I live in a rural area of a state with a sparse population. I was surprised and impressed with the speed of the delivery of the items I ordered.

I have horrible arches, the Beast comes recommended from foot doc. I will never buy anything but these!

Second pair for my son. He doesn't run, but his feet are completely flat and these give him lots of support. Best shoes we've found.

So I'm overweight and have feet flat enough to make a suction cup noise on tile. Naturally I walk like a duck and my knees and back have been paying for it since I was in my 20's. I wanted to go the minimalist route, and really liked the Brooks collection until I had to do 3 afternoons in a row walking around downtown on a trip. I wore those puppies out, between the heat, the walking and my weight. So I finally decided I would go with the Beast. It has been recommended to me so often I lost count, but I never felt right when trying it on. It felt like I had a hoof instead of a foot. But I bought them anyway, hoping they would be worth it. Ya know, I think I'd pay twice as much a month later. These shoes are excellent. They help my pronation enough that I find when walking without them I'm doing it right. My non-existent arches are helped greatly, and I don't have pain walking anymore. I use these for daily walking and wear them to the weekly Football game (tailgating in Austin heat can wear your feet out). The Beast has been the best pair of shoes I've bought in years. I never come home aching anymore and I think I've finally found the shoe I'll wear till they stop making them.

I bought these shoes to wear as my daily wear work shoes (I work indoors and outdoors on varied terrain). They were very comfortable right out of the box. My ankles are rather weak and my arches are flat but they have excellent support. The midsole is rather large and the shoe could be lighter, but the support it provides is well worth it. I'm very happy with this shoe.

Ok, so Brooks knows what it's doing! Great feel, very supportive and for a big guy, this is the shoe! It provides everything advertised and then some.

I have used Brooks "The Beast" for the past six years. In my opinion there is not a better shoe on the market. The only problem I've had is I take 9 1/2 medium in a shoe but in this I have to take 11 1/2 double EE. Again that is my situation. Also because of my situation I have to change "The Beast" every three to four months...not because of the shoe but my situation. I hope they always keep making this style.

I buy these regularly for my husband who pronates severely. A running store employee suggest that he try these about 5 years ago, and we've been buying them ever since. He is really hard on running shoes and these last him about a year (he runs a lot). We will always buy them from Zappos since the service is so quick and the price is about the same in retail stores. Also, free shipping is a bonus!

I've been running forever and now in my early 60's; tried them all at one point or another; being 6'2 and 210LB, I need a well cushioned stability shoes for my 6-day week, 20+ mile runs. and the Beast is all that I could wish for - by far the best shoe (for me, at least).

One of the best Control Shoes for over pronation (ankles rolling inward). I am 6'3, 205 lbs and these support my weight very well with good padding. I am on my 6th pair of Beasts and will use no other shoe for outside running.

I am a big man and it is quite challenging to find shoes that not only fit but are comfortable to wear all day. I wear a 12½/4E and I am on my feel pretty much eight hours a day. I was a bit leary of purchasing shoes without trying them on first but I figured I would take advantage of the free return shipping if things did not work out. I got the shoes in one day and these are absolutely the best shoes that I have ever had on my feet! It felt like I was walking on a soft blanket all day. The width is exact and the arch support is like it was a made to order! I am used to coming home and massaging or soaking my feet regularly but tonight my feet feel like they are ready for another eight hours! I am going to purchase another pair in the second color. These are amazing shoes!

I'm 240lbs and purchased a Size 14 2E. These shoes were exactly what I needed, wide enough with great support. Running an average of 3x a week, 10-12 miles weekly.

I have wide feet and find it hard to find good shoes that fit as well as feel comfortable. These shoes fit both criteria excellently. Highly recommend these shoes to those who are in the same boat.

These shoes are great! They feel better than my last Brooks which I did not think possible. I am flat footed and need the arch support and these are awesome. I could not find them anywhere. Thanks for having them and thanks for fast shipping! They look good too. I do not know of any brand to compare to the Brooks, that is why I spent forever online to find them. I did have some trouble finding them on the site.

I purchased theses shoes for additional support. They delivered the arch support as advertised and stabilized the position of my feet.

I had been a Saucony runner for many years, and was forced into buying the Brooks Beast when my Sauconys began to fail me. I am now on my 4th pair (not including another pair I purchased for my son), and I've never looked back. These are probably the most well cushioned shoes I've ever run in, and I find them extremely comfortable and easy on my aging knees.

These are a gift for a friend who has been wearing them for years and always wants exactly the same new ones. They must be good.

Best wide foot pressure relief shoe. Good long distances shoe. Very stable platform.

This shoe gives you tremendous support for your feet. The flex is forward; not side to side. I have several friends who are podiatrists and this is the brand they recommended to their patients. I do a lot of walking and at the end of the day, my feet feel great. I'm 75 years old and a lot of shoes don't feel great; these do.

I am the type who tries on 15 pairs of shoes in the store so paying this much sight unseen was crazy for me. But the shoes fit perfectly and my sore rubbed toe caused by pronating was gone in three days.

For anyone with wide feet, the 4E shoes have plenty of width, where for other manufacturers I have to go up to a 6E for a comfortable fit. They have lots of stability for jogging, especially in the heel area. This is my second pair, first pair last me a year.
