thick-soled running shoes. I'm working more muscles in my calves and feet, and feel like a stronger runner. They were a little tight/constricting at first, but now they're broken in and feel more comfortable. My toes have lots of room to wiggle around, but the midfoot and heel is snug enough that there's no slipping. Be careful on wet, slick surfaces though, despite the rugged-looking sole I nearly busted it while running in the rain on the brick sidewalks in my city. I'll be buying more Merrell Barefoot products, while also moving further down the minimalist line with some toe-shoes next!

Best shoe I've ever owned! Amazing everyday comfort: My new job had a 30 minute walk uphill to work, and my feet were killing me! After a month of everyday use, they are now my go-to shoe for work and exercise. I have a sedentary job, so I'm not in great shape, and these shoes feel so amazing that I've been more active than ever! I feel lighter on my feet, and have even started jogging downhill after work! They have enough padding to walk the city, and even enough to ride my bike with spiky pedals! And they are so breathable that I can feel the wind around my feet and toes when I bike. But because they are breathable, when it rains, it pours. Even if I think it's going to rain, I bring extra socks and a pair of flip flops with me to work, and they dry out by the end of the day, or just overnight! Great fit: I bought a .5 size larger than I usually do (normally a 6, bought 6.5). They fit literally like a glove! The arch sits close to my foot, but lets the foot move, instead of having arch pain from hard support. I said the shoes fit wider than marked, but that's a good thing for me. I can wiggle my toes around, adjust them with the laces, and they never lift off my heels because of the elastic backing! I wear them with padded, but breathable socks; larger padded socks are too tight of a fit, and they also do well with light weight socks. Style: I wanted a neutral shoe I could wear every day, everywhere. I chose the black, and I was concerned about the white stripes being too much, but they are more like a glimmery grey in person. They work with all clothes, they have a small enough profile on my feet that I even wear them with leggings! I believe women shouldn't have to suffer from fashion, and these shoes are the answer!

I'm not running in these, just using as a casual shoe. So far, I really like them. I've been wearing them without socks and they have never needed breaking in--comfortable from day 1.

These are some of the best shoes I have ever purchased! I bought them because they are so light and easy to carry so that I could backpack through Europe. I spent two weeks in these shoes and did not even wear socks most of the time. These are a great buy!

I really like this shoe. I did buy a half size larger based on previous reviews and that worked. The toe box is a bit wider than other shoes, and that took a little getting used to. I did not have any problems adjusting to the barefoot shoe, but I spend a lot of time in bare feet (yoga teacher). very comfy, extremely lightweight- great for travel.

Great shoe! Just like all the raving reviews, this shoe is light, super comfortable and ready right out of the box. I am usually a 6.5 and I had thought that I would need a half a size larger. But I ended up returning the 7 and still going with the 6.5. These shoes are meant to be worn barefoot, so I think its felt true to size.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I can walk in them for several miles. I don't like to wear socks with them and my feet don't seem to get too sticky or hot. I usually wear either a 7.5 or 8. I ordered the 8 and it was perfect.
