These boots are great. They are comfortable and the color is amazing. Tried to get them at another store and they sold out immediately. I was so glad that Zappos had them.

I LOVE these boots! I purchased them in black, size 8. I typically wear a size 8 in most shoes/boots and these fit PERFECTLY from the moment I tried them on. My mom didn't know what to get me for my birthday, so she gave me money as a gift, and told me to buy something for myself; something I've really been wanting. I bought these boots with the $ and they are the BEST birthday gift I received! I haven't been this excited about a pair of shoes/boots in awhile! So cute! Extremely stylish! Very comfortable! Quality leather; can't beat the price! The zipper glides easily with NO tugging or straining. I would definitely purchase these again (and may just do so, in another color. I have my eye on the cognac!) These are EXACTLY what I was looking for in a combat-style boot!!! I wanted quality, style, and something with just a bit of an "edge", but nothing too crazy (I'm a very young 42 year old). These look fabulous with leggings (the only thing I've worn them with so far). But they would also look great paired with long skirts, short skirts with tights, skinny jeans, etc. I am extremely pleased with this purchase! And of course, I am pleased as always, with the excellent service provided by Zappos!

The soles fell apart. The uppers are still great. The sole on one foot split in half and the heels wore down almost immediately. The uppers look fine age, but the heels and soles wore down so fast. I have read a lot of reviews about customer service from this company and am expecting none. I would not buy these boots again. Leather boots are usually assumed to be made with quality materials, while synthetics, at the cheaper price point are somewhat disposable. These are the worst of both worlds, nice leather but cheesy soles. My daughter, a bit of a shoe hound, wore these 3 or 4 times a month over a period of a year before they became unusable.

I have these boots in 7 different colors. I love them. They are comfortable and go with so many different looks.

Very comfortable hippie boot right out of the box. Love the purple, boots come looking very worn which is fine for me but I could see others being a little disappointed in the 'used' look.

Absolutely love these boots. I bought them in the cognac color. They are a little darker than I expected but they look good. I live in Steve Madden boots and heels. I have a closet full of Steve Madden boots. I usually wear a 7 to 7.5 in Steve Madden shoes. Size down in these. I got the 7 and they were huge still. I am sending them back and reordering them in a size 6.5. Hope this helps your decision to order these.

I love these boots! They are very fashionable, cute with a nice blouse or a plain t-shirt. I have not had them for long so I cannot comment on the soles of the shoes. They do crease easy, but what can you do about that. Overall I like them. They are a little pricey, so I will be waiting a while to get another pair.

This is a great looking boot at a relatively low price. I'm sorry the other customers are finding they don't last long, but I'd buy these even knowing they are good for only one season: they look that good. (Though that's a little pricey for only one season!) We bought them in Stone color and they look as great as the photo. The only other way to go is to price up and go with Dr. Martens or Frye, and those can get pretty spendy, or maybe try some of the Harley-Davidsons.

I love these boots! Basic combat-style boots, with long laces that I like to wrap around. I love leaving the top unlaced so it fans out, and the zipper on the inside is super cute unzipped a little. I've had people ask me if these are rag + bone - they really do look more expensive than they are. Definitely recommend. I'd say they run about a half size small - I'm usually a 7.5 and had to exchange for the 7 - thanks Zappos!

Boots were spot on for the cognac color I was hoping for and they are comfortable and really cute either with a sundress, leggings, jeans or shorts. Quite comfortable too, and true to size. May even buy a few in other colors. Definitely recommend.

Love the shoes! I was getting tired of the traditional, close the the knee, boots, and wanted something a little funkier. These are great - pair them with jeans, a dress, skirt, anything. I will say, however, that the tip of the boot has changed color dramatically. I will simply add some shoe polish, but it did happen quite quicker than it should have. Additionally, while they are comfortable and easy to wear, you may want to add a heel or foot insole. They are very flat shoes, and after wearing for a long amount of time, your feet are tired. Regardless, for a somewhat inexpensive boot, I highly recommend.

I was super skeptical about these boots after reading some of the negative reviews...so glad I bought them! They are perfect and exactly what I've been wanting. They are quite comfy out of the box, however, I definitely recommend ordering a 1/2 size down. I exchanged my first pair in my true size 9 1/2 for the 9, and I still have room with socks. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering the brown pair as well, and for $99 bucks you should too! I don't remember the last time I paid so little for such well made shoes!!!

I was extremely impressed with the style of these boots but highly disappointed by the quality. I tried them on for the first time and absolutely loved them, but when I went to take them off I found that an interior lining of fabric around the heel had ripped from the bottom of the shoe. I had only worn them once and this happened. As always, Zappos' customer service came to my rescue. I loved the style, but for this price they are not worth it. They will not last.

Shoe is so cute! I usually wear a 6.5 or a 7 and ended up buying the 7 in this shoe in stone and 6.5 in black. Both fit well. Not the most comfortable foot bed but not bad either. Can wear these laced up all the way or half way, outside a skinny jean or inside. Goes with everything. Love!

These boots look beautiful and work well fastened to the top or fastened half way and tied around the ankle. They are the perfect feminine military style boot. The only criticism is that they are very lightweight, so I don't know how good the quality is, or how long the sole will last. But they are beautiful!

I love these boots. This is the second pair for me.They are very comfortable and look good. I get many compliments when I wear them. I trekked around NYC no problem!

I was very excited about these boots and ordered my typical size 9. When they arrived they were HUGE. I had read quite a few reviews before purchasing, but no one complained that they ran super big. I had to return for a full size smaller (I haven't been a size 8 shoe since Jr. High!) The size 8 fit perfectly and I really love the boots. I've gotten quite a few compliments on them. Just a warning for all those size 9 ladies out there...they run big!

These boots look really good. I see people wearing them on the subway every day, definitely on trend. Had to return my first pair - these run half a size too big. The leather finish is nice, I like the burnishing. They come half laced in the box and I wore them both ways. The pair I returned was very different from the one I got as a replacement, even though I ordered the same exact color. The leather quality was different and so was the color. The thread color was also very different. Guessing there isn't much consistency in production for these. The foot support isn't really there. These aren't very well padded and not something I'd wear if I was going to spend all day on my feet and running around town. The big downside for me is that there isn't a heel tap on these, it's just one piece of rubber. I don't know if people have shoes repaired anymore, maybe no one else will even notice this, but I definitely do. Having these heels repaired when they get worn out will be a huge pain. Overall, a lot better than I have come to expect from this brand. Glad I got them.

I've only worn these once so far, but they're perfect! I ordered them in brown and was pleasantly surprised to see that the color is a bit richer and darker in person. Even out of the box they're quite comfortable, and I'm sure once the leather gives a bit they'll fit like gloves. Based on all the reviews I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the soles for cracks, though.

Wonderful boot. Got it out of the box, put the boot on, and it felt very comfortable from the very first second. I did order them 1/2 size larger, but only because one of my feet had surgery, and the foot is somewhat disfigured. I ordered the perfect size. Overall: the pair of boots do look just great.

Cute boot and beautiful leather upper (the picture doesn't do it justice). It is pretty comfortable. Fits great and I like the zipper for easy access!

Extremely comfortable and stylish. Great to wear with pants or shirts. I have flat feet so i had to insert my arch support into my shoes with no problems.
