Just bought the waterproof Moabs and so far so good. I like the fit and also the styling. Got the "Wides" and they are perfect. (I wear an orthotic and both shoes fit perfectly.) Only drawback is the color, but I can live with it. (Ordered "bark brown" but they are actually grey. Even this shoe in stores is grey. So I don't think it was a bad dye lot.) Overall, I'm happy with the shoes but not so much with the color.

The Merrell last just fits my foot perfectly. This one runs small. I wear a 14 or 13 in some other shoes and I need a 15 in Merrell. It's very comfortable and wears well. I can rebuild the heel area as it wears down as the uppers last a long time.

Love, love, love this shoe! Bought my first pair of low cut style, after being so pleased with my experience hiking the Sierras with the mid-high boots. Decided to switch after 10+ years wearing New Balance 626's as my everyday shoe. Always found they got "fatigued" after about six months. I wore this pair of Merrell's for two years and four months! (Okay, probably a little too long the heel strike was worn down enough that it affected my comfort eventually.) Just received my order of the Moab Ventilator a couple of days ago, and they feel just as comfortable as the Moab Waterproofs did.

This is my first pair of Merrell shoes .I was a sneaker man from new balance. I have a large foot 13 and also wide with a foot insert ,so finding shoes to fit is difficult at the least. Out of the box they fit great, the width is good and the size fits good, no extra size needed. I feel great and look good also. A good shoe for a good price, and more important they feel good and my feet don't hurt. Good bye new alliance and hello Merrell.

Ordered this Merrell shoe for my husband. He has worn this same model shoe for years -- He is extremely happy with this shoe and will reorder it again.

The Merrell Moab are great shoes. Good traction and excellent fit and support. Had them 3 weeks now and wear them every day. Feet feel great from morning to night. No real break in period which was a great surprise. Have gotten lots of good compliments on their look.

Very comfortable. Size was right on. Big fan of Merrell's. I deliver daily and I'm out in the weather 80% of the day. These shoes are super comfy and keep your feet warm and dry. They look nice and so far they are holding up great.

As with most shoes, they were pretty stiff out of the box BUT it only took a few hours before they soften up a bit. Been wearing them about a week now and they are very comfortable. I do feel they run s half size small so when ordering go up 1/2 size.

I owned these for a few years, comfortable now but there was a break-in period; I made the mistake of hiking in Thailand with them about 5 miles right out of the box and it was a mistake. All broken in now, I love them as much as I did the now discontinued North Face Vindicators I previously wore. They still look great too, I'm rough on shoes and these still look fantastic and are holding up just fine.

Very Happy with these, my second pair of Merrell Moab's. The first pair was amazing, comfortable and lasted a full year. I decided to go with these this time as the waterproofing intrigued me. Off the bat I love them, my only Criticism is they won't breathe as much as the non waterproof; however, that's to be expected.

Best fitting tennis shoes I ever owned. Don't care how many hours I am on my feet these shoes NEVER disappoint. The fit is spot on and they're hands down like wearing a great pair of slippers!

These shoes are great! Very durable! They take a little while to get broke in but once they do they are really comfortable.

Husband wore these for one full week of hiking through Yellowstone and Tetons. Used on hills, streams, tons of rocky yet flat trails. Comfortable and functional. Size 15, true to size. Great light hiker; took one day to "break in." These are not as "light" or "barefoot" as his Merrell sneaker; once I adjusted his expectations he was thoroughly pleased. Wore with Field & Stream compression socks, basic White Hanes cotton socks. We did pull the liners out each nice to dry out, just as we would with any hiking shoe. Great lug depth, great out of box, not super stylish but comfort is tantamount here. He's partial to Merrells while Salomons are dear to my heart. I see complaints of laces; I think many companies are cutting back on these. My new Salomons had cheap-o laces. $5-10 for nice laces; I don't mind the added cost as it's very easy to change out laces. I don't mind skimping on laces as they're easily replaceable.

I don't normally take the time to write a review because life can be so busy. However, it's important for consumers to share information with each other so that we can all spend our hard earned money more wisely. I bought these and I am not disappointed. The color was different than the box and the picture, but I liked them anyway. As others have stated they are warm so they are not for the summer. The Merrell name means quality. The price was average but again the quality is just superior to others on the market. As for Zappos, well...they have again been great on shipping my products. Yes, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Merrells.

My feet are of average shape/size. Perhaps due to the extra padding, the front half of the M-width shoe felt tight. The W-width felt roomy to the point of boxy. I had to go a half-size up (M-width), which was perfect. A little stiff at first, but immediately comfortable. Style-wise, hiking shoes have the ugliest designs. But this design isn't bad.

These were a gift to my son. He had started a new job, was on his feet all day, and his feet were sore, bruised, and blistered. I looked at a number of shoes before deciding these would be best and he's been in heaven ever since. His toes have room to wiggle, his feet are cushioned, and the fit is perfect. Both of us are delighted.

This is the third pair of this Merrell shoe I have bought for my teenage son in three years. He has worn the previous two pairs every single day for a year before I replaced them. These shoes are incredibly durable and really do keep out water. We live in a four-season climate and get our fair share of snowfall. My son refuses to wear any other pair of shoes, outside of required gym shoes. The only minor issue I have with them is that they are not especially stylish. Rather, they are a bit clunky-looking. My son could care less, though. I only hope they keep making this exact shoe for a few years longer.

Bought these for my son and they were comfortable for his feet. He went light hiking in them and they continued to be comfortable and caused no blisters, etc. Fairly lightweight.

These shoes are terrific. We had seen them elsewhere, but they didn't have the size so I got the name and # and called Zappos and as always they were here in two days. Great service, great company. Buy from them frequently. I do all the buying, so I bought these for my husband.

I purchased these shoes for my husband who works outside and needed a waterproof shoe. They run small, so be sure to order a half size up. They are the first shoe that have kept by husband's feet dry, so I highly recommend these. He also loves how comfortable and light weight they are. Great shoe!

Purchased in March 2015 - needed to replace an old pair that were worn out. Was looking for low height boot for everyday use. These are very comfortable with a nice feel to the boot - use for day hikes with my lab. No problems with the boot - good construction, waterproof works well during wet hikes. I have another pair of Merrell's (mid-height) for more extensive hikes through the woods. So far these boots are holding up well.

This is my second pair of Moabs. I own both colors now and they are beyond comfortable. They go well with jeans whenever I am not climbing the North Face. Will always keep these as standard wardrobe attire.

I bought these knowing that I had multiple hiking trips coming up and wanted to have quality shoes to wear in different environments - rocky, sandy, water, etc. These fit the bill perfectly. The fit is just slightly tight, but not enough to call out in a rating. They are snug. That works really well in sandy areas. I hiked Arches and Capitol Reef National Parks the last couple of weeks and walked away without a grain of sand from many different sandy trails, even when everybody else was emptying piles of sand from their shoes. These shoes are well built and took a beating from some fairly challenging hikes. I did not get a chance to test the waterproof feature, so can only assume they are adequate. They do not breathe especially well, but that is pretty typical of waterproof shoes. They are not horrible, either. I would recommend these to anybody looking for solid hiking shoes that look good and are very comfortable.

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are a comfortable walking shoe that I can wear everyday, doing whatever. They're not too hot. And they're especially comfortable for me in the wide that was available. It is the first shoe, however, I've ever had to order a half size larger as I've been a size 10 exactly for 30 years.
