I have a really hard time finding shoes for my size 5W feet. So I order online hoping they'll fit. No way these are wide boots. They're going back

Theses boots are wonderful! They are very comfortable, whether wearing for a short time or a day.

Very cute, and reasonably comfortable after the addition of orthotics, but I have a feeling they will wear out/break down quickly. The materials seem thin and light, not as beefy as a boot should be. But I suppose they are acceptable for the $90 price point, as after all they are a fashion item, not a $300 paddock boot. I am satisfied with them.

These are my favorite boots. I bought some a few years back and wore them until they fell apart. When it was time to replace them, I thought I could possibly find a cheaper replacement (when I had purchased them years ago they were more expensive)... why even bother? I can’t find any other boots that fit me as well as Steve Madden. These boots require no breaking in. They are stylish and comfortable. I often wear them to work (I’m a bartender, on my feet all night) they are great quality and last me a few years. Very happy with Steve Madden boots.

Meh, the material was stiff and felt like it would deteriorate pretty quickly. It was narrower than I needed in the toe box, while feeling uncomfortably loose everywhere else. I really wanted to like these but they felt and looked cheap. This may be a weird comment, but I also found the pointed shape of the toe visually unappealing.

I almost always wear a size 7 so i originally ordered a 7 but they were too large. So I exchanged them for a 6.5 which were significantly smaller than the 7, seemed more than half a size smaller but they mostly fit. (I did have an issue with the 6.5 that they originally sent me, something must have been wrong with it because the top seam- closer to the toes- on the right shoe was super digging into the top of my foot. Since the left shoe wasn’t doing that, I figured something was wrong with the specific shoe and turns out I was right because the new 6.5 they sent me didn’t have that problem). So the 6.5 fits for the most part. I doubled up my socks on a really cold day and they didnt fit anymore, so I’m not sure how well they’d fit with very thick socks. I’m hoping the leather gets more flexible as I wear them more because they don’t have a lot of give. They look just like what is in the picture. The quality doesnt seem amazing when you feel them but they still look good.

I absolutely love this shoe! I’ve worn them almost daily since I bought them. Very comfortable, easy to put on, and go with all my winter time outfits. I think I’m going to get a second pair in black.

I am very happy with these boots. I had another pair like them and wanted to get some as close to my other ones as possible. I found with boots to order 1/2 size larger than shoes because in the Winter I like thicker socks. They look nice and are not too heavy. Even though they are called combat boot, they look nice with pants.

I didn't like the color of the brown leather - too bright and splotchy and shiny. I also found the leather to be very stiff. I want a combat boot to look worn and the dye process seems to be attempting that, but "worn" wouldn't be shiny and stiff. Still - a great price for a nicely designed leather boot, but I sent 'em back. These seemed a true length of 7.5 and I found the width to be slightly narrower than most shoes. I have a narrow heel and these were just right in the heel. I normally wear either an 8 or a 7.5.

I bought a pair of these for my teenage daughter 2 years ago, and I could barely get her to wear anything else, she loves them so much. She wears them with jeans, skirts, dresses, whatever. (I'm concerned she might actually sleep in them sometimes, too!) They look amazing, so stylish and versatile. She says they are very, very comfortable, too. After two full years with them, they were finally looking worn, so I just surprised her with a new pair of them, and now she is wearing those ones every single day. Worth their weight in gold, an amazing value. #BestBootsEver

The style is great. They are super cute but one shoe just doesnt feel as comfy.. I cant wear them to work as I stand on my feet all day and they start hurting my feet.

I was thrilled to find these in wide. The first time I wore them, I noticed the leather was wearing on the inside of each boot. The second time I wore them, the left heel felt off- like it was sinking lower when I walked. Then I noticed a squeaking sound. I checked and saw that the leather was pulling away from the sole. I am very disappointed in the quality of these boots. My payless version of them that I got for $30 three years ago have held up much, much better. I am returning these boots.

They are super cute! Smell a little weird but look like real leather and made well.

I was happy to find a leather combat boot that comes in a wide. I have short, chubby legs and so the taller boots don’t work for me since my calves are so short. So I thought I would try these combat boots. I usually wear a 9WW and I tried the 9W. These come to halfway across the widest part of my calves. It’s nice because I can still lace these al the way up and they are wide enough. The foot actually feels like a double wide as that is what I usually wear. I have plenty of room and i will be able to wear thicker wool socks for winter which you will need to do for these because they are so thin. While the shoe looks good, I hate the zipper. It takes away from the combat style and I don’t actually need to use it. And it’s leather as I wouldn’t wear fake leather, it’s very thin leather. Also the sole/heel looks decent but feels cheap and it is hollow so I don’t think these will last more than one winter.

I love these boots. I wear them with everything. Very comfortable and stylish. My 17-year-old daughter would wear them if we were the same size. They run big. I am a 9 and had to return them for an 8 1/2. Zappos got the replacement boots to me overnight.

I wore these boots for years until they literally fell apart. I loved them. The style was so cool and versatile. The sole construction is not as good as it could be but considering the crazy conditions I forced these boots to endure through my teenage and college years (snow, raves, dirt), I think they are well worth it. The sole did actually disintegrate within a few months because it appeared to be made of some sort of cardboard material? I was walking in the rain and one sole just fell off. I had the boots re-soled with good rubber soles for $25 and they lasted for years after that. Then the zipper started to snag and eventually I wore them in the snow one day and forgot to put them in a sufficiently dry space and they completely warped. I am planning to buy another pair because I can't find any style that looks just like this and was just as comfortable. They are different from Doc Martens - totally different style and much lighter and easier to wear, versatile with almost any outfit. I love these boots.

Nice flat boot. My arch support inserts fit perfectly and the zipper makes them easy to put on and take off. I wear these in winter (on the west coast) with dresses and skirts and they look very nice.

I am very pleased with the fit and feel of these boots. Very soft flexible boot. Side zip or tie lace around. Brown color is beautiful. Can't wait to wear them.

One heel destroyed after 5 months of wear. Maybe I expect too much, but that seemed like a short life. Worn 3-4 days a week, fwiw. Not nothing, but still, ready for landfill in 5 months? Looking for a replacement that will last...not another pair of these.

I ordered these boots for my 17 year old daughter. She normally wears a 7 Medium in boots. These boots were very cute but they do run narrow. The style was exactly what she was looking for. They are a nice quality. I cannot offer any information on comfort since unfortunately I am returning them. They are just to narrow for her to wear. I guess it is possible a 7 1/2 might make a difference as far as width. I would recommend sizing up at least a 1/2 size on these boots. I love Zappos fast shipping and easy returns!

Excellent boots. They don’t have great tread but they are cute and they have a medium heel (not to tall or short)

Dont bother. The heels wore out immediately and actually broke apart after average use. These are very cheaply made!
