These are very comfortable shoes! I got a pair for my daughter and one for myself and we both love them! Fit is true to size.

These shoes are super cute! If you have wide feet, absolutely size up at least half a size, because the wide width in my normal size was still extremely narrow. They're very comfortable, perhaps due to the fact that I sized up. Breaking them in hasn't been as painful as some other boots, no major blisters, but the top of the zipper did scratch and chafe my legs the first couple wears, easily remedied with strategically applied band-aids. I got them in both black and brown, since they match my style perfectly. The brown isn't as dark as the picture appears, they're much more orange-toned, but still neutral enough. Can't speak for longevity as I've only worn them enough for any wear and tear to appear.

I order a 8.5 and 9 in both troopas and troopa 2s bc I wanted one of each but differnt colors. The 9s were entirely too big and the 8.5 too small. None of them fit right. So frustrating. I compared the sizes and they're NOT a half size difference but a whole size more like it. I even measured them and the sizing didn't match up at all. I found better ones from differnt brands.

I've ordered these boots twice already in the past month, in wide, and both times I receive them in medium, not wide.

I'm usually a 9 in asics and other brands, occasionally I'm a 8.5. I need to return the 9s for 8.5. The brown is dark. I had grey one that I loved but wore out. I can't find more of those new so I got brown troopas and black troopa 2s. They look similar but the 2s are a little wider. The troopa 2 soles look hardier.

These boots are perfect. Higher shaft for ankle support and dressy yet casual. They are real leather.

Fit was fine. I wear a size 7 and it was perfect. Wore them the entire first day and no break in was necessary.

arrived damaged; did not even try them on. Other reviewers reported on issues with the sole falling apart. This one came pre - disintegrated.

Although these shoes claim to come in wide they do not. I've ordered two pairs from two totally different places months apart and each pair arrived Medium width. The box says wide but I could instantly tell they were narrow and sure enough, each pair had 10 M stamped on the inside. If you are looking for a wide boot, these are not it. Since I ordered them from two different websites at different times I don't think this is an issue with zappos...but a problem with Steve Madden. What a disappointment.

These shoes are ridiculously stylish and comfortable. However, after about a year of occasional wear, the black on the top of the boots has started to come off and the leather look pretty bad.

I ordered this pair in 11W. The box said 11W, but I couldn't even get the boots on. I checked the label on the boots and both said 11M. I called explained and had a new pair shipped to me and the exact same thing happened. Box 11W - boots 11M. I don't know if they actually carry 11W in this style of shoe or if I just had bad luck twice in a row. I gave them to my mom, she's 10M and she said they fit perfectly, so even if they were wide they probably wouldn't have fit properly.

I usually wear 6E, so instead I had to go up to a 7W to get the width I need. (This is not an unusual compromise.) There are super cute and made of real leather, and are starting out a bit stiff but I’m sure they will soften with time. I look forward to wearing them a lot this winter in Northern California.

Love these boots. A good value compared to much expensive Ariats.

I usually wear an 8.5 and had to return for a half size bigger. I could get my feet in with thin socks, but it was snug. Exchanging for a size up! Overall they are super cute!!!!!!

Great deal for these boots. Leather is thin and a bit stiff - but leather at this price is usually like that (if you can find leather at ALL). SUPER comfortable!!!! Felt like I’d always had them when i put them on!

Every season except summer, my 16-year-old daughter lives in these boots! This purchase was replacing a previous pair of the same style, which lasted after 2 years or so of lots of wear (we live in NYC, and she walks a lot). They're stylish, comfortable, and durable. Thumbs up!

These boots have a cute-chic look. I find them to be nicely made. Fits TTS.

I like these boots! I have had several pair. I like to wear them especially if my ankle is feeling weak and/or achy. They give good support for the ankle. I like them with jeans or dress pants. I have heavier legs so can't lace them clear up, but that is no fault of the boot. I always wear arch supports. I used to be a hairstylist so was on my feet lots and lots. I am glad they don't have a tread sole that tracks dirt into the house.

These shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They’re also much cuter in person than online. I have worn them with casual dresses as well as jeans and they look great with both. I did add insoles because I do a lot of walking but that’s not necessary.

This boot has been around for a while. I love the look! However, when the boots were laced around the calf, I could slide half of my hand inside the boot! That was not what I wanted or expected of the boot.

Wore these first time entire weekend in NewOrleans and they are great!

Love the style but the 8.5 (my regular size) was much too short, the width was good, and a 9 was huge and much too wide, so I had to return them. Still searching for a mid -height lace/zipper boot.
