Wore the boots for the first time today. Little warm out so my feet were a little hot and achy. The achy part could be because I took a longer run that normal this morning. Overall a very comfortable shoe, the upper part stretched out a bit. I like the boots enough to buy them in brown when\/if they become available in my size.

Almost but not quite right - This is one of the nicest pairs of wide calf boots I have found. Unfortunately, the shoe portion was not wide enough for my feet! If it had been available in a WW width, it would have been just fine for me. It is true to size in length and the calf is generous. Also, it is a very good quality boot. I was sorry to have to return them.

Great everyday boot - These boots are very comfortable and stylish. The only complaint I have is that the toe is not really pointed or square so looks a little awkward under wide leg pants.

Great boot - I love this boot and get a lot of compliments on it. The only problem I experience is heel pain on the bottom of my foot if I wear them more than 5 hrs straight.

Nice looking boots perfect width - I really like these boots but wish I had gotten them a half size smaller. The narrow toe broken in very quickly so now they are a too long and slosh around a lot. An insole helped the fit a bit and the uncomfortable heel. The fit of the calf is perfect and even tapers down to a normal ankle width which most wide calves don't. Overall these are great looking boots just wish I got them a bit smaller.

I bought these b/c of the great reviews but am really disappointed. Even though they are real leather, they don't look like it--they look sort of pleathery. I am a very average sized woman with above average calves. The boots were very snug in the ankle--had trouble zipping over tucked skinny jeans--but enormous at the top, leaving over a 1 inch gap that just looked weird. I am very regretfully returning them.

I was very pleased when I received these boots as I have gymnast calves that won't fit into a normal size boot. However, wearing these boots over jeans, leggings and under pants, the zipper broke off! very disappointed for an expensive leather boot.

I was excited to receive these. When opening the box, I saw a very nice leather quality and a boot that could serve both as a moderately dressy style as well as casual with jeans. These are shown as Wide Calf. The calf size is great as I have an athletic build. However, the footbed itself is very wide. Please change the description to Wide.

The shaft height was spot-on but the calf was gapingly wide. The footbed felt really comfortable. I might try the non-wide calf version of this brand. I ordered a 9 and will be returning.

Comfortable - Check! Decent Quality of Leather - umm, yeah, sure Check! Fit my size 11 Medium fit - No! A little too big, almost a half size too big! Fits my size 16 1/2 circumference calves? No! They're huge! I tried these boots on and was able to slip my whole hand inside without even stretching the boot! If you have a huge calf, and I'm talking 18 inches, then baby, this boot is for you!

These did fit my calves, but they bunched throughout, and the way the boots are made, that only accentuated my bigger calf at the top as you can kind of see from the picture. Also they are not as fashionable as I had hoped.

I went to Italy and walked all around in these shoes. So it is really tested. The leather stretched too much and it looks ugly and two sizes too big. I got a severe corn. And yes, it was because of the shoes. My first boots and I am disappointed. I thought I would use it for at least two seasons.

In an ideal world, all my shoes would be 6½W, although I have never tried 6WW and that might be the magic size. Throw in short, muscular legs and boot shopping is basically a nightmare. I tend to size up to a 7 if wide sizes are unavailable, and the extra toe room works as a good buffer when people step on my feet on the subway. I ordered the 7W in these boots since the 6½W was out of stock. The width was just perfect. I actually think that a regular width 7 might have been a little tight, so the regular width might be a good option for those with narrow feet. I had extra toe room as usual. The roomy wide calves on these boots are very welcome, as I can never find wide enough calves on 6½ or 7 sized boots. I have enough room to tuck in skinny jeans. The insole is a nice touch as well for added comfort. These are very nice looking boots. The leather does not bunch up weirdly at the ankle the way lots of boots do; it lies nice and smoothly for me. I have only worn them a few times so far, but they have a secure, supportive feel when I walk. I am going to buy the black ones as well because I love these boots so much. I might give the 6WW a try. Also, Zappos' customer service is seriously the best thing on Earth. I had some delivery issues and the order was sent back to Zappos. When my account was credited and I wanted to reorder, the price had increased quite a bit. Zappos gave me a coupon for the difference to ensure that I paid the original price and my boots arrived the very next day! Thank you!

Awesome boot! Just what I was looking for. I have EXTREMELY large calves (18in circumference) and these fit well, a little snug but I'm sure they'll stretch out with wear. I usually wear an 8.5 but I ordered a 9.5 WW which fit good. It's so hard for my to find riding boots that fit over my calf and these worked!

Nice looking boot, nice wide calf although a little sloppy in the ankle. Unfortunately not quite wide enough in the toe box. Liked the gel in the heel, seemed like it would be comfortable to wear for a long day.

I love these boots. They are comfortable and warm. The design is perfect for my 55 year old feet and legs. They are very pretty, too.

Even though I've never been able to wear regular boots, I wasn't mentally prepared to go the "wide calf" route. I thought they'd be obvious and I'd look silly next to my regular-calved friends. But I read a review of these boots on a fashion blog and as an impulse, I just went for it. I'm so happy I did. I never knew the joy of long boots - how they actually make your leg look slimmer and keep you warm! These fit perfectly, I can even wear them over jeans. I like that there's no heel because I can wear them every day. The only issue is that if you wear them from morning until night, they start to hurt a little.

Just got these and love them! They fit my 17" calves with leggings/jeggings and look great with skirt & tights. I usually wear a B or C width, but I read the review and ordered the extra wide and they fit just right. Nice sleek, riding boot look.

Thank you for you helpful reviews! I am a size 12 with a 17.5" calf and would never had considered ordering a boot with an advertised 16.5" calf but did because of your helpful information. The boots fit perfectly! I ordered a wide since they have a more pointed toe shape which I'm glad I did. I will have room to add insoles for support. Thank you Zappos customers.

I have an extremely hard time finding shoes that fit much less boots. However, these were great! No complaints from this department. I love working with Zappos. Service is extraordinary. Thanks!

I have wide calfs and normal width feet and ankles and have an extremely hard time finding boots to fit. My calf measures about 16½" and these fit great. They do not gather and bunch up at the ankle and I can fit them over jeans and leggings with no problem and there is a small amount of room to spare so they look normal on your legs. I get compliments on them when I wear them. I returned about five other pairs before I finally found these. They are decent leather and they are quality. you are not going to do much better if you have the calf problems that I do.

A little stiff at first, but broke in after a few hours. Fits my calves perfectly even with tucked pants. I have a skinny foot but big calves. Normally wear a 9N & ordered a 8.5. No complaints.

This truly fits a wide calf and will allow for skinny jeans to be tucked in. It narrows nicely at the ankle to keep the shape of the leg and not look like cankles. They are warm and the leather is nice. There is no arch support so I would not recommend walking the city all day in these but they are comfortable for wearing around to functions that are some walking and some sitting. The soles are nice and do not skid or slip.

Love these boots, they look and feel great. Have recommended to my girlfriends with wide calf problems. Can wear them all day to work or shop and they are comfortable until the end of my day!
