I am 240lbs, size 14 2E and an overpronator. These shoes have allowed me to run distances greater than 5 miles without discomfort. If you're a big dude, this is your running shoe. Period.

These are my Plantars Faciitis cure. I spent thousands on Podiatrists, custom orthotics, sports medicine Docs, about 20 different pairs of running shoes, ect. I used to barely be able to walk in the morning and had excruciating pain all day. Finally I tried the Beasts after reading some reviews and 1 1/2 months later I had absolutely no pain. Funny thing is, I have high arches and all the other doctor recommended remedies involve arch support. i dont believe these have alot of arch support and they are for flat feet, but the motion control aspect was the perfect fit for my injury. Your mileage may vary but I just wanted to put this out there in case it helps somebody.

When I first tried on the Beasts they felt a little snug. I run 1-3 miles a day and am truly happy that they now feel great. My feet are narrow and completely flat.

Third pair of running shoea of the hundreds I have bought. Best fitting, most comfortable, longest lasting of them all. Beast's Rock... My favorite and with excellent Zappos service and delivery.

This is my fourth pair of the Brooks Beast. I am not a runner, but walk 4+ miles a day and they give me great support. Plus Zappos has great pricing on these.

I am 6'4" and weigh 350 and these are the best damn shoe I have ever found. I have a problem with breaking over my shoes so it feels like walking on the sides of my feet. These shoes don't do that. Also wear a 16 EW which is hard to find. This shoe is true to size, width and excellent arch support. Buy 'em!

Absolutely love these shoes! Rapid delivery. Product exactly as specified. I feel that these are the premier motion control shoes. Brooks has done a lot too to improve the style.

Got these for my son whose feet pronate a lot. He loves them for every day and has run on the treadmill with them, says he can feel a difference in them from his older pair of Beasts.

I am now on my third pair of Brooks Beast shoes. They are by far the best walking shoe I have ever owned. I am 72 years old, and they work for me; our son is 47 years old, and they work for him. Very comfortable and long lasting. I still have the first two pairs; one pair I use for gardening, and the other pair I keep at our cabin for trail walks. If you are considering this shoe, you should buy a pair. It is truly a great shoe!

Very comfortable, stable shoes. I've got around 60 miles on these over all types of terrain and have not regretted them for one step of it! I'm a big guy (6'2" 255#) and go through shoes fairly quickly. These seem better built and a bit tougher than my last pair of Saucony's.

So far, so good! I ordered the extra wide and ordered a full size larger than I normally do and have been well rewarded with a super comfortable well fitting shoe. I have high insteps and this shoe accommodates them well. I run about 5 miles a day.

Purchased these shoes because I have pronated feet and they are great so far. The soles started to peel off in my first pair after couple months but hats off the the excellent Zappos service they replaced the shoes instantly. I would recommend these shoes for people who has pronated (flat) feet and again Zappos is best.

I just started running and as far as I was concerned, shoes were just shoes. A friend noticed my running style and pointed out my overpronation. Needless to say she recommended Brooks Beast and they are the best investment I've made. Great support and comfort. I'm running longer distances without pain or discomfort around my ankles and shins.

My orthopedist recommended these as a way to help heal plantar fasciitis. I noticed significant improvement after a week or so of wearing the Beast. Would certainly buy another pair.

Very comfortable with excellent support and stability. I typically wear a size 12 but always need a size 13 for Brooks shoes. The Brooks Adrenaline is my top pick for overall comfort but the Brooks Beast offers better support and stability - only sacrificing a little for general comfort.

GET THESE SHOES. This is the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. Because of my job I'm on my feet all day and I go through a lot of shoes. Over the past ten years I have bought at least ten pairs of these shoes. Nothing else compares to the comfort and durability of these shoes. Oh, by the way Zappos rocks.

Great shoe, great arch support. If you use this shoe and a regular shoe there is such a a big difference in the support. This is my 4th pair of beasts. The only problem I've ever had is the sole came off a little bit on my third pair, but it was before 90 days and I was able to return them due to Zappos great return policy. Definitely buy!

I began running in july, so I am new to running.trying to get back into shape and loose about 30 lbs. When I first started I was having alot of tightness in my calfs even after stretching.After researching for awhile I decided to try this shoe. it was recomended for larger men.I now am much more comfortable when I run and I am still running, losing weight and feeling better. I would definitely recommend the shoes for large people like me.

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Beast shoes, so I'm a fan. I have pronation problems and need the stability that they offer. Zappos service has always been excellent. I'm a Zappos fan, too. I've had to make returns on other orders in the past and Zappos makes this as painless as possible.

I bought these for my son. He started his first job, where he is on his feet for 9 hours at a time. Before receiving these shoes, he could barely walk when he got home, now his feet are doing so much better. Night and day difference...these shoes are great.
