I loved the look of these boots and they fit great; however, the buckle at the base seemed very flimsy and one was already so loose it was about to come off. Sad.

I really wanted these to work for me because I like the look which doesn't have the elastic band. Alot of the reviews said there was pleanty of room at the calf for wearing over jeans which is what I wanted to do. I'm 5'5" with a 17" calf and size 8 1/2. Unfortunately, I have to return. The size in the foot it perfect in face just a little room to spare but zipping up was extremely snug at the calf. Not any room to spare for me and forget jeans. Also, they pinched at the ankle and I could see that being a problem. On with my search.

These boots are great. I ordered and tried on three other pairs of Fitzwell boots before I found these. They fit great, unlike the other wide calf boots which were actually to wide for my calves. The zipper on one of the boots did zip right off of the boot when I tried them on, the zipper stops on the end of the zipper had come off. Zappos was great about it though. They paid for the zipper to be fixed since they didn't have any of this style remaining in this size and now they work great.

Loved them, but sent them back. I bought these in brown and loved them, but I had to return them. I wear a size 9 so I got my normal size. The calf wasn't big enough for me. If only it had a little give to it, it would have been perfect. I'm sad that I sent them back, but I don't think a size bigger would have helped. I think for being wide, it was pretty narrow.

This boot was very pretty, but it did not fit whatsoever. I got it zipped up about 6 inches. I'm 5'3", and have 17.5 inch calves. I can't speak to long-term comfort or support, obviously, but the boots are very pretty and I'm bummed they don't work. Back to the drawing board.

I bought these based on the high reviews. These boots had no support and were quite uncomfortable. The shaft width was too wide for my 16" calf. Boots aren't ugly, but aren't anything special. Will return them and try again.

These just arrived and I was so excited! Not now...the calf fits as it should; however, the toe box feels as if I am trying to fit my foot into a 7 Narrow not a 10 wide. What gives? This toe box (which was more pointed than it appeared in the pictures) is way out of proportion for a shoe in a Wide width. I'll have to return. Sorry.

Nice leather, good looking boot. However, it's got a very hard footbed and a hard feel under my heel, especially. Marked as being 16" circumference but it measured 18-1/4" in reality and positively flopped around my calves. would be fine if I wanted to wear regular jeans with them, but I need them for tights & skirts. Will have to try again with another pair.

Oh, no! I ordered these in Wide, but I could tell as soon as I took them out of the box that they were going to be way too narrow! They were also too long in the toe - I ordered my regular size, 6, but had at least an extra inch up front; since they do not come in a 5 1/2 WW, I'm going to have to return them. They were cute, though, just not a good fit at all. The LiveChat person I contacted at Zappos was very helpful for the return.

I just received these boots and didn't even try them on! They are really uglier than the picture and for the price, just not what I wanted. So back they go.
