HORRIBLE BOOTS. SUPER CUTE BUT THE QUALITY SUCKS!! NOT WORTH THE $$$$ Bought these in August, wore them 5 TIMES the zipper breaks and ZAPPOS or STEVE MADDEN won't do anything to help me. I wore them 5 times! Ridiculous that they are refusing to help me only because I bought them 8 months ago. A pair of $$$ boots should last alot longer than wearing them 5 times.

I love these, bought them several weeks ago and wear them all the time. I have high arches and do have to wear supports in them but they still fit beautifully (when new they were a bit tight but stretched to fit perfectly). My only other qualm - the leather sort of scratches easily, the varnish kind of wears off to expose a lighter brown underneath that cannot be protected with oil/weatherproofing/etc to the best of my knowledge. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with them! I weatherproofed them and feel okay wearing them in rain which is also marvelous.

Love it! These are totally comfortable, and have lasted through the year despite every-other-day wear. This color (camel) is lighter than many similar boots, so looks more unique.

I have wide feet. And these boots felt great... at first. Then after a couple hours, I realized there was no give near the toes, and my feet ached for the rest of the time I was wearing them. Don't be fooled by the first fit.

Not the color I was expecting. Extremely disappointing and will be returning. I love the shoe and have in other colors.

I bought these boots in brown a few years ago, and bought the black for some variety. These boots age amazingly well, are comfortable for everyday use, and go with everything (shorts, dresses, jeans, leggings, etc.). The leather becomes pretty flexible after a couple good wearings, and well stretch to fit your feet. The side zipper makes it much easier to slip on, and feels well made. Overall, I love these boots and would gladly buy another pair.

I love these boots, I got them last year for a play and ended up wearing them almost every day. They are so comfortable, very stylish and can take a lot of beating. I am normally a 9.5 wide and I got regular 9's. As I said before I have had these for a year and they are just now starting to wear out, this is of me wearing them everywhere from the market to the mountains. I highly recommend these boots to anyone who wants a stylish, but comfortable pair of boots they can where anywhere.

I bought these boots for my daughter (12yo) and she absolutely loves them. They are true to size and the zipper makes them very easy to get on and off. She wears them all the time and says they are very comfortable. Also, very stylish for a teen/tween or anyone for that matter. I might have bought a pair for myself but my tween would not have liked that very much!

I love love love these boots. I have worn them to their end. Had them about 14 months, and they are well loved. Wish they had lasted a bit longer but still very happy. The only reason why I'm retiring them is from wearing them nearly everyday. Going to buy another pair for myself!

I bought these in cognac originally and fell in love with this boot. It quickly became my everyday staple shoe. I was excited to see Zappos carried these and all the different colors! I just purchased the green leather and can see my self going back for another pair. This boot is just amazing! It fits true to size and looks even better as it wears. Also, it's incredibly comfortable, I wear these all day long on a regular basis and my feet never get tired of them! Perfect with jeans, leggings, skirts, and even summer dresses! It is such a versatile shoe that enhances mny look! Highly recommend!

The Steve Madden "Troopa" is my absolute favorite Steve Madden boot (all of my shoes are Steve Maddens)! I two pairs---brown leather and a floral pair. I live in the city and they are so comfortable to walk in. If these boots can make it for days of walking in NYC, they can make it anywhere. They're comfy, cute, and go with anything! LOVE THEM.

These boots are for fashion. If you want to hike or do any serious work with them, they are not for you. They are leather and you are not going to find many leather boots for less than the price.

When I got these I was a little skeptical because there was an imperfection in the insole, like it had been folded under during construction. I should have taken that as a warning of the quality of craftsmanship, but I decided to wear them anyway since I couldn't notice it with socks on. I really loved these for the first two weeks. After only 3 weeks of wear though, the rubber heel on one boot fell off completely. These are cute and comfortable, but they are really cheaply made and I would advise against buying them. Now I've totally wasted money by purchasing these when I could have waited a little longer and bought a well-made boot instead. Sad.

Love these boots! They run small. I usually wear a 9 but ordered an 8 size and they fit perfectly.

Colors are great and this shoe goes great with everything! Not much arch support so you may need to use inserts if you normally use them.

My daughter has been wishing for combat boots for a while now. They fit great, and give her a tailored look. Love them. I'd get a pair, but being "twinsies" with my teenager does fly in my house!

Love them! I ordered a half size smaller than my normal shoes and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and look really classy. I also like that they can be worn in multiple different ways.

These are really cute boots! I bought them for my college-aged daughter. She loves them. She wears them with pants and leggings. She has even worn them with tights and and a dress.

I bought these for my 12 year old daughter and she loves them! She wears them all the time and they are perfect for school. Size runs true. They are comfortable, and with the zipper on the side easy to put on/off instead of having to tie all the laces.

Great boots! My daughters second pair! I had to get a half size up from her normal size.

The boots where just as they were described in the add. They get to me very quick, and are good quality. A+

I got these boots for my 13th birthday, and I was really excited. These boots, although they have mixed reviews, are great to wear to school and go with so much. The laces give a sort of edgy vibe and work great with jeans, leggings, or skirts/dresses. I love to wear them with socks that show over the top of the boot. They run a little small, I typically wear a size 7, and it felt really tight so I went with a seven and a half, which fits great. The light brown is great for fall and winter. The sole is not great for snow, and the leather smells slightly chemically at first. Overall these are great boots, and I would recommend them to teens and anyone looking for a combat-like boot that is comfortable and cute at the same time.
