Bought these for my husband, he didn't like them as well as the last pair I got him. Had to return

My heel kept slipping out...might as well have been no heel. And, they are very rough inside, new materials.

I'm returning this because the shoe has virtually no support for the back of the foot. The picture is unintentionally deceptive; The back of the shoe supports the heel scarcely better than a well fitting sandal. I need a fully formed shoe that will not drop away from my heel when I walk.

My husband has been wearing a previous version of Merrell's 'Encore' slip-ons since Christmas 2015--They have been worn daily around the house/yard, are comfortable, and they have held up amazingly well. Happily, these Merrell 'Encore Bypass' slip-ons are a great replacement to his faves, now designed with durable fabric material rather than leather. When ordering these as a gift, I was concerned that he would not like this new style as much, but he loves these new Encore Bypass shoes! His first comment was how much lighter they are than the leather ones he had been wearing for years, and he also likes the sporty look of the materials. He has been wearing them daily since Christmas, indoors and out on short dog walks in wet and dry weather. So far they still look great, looks like they will hold up well just as his previous ones did!

This is my fourth pair of Encore Bypass shoes. I normally wear a U.S. size 10, however for this shoe it is 9.5. These are my most comfortable shoes.

These shoes are amazing! This is the second pair I have bought of the same shoe and they last forever!!! My last pair lasted 5+years and all I needed to do was replace the insoles every year due to the weird shape of my feet. I work for a doctors office and am on my feet 6+hours per day and I wear these everyday. Highly recommend!

These fit perfectly and are very comfortable to wear and walk around in. I love just being able to put my feet in and go when the dog needs a walk. Exactly as described and pictured

II use these as indoor/outdoor slippers. This is my second pair. I love the support.

ordered 9.5 had to return to large got size 9 was concerned about width being medium as i usually take 8.5 4E but they fit perfect very comfortable foot slides right in and out stays on while walking just what I needed

My husband wears 11 4EEEE. Just ordered the 3rd pair and are down to 10 M .. Still doesn't work for him. Don't know if it is the shoe or him. Very nice looking shoes.

these slippers are super comfortable.

I bought these for my husband to replace an old, worn out pair of L L Bean slip ons. He tried them on and immediately threw away his old shoes. He said the Merrell's are very comfortable and he enjoys the ease of slip on, slip off. He has a narrow foot and the fit was perfect with a pair of quarter socks. Guess he'll be getting a leather pair come autumn/winter!

A little large as other reviewers noted, I have a narrow heal so they slip a bit, but as I am just wearing them in the house with a thicker insole its all good.

Love these...my slip on go anywhere shoes.

These have become my new favorite mules. Not for long walks, but perfect for going to the mailbox, or letting the dog out, or walking on cold tile floors in the morning. Very nice and breathable, too.

This is the only shoe I wear, unless there is snow or ice. Great comfort shoe. Just continue to buy one pair after the other! Not bad in price, light weight!

My husband loves these shoes and has worn them for years. The current pair has not yet arrived but I am sure they will be the same. My husband is a big man with arthritis and does not want to bother with assistive devices to help get his shoes on. These slide right on without assistance and they stay on until he takes them off.

I was looking for a easy on shoe to wear during the summer months, especially for taking our dog out for morning and afternoon walks. I was looking for something that offered good traction as well since we live in Colorado near the mountains. Now these are NOT hiking shoes, just ones that will offer some traction in different terrain when encountered. It would have been a plus had their been a waterproof component, but I knew there was none when I purchased them. For when the weather is wet I use the Merrell Shiver Moc 2 Waterproof. So if you are looking for something easy to slip on, and give you comfort in warm dry weather these fit the bill.

I bought these for my husband who always takes his shoes off before entering the house. Luckily for me they were a perfect fit and he liked them. He hates to get new shoes and absolutely ruins his shoes (as he is a builder,) before agreeing to replace them. The convenience of slipping them on is the main attraction
