I am very happy with this shoes. It is so lightweight and comfortable. I have a bunion on one foot and this has plenty of room across the all of the foot and is flexible to boot. I have gotten lots of comments and questions about them. I wear them for daily wear, not a runner.

I cannot say enough about the Trail Glove as a minimalist shoe. They're stylish and true to the barefoot style, as opposed to more popular brands who trail to pass off their shoes as a true barefoot experience. As an owner of Vibram Five Fingers who's hesitant to wear them outside heavy barbell floor lifts in the comfort of my gym, these are a great shoe that can be worn daily.

Great shoe! I wear a 10, but a 9.5 fit me. Looks great and cradles my heel and arch while letting my toes spread and roam. However, the big toe box does, at first glance, make them look like little clown shoes. Extremely comfortable and the upper feels like it molds to my foot. No break-in period needed. The upper is mesh and makes the shoe incredibly lightweight. Unfortunately, I'm afraid the mesh upper disqualifies this shoe for being worn in the wet and cool SF area. Will return in favor of the Sonic Gloves.

I love these shoes! I don't run in them (I prefer Saucony Kinvara), but I wear them everywhere else. Fantastic, and a replacement for the old New Balance 790 (shame on New Balance for killing that shoe!). Love it!

Amazing shoe! I've been looking for this shoe for years without knowing what it was. Fantastic for everyday wear and especially exercise. (It should be noted that I like walking around barefoot anyway so someone used to a bulky/normal shoe might need to get used to this minimal shoe.) The first time I wore them I ran for an an hour and a half straight without break. I've never done that. The design of the shoe not only supported my foot but naturally corrected my stride and I began running more efficiently than I ever walked. My day to day walking stride has even changed, even when I don't wear them. The breathable upper mesh keeps feet cool (really though, you can feel the air move in as you move your foot; unlike other "keeps feet cool" gimmicks on other shoes) and the deconstructed/minimal design provides a connected feel to the terrain. I loved jogging in my Vibram Five Fingers but wanted a bit more padding/support on rough ground. Whether on grass, pavement, trail, or treadmill these shoes are amazing. Mine are still new but I will be ordering another pair just to make sure I have another in the future. Love these shoes.

Super awesome. You definitely have to be an occasional barefoot walker (at home or outside) and have strong ankles to work out in these. The ankles, knees and legs take a bit to acclimate to the lack of support and the way your gait will change. Once that happens you will feel more in touch with the ground and your body and more agile! Take it slow so you don't get hurt. But gradually they will fell good and take you to the next level in fitness.

I needed shoes for Tai Chi class and couldn't find any in my size (15). I decided to check out the barefoot shoes and they have been a real revelation. I have bought another pair of Merrells and I intend to wear them all the time. I have come to realize that there is too much arch support in most shoes (I was a New Balance person). My balance is so much better. I have used them on a rocky trail and they are fine. They are washable which is a plus since they don't allow much room for socks. I will have to figure out what I will do in winter. I would also suggest that barefoot shoes may not be good for everyone, but they are great for me. I am 61.

Great shoe, especially for those interested in the barefoot revolution. They are very durable, I've been wearing them non-stop through workouts and daily use for over a month now, and they are solid. They don't have arch support because they are barefoot shoes!

These shoes are great for anyone looking for a barefoot running shoe and doesn't want to get funny looks from wearing 5 finger shoes. The are snug around the foot and have a large/roomy toe box.

I was against these at first. Price seemed high for something so lightweight and what seemed flimsy. I decided to try on a pair and had to admit, I loved how they felt on my feet. I decided to buy them with the mindset that I'd be sending these back. Here I am two days later and they've become my favorite shoe. They are now my running shoe, hiking shoe, water shoe and have replaced my sandals. So extremely comfortable. I wore them on a somewhat rocky hike today and they did great. I hardly ever wear shoes without socks but these are great without socks. Not meant to just stand around on sharp pointy rocks but when quickly walking over rocks or tree roots, they do just fine and the Vibram sole gives excellent traction. You can run, hike, canyoneer, kayak, and use at a water park. My new favorite shoes. I've already asked my wife for another pair for my birthday coming up in a couple of months. Great work!

Wonderful to be able to experience the full functioning of your feet while they are protected. Because the shoe is so flexible, how they fit is very sensitive to how you tighten the laces. It took a little experimenting, but they are wonderful. I don't recommend them for walking around all day on concrete. I prefer Skechers Shape-Ups for that.

This is a great minimalist shoe, it holds up very well considering how thin the sole is. Much better than the Vivobarefoot I previously used.

I was debating on buying the Vibram Fivefingers until I found out about these. With the Vibrams you do feel a little more connected to the ground, but with these I don't get any funny looks from anyone. I love 'em! I go to the gym, occasionally sprint, and even sometimes wear them out casually.

Great barefoot shoe. Felt excellent on my foot right out of the box. No socks necessary here, and the anti-microbial layer inside keeps them from getting stinky, even after all-day wear. Highly recommend these shoes!

These are great barefoot shoes. They feel wonderful on your feet, they are nice looking and they seem really durable. Bottom line, these shoes are worth the money and you will be happy that you bought them.

Surprised me. I really like these shoes. Zappos knows I returned a ton before finding these. If you're looking for a good trail, walking, go to the gym and I can wear these anywhere shoe, try these. No geek factor.

These shoes are awesome. I love them. Its feels like I’m running barefoot and they fit my foot so well and are lighter than any shoe I've ever had. They do run small, though, by a full half size.

I have two pair of these Merrell Barefoot Trail Gloves and just love them. I took them on vacation and used them for all purposes. The black/granite color particularly just fades into the background and looks appropriate across a variety of uses. The shoes fit snugly but give a lot of room in the toe box for all but the widest feet. Of course you have to get accustomed to how these shoes fit and the different way they make you walk. But once you become comfortably in them, you'll have a hard time using any other shoe. They are made for barefoot use, as the name implies. If you intend to wear socks, you'll probably need to buy a larger size than marked.

I run in these shoes 4-5 times a week - absolutely love them. Just ran a 5K with times faster than when I ran in high school. These have really changed my life - amazing! Definitely start running slowly and get your feet used to them, then enjoy!

Feel amazing to run in. However, remember to adapt to a new running style before wearing. Probably the best shoes I've ever put on.

I had two pairs of Five Fingers, which I liked. Although, even after I had broken them in for a few months, they still gave me blisters if I walked or ran for any distance over a mile. I decided to try the Merrell Trail Glove to see if they worked better for me. The first time I wore them, they felt odd, but my feet quickly got used to them. Now I cannot wear any other shoes. They are incredibly comfortable. I wear them at work, to work out in, and to run in. My feet feel great in them. I am now in the process of getting rid of most of my other shoes and replacing them with more of these. I also like that most of the styles come in many different colors. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for an excellent running/athletic shoe.

After several weeks of regular use I would say this shoe has met my expectations. I am very pleased. I did a fair amount of research when deciding on a 'minimal' shoe and this shoe was generally well reviewed on a variety of web sites. I primarily wear the shoe for crossfit workouts which include weight lifting, gymnastics and running. I have experienced some significant soreness in my calves and Achilles tendon areas after running and jumping in this shoe but I think that would be the case with any 'minimal' style shoe.

Amazing shoes that I do not want to take off. I have flat feet and usually have to buy an 11 to fit properly without going to wider widths. The 10.5 fits perfectly and is ridiculously comfortable.
