My 12 year old daughter loves these. Comfortable, walked long distances in them. Easily scuffed, however, need to get some polish to try and fix up after wearing only twice.

Great little boot! Perfect with skinny jeans, leggings, darling with a skirt and tights. I've worn them all three ways and get complimented with each ensemble! And to top it off, they are comfortable too! Definitely worthy of consideration, Zappos stand behind its products, you can't go wrong, and won't be disappointed.

Love the color (stone) and the style but they are just too narrow and have no support so had to send them back

So I got a pair of these for Christmas. They were great at first, but I have quite large calves, so when i put them on and zipped it up, the zipper on the right boot would pop open. So I gave them to one of my friends. Overall they are a very stylish shoe to me, you just have to have quite small calves. But i got Doc Marten's instead.

Loved the look of these shoes. They took a little bit of wearing in but once they stretched out a bit they were extremely comfortable. They did get holes in the soles within 4-5 months of wearing them and the zipper on the left shoe broke within 1 month. I just ended up wrapping the laces around the boot for security but it would have been nice to have the zipper, especially on rainy days. These boots are super cute, I received a lot of compliments, but for the price I just wish they would have held up a little longer.

This is my daughter's third pair of these Steve Madden Troopa boots. She loves them. However, they do not last very long if you wear them frequently...bottom sole cracks easily.

I would like a better quality leather, these are thin and I feel they will not hold up, also they must run big as I always wear 7.5 and these are too big.

These boots are exactly what I wanted. They look just like the picture! Some people say they have a smell but it's the leather. I actually like the smell! I'm usually a 5 1/2 so I got a 6 and it fits perfect. They go with everything!

I love them! The color is great as well as the style. They are a bit narrow in the width but are doable. I cannot send them back because of it since they are way too cute. I am giving them four stars for comfort due to the shoes running a bit narrow.

Most comfortable and versatile boots I've ever worn. Walk all over NYC in these and never any issues. So pleased with first pair that I bought a second pair to stash away for subsequent years.

Love! I stalked these boots for weeks and finally caved and bought them in black. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they cured the flu I was suffering from. Easy to wear the very first day!

I bought these to replace some boots I got at Payless last year (which I think were actually an imitation of these!). When I first got them, I tried them on with some medium socks and couldn't even get them on my feet - I ordered an 8 and I am a narrow size 8. Remembering that leather stretches, I tried again.. this time armed with thinner socks and my roommate's shoe horn. Tight squeeze going over the heel, but that did the trick. They were extremely uncomfortable for the first hour or so, but I toughed through the day and took it easy on my feet. The next day I was able to pry them on without the shoe horn, and they got gradually more comfortable each day after that. Yesterday, I wore them for too long, thinking that they were close enough to broken in. Bad idea. I walked all around downtown, and by the time I was walking back to campus my toes and heels started aching. As soon as I got inside, I ripped the boots off to discover large blisters on my right heel and covering both of my pinky toes :( I'll have to take a few days off from the boots. In that time I plan to take some leather conditioner and elbow grease to them. I ordered the Cognac color - it looks more similar to the Brown Leather color in the pictures (and the laces are more like those on the Brown) but it's exactly what I wanted. They are great boots, just be sure you remember that leather boots take finessing!!

These boots are not comfortable and they scuff very easily. Within a week of wearing them, the toes got totally scuffed up. They already look old. Would not recommend.

Better than expected. Great boots, very comfortable from first day and they seem like more expensive boots. My friend saw them and ordered right away. Love wearing under jeans or with knee high socks and skirt/dress. Love these!!!

First of all, Zappos has these the cheapest of all the stores I looked at. They shipped super fast. I got them in just a couple of days and i live in Florida! I'm really pleased with the boots. They are comfortable, durable, and I have received a ton of compliments on them the first day wearing them. Want a pair in black next!

These boots are attractive. The side zipper makes it easy to get them on and off even going through airline security. The laces do not always stay tied.

I bought these boots for my daughter. She loves them! They are very cute, seem to be well-made, and the color is very true to the photo online. The best thing about this sale, though, is the Zappos service. I ordered these at the last minute, only a week before Christmas. They arrived promptly a day or two later (even with regular shipping), but to my dismay, the wrong size was shipped. I called Zappos, and they immediately shipped another pair, overnight, with no extra expense to me, and without me having to return the incorrect size first. And, even though this phone call took place after 4 pm, I still received them the next day, and well in time to wrap and put under the tree. Thank you, Zappos, for yet another great customer service experience!

I got these for my teenage daughter...all the rage right now, I guess...and she absolutely loves them. Fit was perfect. She wears them all the time.

LOVE THESE BOOTS! They are even cuter in person. Very nice. I see other people have complained about the cracking soles, but I only just got them so I've no comment on that issue. I got these boots b/c they are quite similar to combat boots by Land's End Canvas that are currently going for more. I bought these for less and one thing better about these versus the Land's End combat boots, these have a side zipper for easier on-off access. The Land's End boots, at a whopping cost, did not. I'll take a gamble with cracked soles and if they crack, just send them back. Zappos Rocks!

Purchased this stylish boot for my 17 year old daughter and they look darling on her. For some reason she doesn't think so. She always gets compliments every time she wears them. They are a very comfortable boot for her. Hope she get get wear out of them.

These boots are wonderful! I got the ones in brown leather about a month ago, and I wear them almost every day. They go great with just about any outfit. My feet tend to get really cold but if I wear them with fuzzy socks they are warm all day long.

I love this boot! I cannot testify to the durability of the sole because I just received them and have not worn them enough. I am tall with long skinny feet and was excited that they have size 11 on Zappos. I normally wear a size 11 or 11.5 in running shoes and a size 11 in Steve Madden flats or sandals. I first ordered the boots in an 11 brown and the size was much too big. It felt much larger than an 11 usually does on me. The brown color was also very dark. I next ordered a 10 cognac and it was perfect. The color is beautiful and the fit feels more like 10.5 and my toes have plenty of room with normal dress socks. Thicker socks will probably fit well also. So far, the fit is very comfortable but I have not walked long distances in them yet. I love the look of the boot because it does not feel like a clunky Doc Marten type combat boot. It is very sleek and trendy. I have already worn them with leggings and they look great. I ordered cognac hoping to be able to wear them with black as well as brown and I think I can pull it off. I don't think the brown leather color would work with black pants/leggings at all! I love the cognac ones so much that I might buy them in black color as well! If you are considering a combat style boot, this is it!
