You know, I love Merrell shoes and Clogs. I’ve never had a pair of Merrell clogs. I bought the Encore. I did not like them. The small heel’s back height felt weird; never got used to it. I could feel it all the time I walked. I tried a smaller size but then my toe hit the front - that's a no-no. I love clogs that are open at the heel. I guess I am going back, at least in clogs, to Noat. However, running and other styles of the Merrell shoes are great. I ought to know - I worked for WWW, the company that owns Merrell, and have six different styles and colors.

Shoes are as advertised. I replaced the OE foot bed with a non-costumed orthotic. Found the shoe comfortable for short walks only - on long walks because of slippage due to the clog style, the shoes were trieing. Buy only for casual use only.

Been wearing Merrell for 5 years...same size. These are too big and are being returned. Why tamper with a good thing?

These look great and would be comfortable. They were a bit large though.

Best purchase I have made in a long time. Diabetic neuropathy pain is virtually non-existent while wearing them, and leg pain I have had while wearing other shoes is non-existent. Recommended by my podiatrist.

Brilliant for around the house

I have bone spurs on my heels that prevent me from wearing any shoes that come up over my heel. Tennis shoes, boots, dress shoes... they are all out. These shoes are PERFECT. The mesh gives some breathability, but is also warm enough to be worn year round. The removable foot bed is easy to wash and maintain. The construction of the shoe is top notch. The support inside is perfect, the soles are fantastic, and I have been wearing these almost daily for almost a year. They ROCK. I even brought them to Burning Man, where they let my feet breathe, let the dust out, and kept my feet safe from PlayaFoot! Great shoes. Period.

These are very convenient and comfortable shoes (if "shoe" is the right word to describe it) for casual wear. My only problem (which was dealt with magnificently by your sales staff) was that I started with an order for size 14, then went to 13, then to 12, which is a perfect fit. In most athletic shoes, street shoes, etc. size 14 is correct for me.

Shoes were delivered faster than expected. Fit was fine. Could not purchase this model at a store and thus turned to Zappos which offered a return if the shoes do not fit. Very good information on the site. Very good service. Would use Zappos again.

The product I purchased is great. I'm very happy. What is more satisfying is the customer service. I had ordered from Herrington. They sent the wrong item, then said they didn't have any, then after I had found them on zappos.com, called and said they did. I refused. Zappos.com even shipped to a location that we would be at on vacation. I'll buy again and again. Kudos to Zappos!

This was my first purchase from Zappos and it was a wonderful experience. I was very impressed with the customer service department. So many companies today don't know what customer service is much less have a department and only a very few great companies have a wonderful department.

I have purchased Merrell shoes before and wore them for lounging. I injured my big toe on my right foot and these shoes were the only type I could wear without lots of pain. I was able to place my orthotics in them and the comfort was great and I walk 5-6 miles per day. For poor weather and heavy duty I usually wear Spira shoes.

Love Merrells - purchased these to replace a pair I had literally worn a hole in - Zappos is my go-to shoe store!

These are so comfortable, they breath well and look great. I put them on and went to the store, wearing them with no socks, and I could feel the wind blowing into them ever so gently. Great shoe by Merrell but as other suggested and I followed...get a half size smaller then your actual shoe size.

If you want an extremely comfortable pair of shoes, buy these! Fit true to size, so comfortable you forget they're on your feet!

Have worn this kind of Merrell shoe for ages - comfortable and easy to slip on. The newer one with dorsal slit makes it even easier to slip on and more comfortable to wear. Color is perfect for brown, jeans, black pants. Wasn't sure of the size -- Zappos sent two pair -- really easy to return the one that didn't fit.

Merrell has excellent casual shoes for men. I won a number of their shoes. I have a small, fat foot and usually take a wide shoe. Had initially bought a 1/2 size up as they don't have a wide just medium. The shoe was too big and returned for credit and ordered the correct size. Nice casual slip on; Highly recommend! As always, super service from Zappos!

I bought them for my husband and I love the way they look and he loves the way they feel. I also ordered the black ones. They look even better.

Bought these for my husband to replace other Merrells that he had and had just about worn out! Merrells fit great, good support, lightweight, cool, but you can also wear socks in cold weather, they don't slip on wet surfaces--just perfect for travel (easy to slip off at the airport) and for running around. I have them, too! In many colors!

This is a very comfortable shoe that is easy to slip on. Goes with shorts, jeans, anything casual.

These shoes are the best. I bought them for my husband because I have 5 pair myself. They are the only pair of shoes I take on any trip...California, New York City, Paris, Rome. They are comfortable everywhere. So my husband decided he wanted to wear/take only one pair too. Wow, travel and walking is good.

I really love these shoes. I will probably buy another pair since I seem to wear these more than any other shoe. I also have them in black.

Cool and Roomy A little too roomy. Had to downsize to keep on my feet. Could wear heavy socks but that seems to defeat the purpose of the open weave top.

As previous reviewers have stated, these shoes definitely run a half to a whole size larger than what I normally wear (8 to 8.5). The 7.5 was actually a little large but I feel the 7 might be too tight so I am going to stick with them. Nonetheless, they are light and very comfortable. Great slip on shoes.
