These shoes are amazing! I'm on my second pair because I wore the first pair out. My favorite for cold days when I'm out walking my dogs and want my feet to stay warm. Socks are optional and not necessary if you're in a hurry to dash out the door. Very comfortable, too. I have a history of foot issues due to running and this shoe gives moderate support. Zappos is the best for super fast delivery!!

These are my second pair of encore but my first with the ice lining. I ordered a half size bigger so I could still wear with socks and they fit well. I was originally looking for a pair to replace my old encores but I couldn't find them so I decided to try these with the lining and I'm glad I did.

These are like heaven on your feet. I wanted something to slip on to go the the grocery store and these fit the bill perfectly. They fit my narrow feet but don't have the greatest arch support for my very high arches. I actually wear these like slippers.

I love, love, love this pair of clogs. In general I pretty much love everything Merrell and am always confident when I order Merrell. This pair of clogs are so comfortable I was out doing errands one day and I didn't come home with a aching back or aching feet. And, they kept my feet warm too. I would definitely recommend the Encore Ice!!!

I love shoes that arrive at my doorstep, come out of the box for a quick try-on and hours later are still on my happy feet. These are those shoes!! I need shoes with a roomy toebox & my feet feel snug & cradled but not cramped in these. They are so warm too. Very pleased!!

I bought these in Dec 2015 and again in Dec 2016. I wear mules all year long and these are my winter mules. I wear them every day so I wanted to get another pair so I don't wear the same pair every day. They are warm and comfy and do well in the snow. The dye does seem to bleed some. I wear them without socks and do notice a tinge of black on my feet but it obviously did not stop me from buying another pair. They are light weight. If I wanted to wear socks with them they would need to be thin. A thick winter sock would not work for me. I usually wear an 8 and these are an 8. When I wear Ryka mule gym shoes I wear an 8.5 so I am never sure what size to buy in this style. The foot bed comes out so you can wash that. If I had the extra money (or they went on sale) I would get the stone color as well.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I own. And, they are toasty warm on cold winter days.. They are the second pair I have. I am glad I bought these black ones,

I've bought this shoe several times in the past and have worn them until they wore out, which took a long time. I use them for house slippers because they are warm and comfortable. My only complaint is that they are very clunky looking, so personally I would not wear them out and about.

My feet are finally warm!! I was looking for a warm, insulated *shoe* (not boot) that I could wear around the office during the winter to keep my feet from freezing. It was surprisingly hard to find! In fact, these were the only shoes I could find that fit the bill. Fortunately, I am very happy with them. They are comfortable, supportive, and WARM! My toes are no longer frozen all day, every day at work. I do wish that they had a full-height back (so that my sock heels didn't show) and that they didn't have the Merrell logo on the front. Both of those features detract from their appearance, in my opinion, so I docked them a point under "Style". But I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for warm winter shoes. Note: I do not wear these outside (I leave them in my office and only wear them there), so I cannot comment on their warmth or durability outdoors.

I have a true size 6.5M foot and have actually bought these same shoes before. This was a disappointment.

This is my second pair of this shoe, replacing the pair I have had for several years. I was so happy to be able to locate them online. It arrived promptly and correctly, just in time for our cold weather. I am a very satisfied customer.

Just had to finally write a review of these wonderful shoes. My pair is probably 10 yrs old, and living in a beach community in So Calif, did not use them often. However, we just moved to central Colorado and snow is on the ground. I can't tell you happy I am that I have these---I have worn them every day, with or without socks, on icy surfaces, in 10 degree weather and even a couple inches of snow. (much more than that comes into the heel part of the shoe) They are warm and cozy and have always fit perfectly. Trying to think of an excuse to buy another pair in another color...

You want these clogs in cold weather - soft warm cozy fur hugging your feet, keeping them toasty when it's chill-to-the-bone frigid...so easy and convenient to slip on, and arch support that gives you the o. m. g. heavenly experience, perfect in every way - forgetting you have them on. I've gifted these twice, and my daughter's were equally impressed. I've personally worn three pairs over a fifteen year time period. They're one of those winter staples that wear well, and never disappoint.

These are so great. This is my 5th pair of these Merrells - slip right into them, comfy and durable. Can't miss with these!!

I love these shoes so much that every year I buy myself a new pair. Since they're so durable, I now have pairs that are designated for dog-walking, for taking out the garbage, and for wearing around the house! I have a motion disorder, and winter sidewalks in Buffalo aren't known for their maneuverability, but I never have trouble when I'm wearing these. Plus, they're so warm I don't always wear socks! If I could only own one pair of shoes (nightmare fodder!), it'd be these!

I got these shoes to replace some similar shoes that I have worn through the past 5 or so Minnesota winters! I love these new shoes! They are quite furry inside so I only wear them when it is really cold and snowy. That furry lining makes them very snug but I expected that from previous reviews. I expect they will stretch a little with time but I truly only notice the fit when I first put them on. After a few steps they are perfectly comfortable!

Every year I end up getting a new pair of these. I always pause because they are a little expensive as I mainly use them to take the dog out but they are so warm and comfortable. You can basically wear these out in any weather because the sole is thick so rain will not soak your socks. I truely recommend these.

Very comfortable and super warm. Perfect for quick walks with the dog. These are my second pair of Merrell mules and it took me forever to finally replace my first pair because I loved them so much and didn't want to give them up.

These are the most comfortable shoes for winter. Easy to slip on and go. I could live in them.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever. I have foot and back problems that normally get worse the longer I have a shoe on but I wore these all day and had no back or foot problem at all . The lining is very cozy and warm. I would highly recommend them.

This is my favorite "snuggle down" shoe. When it's cold out, this is the shoe I wear. They stay at the door in ready for a quick or alll day excursion. And better yet, no socks required. They feel a half size smaller at first because of the lining. Quickly they mold to the shape of your feet.

I usually wear a size 6 but in these I need a 5.5. Really comfortable and replacement insoles are available from Merrell.
