These boots are amazing! Great quality leather and laces and super comfortable. I've only had them for a few weeks but they've already become a favorite and a staple in my wardrobe. I'd highly recommend these -- they go great with anything and can be dressed down during the day or up to go out at night!

I bought these boots for my daughter and she loves them. She wears them with dresses,jeans... whatever. She says that they are very comfy!

Nice boots, however they ran big. I ve bought steve madden shoes before and never had an issue.

I have to say that I am really surprised by all of these negative reviews about poor quality. I bought these in a Steve Madden store in four colors and I LOVE them. I am only now having to get the soles replaced, but that's after about two or three years of wearing them almost daily, winter or summer. No stitching has come apart or anything. They are UNBELIEVABLY comfortable. I could walk for miles in these and they are SUPER cute! I get tons of compliments on them.

I love these boots! I bought them specifically for a trip to Europe where I planned on doing a lot of walking, but wanted to look cute as well. I wore the boots a few times before the trip to break them in and found them to be quite comfortable over all. The toe area is a little narrow so I would definitely recommend wearing them around a bit before going long distances.

I love these boots. I wear them all the time and get compliments on them. They look good with skinny jeans, boot cut jeans and some skirts and dresses. They are comfortable to walk or stand in all day, I am a hairstylist. Thinking of ordering brown too I love them so much.

I really liked these boots and wore them for a couple of years before I had to throw them away. In mine, the leather just next to the heel in the back wore through due to constant creasing and rubbing against the hard heel material. I also had to take them to a shop to re-glue the front together after the sole started to come away. I'm giving them three stars because for that price I would expect a sturdier build. Otherwise they are nice boots which I wore with both skirts and jeans. They are not chunky and visually make the foot smaller which is a rarity for boots (I'm a size 10) and are a good everyday shoe that is easy to put on and take off thanks to the zipper.

I wore these boots for less than a year. Within the first few months the soles cracked and I had them resoled by an expert cobbler. (He sort of scoffed at their low level of craftsmanship.) They scuffed at an impressive rate, and have now fallen to tatters. I like the style, but at the price I would have expected better quality.

Love! They run a half size bigger than your regular size. I am an 8 and needed a 7 1/2.

I got a pair of these boots and within a month the sole fell off and there we're huge holes in the bottom of the boot. The boot was comfortable at first, but then I ended up getting many blisters. The boot was a waist of money and a complete rip-off.

I bought these boots three or so years ago and today. I've decided to hang them up for good, I've walked them to death! They were my every day shoes, they go with every outfit and are ridiculously comfortable. My issues with them are that the sole does wear out pretty easily and they scuff a lot and the color turns green. I'm not sure if every pair is like this and mine smelled funny when I got them (not like leather) and it lingered (I bought them from a Madden store though)! For the price, they last as long as you would expect. They are better quality than cheap boots, but they're made for fashion, not necessarily true butt kicking combat. Today is a sad day but they are completely trashed. Will repurchase!

I love these boots! They are super comfortable and needed very little break-in time. I am a hairstylist and stand all day and they're fine. Plus, I get compliments on them every time I wear them, even from some of my conservative clients. I've only worn them with skinny jeans but am hoping they will look cute with a skirt too. Definitely recommend them!

These boots are stylish and comfortable, easy to lace up and then use the side zipper to get on and off. They aren't super tall and also aren't super wide, which is great if you have smaller ankles/calves like I do. The size seems to be totally random. After trying on an 8.5, I purchased both the 9 and 9.5 but oddly the 9.5 felt smaller than the 9. I'd recommend trying a few sizes... also they seemed to be made slightly different (eyelets and look of the leather).

I had a pair of these shoes in college, but unfortunately 3 years of ice, snow, and salt in chicago ruined them. Because they were my favorite shoes, I decided to order another pair. However, the second I opened the box, I knew something was off. The shoes looked the same, but the leather chemical smell was horrible. Just trying on the shoe made my socks and clothes reek. The room I left the shoes in overnight smelled horrible the next day as well. I'm currently airing out the shoes in my garage, but it's been about 3 weeks and there's not been any improvement. I'm considering returning them, which makes me sad because I really did love these shoes the first time I ordered them.

I had these boots three years ago and wore them all the time, but needed a new pair (because a dog peed on mine, not because of craftsmanship). The only downside was the cognac color shown is no longer available. The color is brown with a distressed look which pulls a little bit of lighter color but not like the old cognac color. Very disappointed but I'm getting used to this color and I still love the boots overall.

Now, don't get me wrong. I loved these boots and wore them nearly every day to my bar tending job and in my day to day life. Naturally, that can be hard on a pair of shoes but they were so comfortable and the more they got worn, the better they looked… And then it happened, the soles on both shoes cracked in half at the ball of my foot after 2 months. I tried to return them, and was denied from Steve Madden's website and it was explained to me that they were not covered for more than 30 days. I was obviously very upset but I loved the look of them, so I got another pair that looked almost exactly the same by Sketchers for half the price. Ive had them for a year now, and they are going strong. Needless to say, I will never buy Steve Madden products again.

I bought these for my 16 year old daughter and she loves them. She wears them every day. This is her third pair and we have found them to be durable, comfortable, and cute. They run true to size.

I borrowed these in black from my friend for weeks and finally decided to order a pair for myself but in brown. I'm usually a 6.5-7, and the 7 fits great with plenty of room for my toes and cozy socks. My only complaint is that they got scuffed up pretty quickly, but they still look good. Comfortable enough to wear all day on my feet at work.

I love these boots. I bought them for my seven year old daughter last year and I have been wanting them for myself. I wear an 8½ and that is what I got. That fits perfectly!

These boots are great! Very comfortable, stylish & fun. I have wide calves, and these fit very nicely. (Also helps that they aren't full length--they come to the bottom of my calves.) The side zipper helps, and the ability to tie the laces to your liking is key. They are made of a nice leather, and are quite sturdy. A great addition to my wardrobe!

The heel split in half the first time my daughter wore them. The heel is layered particle board so it cannot be repaired, a new heel must be put on. Bought them at Dillards 4 months prior thinking her others would wear out in the future. Took them to shoe repair shop and he was able to separate the other heel in half with his bare hand with minimal effort. Paying $20.00 to have a true leather heel replaced on both. First pair bought 1.5 years ago were of very good quality.

Second pair of these that we have ordered for our daughter. Her first pair held up to days upon days of everyday wear -- in addition to the beating she gave them during her 8 month company dance season! Worth every penny!

I do love these boots. They are so cool. True to size & color. Comfortable but I wish bottom lining was more cushy. For the high price they should have more cushion. Hard as rock - which is why I didn't buy cheaper boots at the local stores.

Bought these for my teen daughter and she loves them! Sizing was perfect and she wore them all day at school and walked to and from with no complaints. Very happy with our purchase. We LOVE zappos!

These boots are sturdy, rugged but super comfortable at the same time. For the longest time, I was in look out for to-go boots to take me anywhere in the city like Chicago where walking on streets is one obvious mode of transportation. In addition, these boots seems like perfect companion for winter where rain, snow and sleet are omnipresent but I am also sure I can wear these boots through spring and fall seasons with perfect ease. However, I have only one problem with these boots; my left foot boot seems to be tighter than the other. I have tried loosening the laces to no success. And this becomes bit uncomfortable when I have to walk for long time.
