These are cheaply made. Not worth the price. They have fallen apart with casual use in just 2 months.

Love these, very comfortable and true to size.

the top of the boot is too loose. i laced it up as tight as possible but its a little weird. still comfy and very durable.

Quality Leather Boots These are very nice leather boots, comfortable and cute with leggings or jeans. They look exactly like the picture, I’m very happy with my purchase.

These look terrific. Unfortunately, the odor is unacceptable. I left the box open in a ventilated area for several days but the smell persisted. Sadly, these will have to go back.

Too long and narrow

Fit and size were spot on, and the boot was exactly what I was looking for. Gave only 3 stars because they wore out very quickly, soles are already falling apart and the finish on the leather comes off with the lightest scrapes.

My daughter loves these shoes as a 13 year old girl. I have bought them 3 times as she outgrows them.

I have been a loyal Troopa wearer for close to five years. The sole usually wears out after about nine months, but the shoe is comfortable and looks good. (I am a tour guide, so I walk a lot more and put more miles on my shoes than the average owner.) Unfortunately, Steve Madden has discontinued the Troopa and the Troopa 2.0 in an 11W. I'm not entirely sure why they cut all sizes above 9.5, but I hope they'll bring them back.

The sole of the boot is extremely comfortable. The only problem with comfort is the odd stitching near my little toe. I have to size up so that it doesn't bother me. But then I have way too much room in the toe area if I do. They would be way too long. This is a beautifully designed boot otherwise. Great quality leather also. But my recommendation is to go up 1/2 size, then it may be okay.

So UNCOMFORTABLE! I'm not sure why others describe these boots as having good arch support. The footbed is completely flat and hard. Also, the zipper cuts into your ankle, even with thick socks (there really should be a flap that covers the inside of the zipper). I've worn them for a week in hopes of breaking them in but every day I end up with aching feet and a raw ankle. I don't recommend these.

These are much more narrow than the troopa 2.0 - I had to size up. Cute though!

Purchased these for my tween daughter and she reports that they are comfy. She loves them.

I bought these boots almost 10 years ago and they are finally falling apart so I bought a new pair. The new pair I received has a much wider shaft than the original. The original boot tapered slightly at the top of the shaft so that your legs did not appear to be swimming in the boot. If you want a fit like the original, you will not get that. I also think the shoes I received look more like the Troopa 2.0 picture. The shoe tag and order slip say Troopa so my assumption is that I received the correct boots and that the picture needs to be updated.

I saw these on someone on Instagram and they looked so chic. Well, it must have been a filtered pic because these are super cheap looking in person. The material looks like something you would buy from a generic KMart brand for $15. Save your $ and find something similar in a different brand. Yes, they are truly that bad. Shame, Steve Madden!

This review may be confusing. I wear a size 10.5 M. I had to order an 11 because the 10.5 was way too narrow and there was no room in the toe box. . So, I ordered a size 11 W. The 11 is sloppy with medium-weight socks. They also make the calves too wide. The leather is too stiff for my comfort but I'm sure it would soften eventually. The color is very attractive and exactly as pictured. I wish they fit better because the style, heel, and shaft height are perfect. I'll be returning these.

Size was great, ample width but they had a foul smell. Pair were 9W in brown. I also bought them in a 9M in brown and they were fine. Kept them even though they were a bit uncomfortable.

They sent two different types of laces! Color more orange than brown. Fit a little too large in the length.

I've always loved my Steve Madden shoes. U til this pair. They are cheaply made and look like it. Sad for $80 boots that I think look like exactly like what Walmart sold. Not even kiddo G.

Boots are great- everything that I expected. Just what I wanted. Love them.

These boots were sent in the wrong size even though I ordered the correct size. This website has been compromised by phony shoes and inept fulfillment workers.
