I ordered this without realizing I had an identical Merrell style, which I wore last fall and wore on the first cool day here. Within an hour, my feet really ached and were not relieved until I took them off. Not sure what the problem was - they are adorable but not as comfy as other Merrells.

Very disappointing - not nearly as comfortable as the Merrell Encore Chill, which I've been wearing for years, and which these replace. The front is more narrow, the back slips, I'm sending them back, unfortunately.

I really like these shoes but they wouldn't stay on. My old Merrills had a 1.5 inch back, measuring from the sole up. Unfortunately Merrill changed the design and these have a shorter 1 inch back, measuring up from the sole. My foot would walk right out of them unless I curled my toes to keep them on and walk slow. That was a deal breaker.

This is my third pair of these exact shoes. I find the latest pair to be not as well structured nor well made as my previous pairs.

These are definitely as comfortable as everyone says, but the photo is a bit misleading. The color is more like a cranberry, not nearly as exciting as the red pictured. Because of that, I'm returning them. Sad. A pair of good red shoes are hard to find.

These are nothing like the old Merrell Encore Ice clogs. I went to a local store to try a pair on for size, and boy, I am glad I didn't order based on my previous great experience with Merrell Encore. For starters, they look just plain cheap, with fake shearling lining jammed into the shoe without being anchored to the sole. When I put a pair on, the fake fur sole wrinkled into the toe and was impossible to straighten. The fake fur lining was so thick, it made the shoe too tight to wear comfortably, even though I have narrow feet. The lining is also removable, so it does not stay in place. These must have been mass-produced in some third-world country, with no thought given to quality or fit. Very, very disappointed in Merrell for even trying to market these. I would gladly pay more for a pair made as well as my old Merrell clogs, which fit perfectly and were very comfortable, and also lasted for years.

Okay, they're super comfy the minute you put them on but then after a few days the sheepskin liner flattens to paper. The shoe heel is too high causing lack of relaxation and ankle pain. It being a clog (open heel) lets rain and mud hit the back of your heel which is ridiculous since people wear sheepskin lined shoes to be warm. And people wear fleece lined shoes barefoot. So, Merrell make the shoe cover all of the foot, make the heel lower for proper foot health, and make the liner thicker to not be cheapskates. Or charge the shoe its real value, a fraction of this price, as it is now.

I ordered these for my friends grandma who is 90+ years old, she can’t thank me enough & loves them so much! She had a pair of these from a long time ago and my friend couldn’t find them anywhere to get her a new pair. After telling me, I went to Zappos and she had them the next day! Zappos is the best cause they carry all types of shoes!

The Merrell Encore Ice is a like a blending of the original Merrell Encore and your favorite pair of fur lined slippers. They have a nice sueded upper exterior with a soft, thick, extra warm faux fur lined interior. This makes them perfect for winter. In addition, it has a rubber outsole which grips well, providing good traction. They are not a light shoe, being more like a traditional Merrell Encore than a slipper in this regard with a bit of weight to them. Except for the extra weight, it does feel almost like a slipper when you put it on. True to size. I wear a size 10 and it fits like a glove. Overall, a good shoe with good arch support.

Love these shoes, especially that I can just slip them on in cold weather with or without socks. Not the most stylish shoe, but I wear them daily in the winter, great purchase.

I absolutely live in these. I have purchased several pairs over the past six years. I get cold feet and these have real wool.

Bought these to replace a pair I had for several years. In the interim, my shoe size has increased by 1/2 size. I ordered these in the size 10 based on what current users suggested. They were spot-on! They are so comfortable and warm. I love the fact that I can slip them on easily and not have to struggle getting into a boot. I don't have to wear socks because of the cozy fleece lining They look great and I know I will have them for a long time, just like the others.

Recently, I purchased my second pair of Merrells. I couldn't resist when I saw that they were on sale. These are perfect for running errands and walking the dogs during the cold winter New England weather. I don't use them to shovel or walk in deep snow. They are warm, comfortable, and resilient with minimal care. My first pair lasted several years and looked as good in year 3 as they did when purchased. I finally retired my original pair only after our family dog decided she liked them as much as I did!

These shoes make your feet feel like they are being snuggled by kittens. They are so comfortable.

Love these shoes. Just threw away a similar pair after 10 years. They just started looking old. These are sooo comfortable.

These shoes are the best for comfort I have ever had. I have a high arch and plantar fasciitis at this time and these shoes are helping me be able to stay on the go. They last much longer than shoes with memory foam and other types of footbeds. They are my go to shoes when I have been out and come home. Merrell shoes fit true to size and hug your foot for comfort!!!! You will not regret this purchase.

So warm and perfect for wearing around the house, especially if you have to go outside to get the mail or for a quick trip to the store and you don't feel like putting on socks. These are great.
