I have wanted some of the hunter boots for a while and finally decided to spend the money on a pair. I am 5'2" so the talls come up over my knee and are uncomfortable. I love the shorts but wanted them to be just a bit taller. These are perfect! I have 14" calves and these fit with room to spare. I wear a size 8½ to 9 and ordered a size 8 in these and the fit is perfect. I got the black gloss and they are just beautiful. And Zappos is so awesome. I ordered these at 5:00 PM and they were at my house the next morning. I do not know how they do it!

These absolutely exceeded expectations! I wear an 8½ to a 9M and went with the 9 because I have athletic calves. They fit great and allow for heavier socks for cushioning. I am able to wear them with skinny jeans and I have not tried leggings or boot socks but I think that I can make it with one if not too thick. I love them - gloss red is the way to go! Zappos s the greatest!

These run true to size. If you are a six in other boots, you are a six in the huntress. I bought these for myself and another person. However, in trying three boots in a size 6, only two fit and one was huge. Again, they were all sized 6. So if you order one and it is huge in your size, I would recommend ordering another in the same size and you should be good. That is what happened to me. I am happy with my boots.

These boots are amazing! Over the past year I had been considering purchasing these boots! I am SO happy that I finished the deal, my feet were warm and dry all day long!

I have been looking for rain boots that were of good quality, looked good and fit my large calves, as well as fit the length of my short legs...I'm 5'2 and wear extended calf boots (approx. 15-16 circumference). I love them! They fit beautifully with leggings, jeans, all with and without boot socks, I ordered the Hunter boot socks and I'm still waiting for those, so cannot speak to the fit yet. The Huntress boots are just perfect! I bought these to tromp around Italy this November and of course I've already been able to take advantage of them here in my home state of Florida. The first time I wore them, I wore them all day to the movies, to a birthday party and about 5 hours of shopping. They were so comfortable...I have bunions, I know gross, but when I can say a pair of shoes/boots are comfortable, it says a lot. If you are looking at these rain boots, do not hesitate purchasing them, they are worth the money. One comment, when I received them, one of the boots already started blooming. I read that a little bit of olive oil rubbed into the surface would clear it up...worked like a charm!

In love with with my red huntress gloss boots. I have a few pairs of the huntress boots because they have extra calf space. That feature alone has kept me a loyal customer. Very sleek and sexy boots for all type of weather. You can dress them up with a skirt and fur vest or throw on a pair of blue jeans. I wear a size nine shoe but in these boots I recommend getting a size down.

First thing, this is my second Hunter boot purchase. The first an epic fail, with the Originals. I wear a women's 12 normally and got the men's originals thinking the calf would fit...um, no! I got the huntress in a size 11 and it is perfect! I never thought the 11 would fit me and it does. The calf is perfect with about 2 fingers worth of space, my jeggings fit perfectly! My only complaint or difference from the Original is the Huntress is shorter and hits at the widest part of calves where as the Originals were taller (but literally cut off my circulation!) I wish they made the huntress a bit taller. For reference I'm 5'7". Still the Huntress is the better buy! Wish I would've gotten them long ago!

These boots are awesome! I wear a size 7 in athletic shoes so I originally ordered a size 7 in these but once they came in I realized I wanted more toe room so I exchanged for a size 8 and they fit great! I have bigger calves so these Huntress boots provide plenty of room. Zappos was extremely helpful with the exchange. I called them on a Tuesday to exchange for a size 8 and they came THE VERY NEXT DAY. I returned the size 7 and I am very happy with the customer service Zappos provided!

Bought the red size 7 for 17 year old daughter. Petite 5'1. The color was is really pretty red and the height was perfect. These are roomier in the footbed than the traditional Hunters (I have choc brown in original). We should have gone down a size but kept them because my daughter wanted to wear them the day they arrived. She just wears thick socks.

Love these boots! I went a size smaller - usually wear 10, got size 9 and they fit perfectly with a thin sock. Very comfy!

I found my favorite rain and cold weather boots. Let me say that winter sucks for thick calved girls. Pulling something on over hammy legs usually means sitting down, pulling, and having a tiny bit of room for pants. I absolutely love that I can effortlessly step into and out of these boots and they pair well with leggings or jeans. I rarely get cold, but I wanted something I could trudge around in for Chicago winters. With some moderate heavy socks, these were perfect. I wish that they came with the shine spray as mine got dull very quickly, but I adored the gloss color when they first came home. They are great for rain, walking dogs, yard work, dog park, and look cute with leggings, finally boots for the truly thick calved! I am usually a 7½ in boots, ordered a 7, there is plenty of room for thin socks and lots of room to add layers. I am so excited that the search is over. I love these!

Love! They are cute and practical. I am short, 5'4" so the regular Hunters were to tall for my legs, these are perfect! I hope they last!

I LOVE these boots! Originally I ordered the regular Hunter boots which were just a little snug in the calf for me. I exchanged them for these. Perfect. I read the reviews that they run big but still ordered my regular size. Yes, they are a bit big, but with thick socks they work fine. I get a lot of compliments on these boots.

Comfortable, and fits my calves well! The color is very bright, but I like it. I got several compliments on them the first day I wore them.

Love these boots! I am very athletic and have large calf muscles, so the original Hunter boots did not fit, but these fit great! I had to order 1 size down for a proper fit.

I just got my Huntress boots this morning and I couldn't wait to put them on! I normally wear a 8 or 7.5 but I purchased the 7 based on other reviews and they fit perfectly. This boot is perfect for someone like me - my calves are too wide to fit comfortably in the Original boot and I'm 5'4" so they are just the right height. Bring on the rain and snow!

I am continually impressed and amazed by Zappos wonderful service! I have had several issues in sizing and manufacturing defects with these boots but each time Zappos has exceeded my expectations with customer service! So impressed.

As others have mentioned, this is the better choice for me (5'3") because, while my calves aren't super wide, the taller Hunter fit snugly and I couldn't have been able to tuck in jeans or anything other than tights or "maybe" leggings. Apart from the snugness, which is do-able, I found them a bit challenging to pull off. So, the Huntress it is!

I ordered the Original Tour and I wanted to love them because they were so stylish. BUT, they were too narrow for my calves which I don't think are overly large and too tall for my 5'3" frame. So I had to send them back. I got these and the shaft is the absolute perfect height for my short frame and the circumference was roomy enough for me to wear with skinny jeans. However, the sizing on the Huntress boots are a full size larger than normal sizing IMO. I am normally a size 8 and 8 1/2 for heels. I bought these in a 7 and there are roomy enough for me to wear with heavy socks in the winter. They are very well made, sturdy and very comfortable. They do not buckle near the ankle while walking they way they appear to in the video. I'm so happy with these boots!

I'm in love with my red boots! Wow was I surprised at the quality of these boots! First of all the rubber is heavy and well made. I must have 5 pairs of rain boots and over a period of time they either split or the color fades or the lining pulls away. I was impressed with the presentation in packing. Double boxed and boots wrapped in a cloth to protect them. I bought the Huntress in gloss red which are not the tall boots but perfect for my calf and leg. I'm only 5'3 so tall boots look funny on my legs. Not these. I tried them on with my jeans tucked in and the fit is perfect. Living in rural Connecticut we get faced with all kinds of weather. This is one time I'm looking forward to nasty weather. If you're on the fence with spending the money on Hunter boots, don't be! Worth every penny!

I am in love with these boots! I can wear them with skinny jeans and they don't feel too tight. I am more of a curvy/athletic build and they are perfect.

Zappos shipped the shoes quickly. I love the boots; they fit my wide calf. I just only wish that they were taller like the original Hunter boots.

So happy I caved and ordered these. They are perfect. True red & not too glossy. I'm a 7 (sometimes a 6.5) and I ordered a size 6 and it was perfect. They are pricey so I hope they hold up; however, as fantastic as they are even if they only last a couple seasons I'll be happy.
