Total letdown with this pair of shoes, the sizing is WAY off. I ordered a full size below my standard size and still had a solid inch of free room. Who decided on their sizing? After returning two pairs I gave up.

A few years ago my friend told me to try on his Merrells. I am now up to about six pairs. I wikl not even consider anything else at this point. When I purchased these Merrell Barefoot Trail Gloves I was psyched. I have been recovering from a hip replacement in February, and I was looking for my first pair of lace up shoes in years. After reading up on these it was a no brainer. I got them home, started walking and it was wonderful. Now it is like they are getting smaller every day. Today I decided that I cannot wear them anymore. The Aegis antimicrobial solution is not. At all. I have not had a good stinkfoot since college, and I found myself having to wash these after almost every weekend. This only happens with these shoes. These have not changed my feeling about the company, but I do hope they are not starting to let the quality slip a little.

All the reviews seem to be positive but I have a less than positive experience. After one mile of running I developed severe blisters on the heal. The toe box is not as roomy as expected. I have been a runner for over 47 years and this shoe is less tan the hype. My 36 year old Pumas run circles around this shoe and the materials breathe. A bad selection on my part.
