Last July I fell over a small root at the lake rupturing my Tibial Tendon. I am a woman and have experienced severe pain before but nothing like this tendon injury. I suffered for 6 plus months until last Saturday when I went to town and bought a pair of mens 9 Beast and as soon as I put the Beast on I was instantly out of pain. I was shocked, I love the Beast. I forgot to mention I had been seeing a foot doctor, and also bought several different insoles. The Beast did not even need new insoles to take me out of pain. I am so thankful, just would like to have some girly looking ones though, but who cares, now I have my life back. Thanks to the Beast.

My husband loves these shoes! He is tall and muscular and is in the Army so he has nightly workouts and these hold up wonderfully! He never complains about any pain as he does with other shoes!

Have been a long time New Balance (NB) user, but NB's latest redesign (1123 to 1540) left me cold. During some research, I discovered Brooks and the "Beast." I'm a large guy with problem feet (bunions and heel spurs). I find the Beast to be a great shoe for my needs. I wear orthotic inserts in some shoes, but the Beast is so good, I can get away wearing them without the inserts. I did find that my normal size (11 4E) were a little tight, so I went up a half size (11 1/2 4E).

I am on my second pair of Brooks Beasts. I love them. I started running in 2011 and have a hard time finding running shoes in my size, 16EEEE. When I first put these shoes on I fell in love with them. It was like walking on air. These are the best shoes that I have ever had.

I've purchased several revisions of this shoe over the last few years. They are all hardy and provide excellent support. I have severe pronation that destroys most running shoes in just a few wearings. The last couple of years, the mesh top seems to be sturdier. I wore holes at the pinky toe in older editions. They would appear to hold up well for running, though I only use these shoes for everyday wear.

My feet are long, wide in the top half but narrow in the bottom half, with a very high instep. They are hard to fit and most shoes that I try get rejected immediately for pinching or rubbing, too big, too small, not enough support, etc. The Brooks Beast felt so nice and comfortable right out of the box. You can feel the thickness under your foot and they look good too. Another thing I like is that the tongue stays straight while working out instead of sliding off to the side. My previous athletic shoes were also Brooks in a different model and they lasted a long time, so I'm sold on their longevity. Thank you Zappos for making them available in the hard-to-find 4E width.

I have been wearing Brooks Addictions for about 15 years. I am happy to report that the Beast does provide the same support as the Addiction and is much lighter.

My 24 year old son says these are the best sneakers he has ever owned. He is hooked. He says they are very comfortable and will continue looking forward to purchasing more in the near future.

I bought a pair of size 12 Beasts. I weigh 165 pounds, have flat feet and skinny ankles. It took me several days to get through the stiffness of the shoes but now they are fine and I will buy another pair. I took a chance, thinking the shoes were only for heavy footed runners.

I bought these for my boyfriend because they said they had good support and he loved them. Unfortunately, so did someone else. While packing his car for a trip, someone saw them and snagged them. Didn't bother taking the PS3 right next to them. That's how great they look! Ha!

My product came really fast, and the quality was everything they said it was. I really felt comfortable with dealing with Zappo

Great fitting shoe! I get lots of comments about how they look. All good! Only downside...I wish Zappos had a 5E width. Can't really speak to the arch support because I use custom insoles.

Finally found a pair of shoes I can walk in all day. Went to Disneyland for 4 days, with my off the shelf orthotics installed these shoes let me walk all day. No pain from my achilles tendinitis!

I've worn Beasts as my everyday shoes for about 20 years, from back when the boxes looked like crates for wild animals. I've tried some other brands (even other Brooks models) but nothing is as good as the Beast. I have a very narrow heel and only the Beast gives me a good fit and great support. Hang the cost, I love 'em.

Bought these for my father (70 year old diabetic) and he loves them. He put them on right out of the box and went for a walk, came back with no complaints. He said they were very comfortable. He's actually started talking longer walks now.

I buy these for my father in law twice a year. He walks with canes and finds these sneakers to be the best. He needs extra wide, which can be hard to find, so these are great.

Service was great, I got my shoes in 3 days, a 1st. I have bad feet and use orthodics shoe inserts. I have used beasts for years and they give me the most comfort.

This is an amazing shoe for big guys. The latest pair I've ordered is 13th pair over many years. They fit great right out of the box every time!

Zappos delivered very quickly, exactly as ordered. I wear an unusual size and have felt that the Brooks Beasts which I bought locally had aged enough on the shelf to lose some of their cushioning. The pair that Zappos sent did seem more cushiony than the ones that I had been buying. I marked "no arch" support because I wear orthotics and therefore cannot really judge the arch support of these shoes.

This is my fourth pair of Brooks Beast, and it won't be my last. They were originally recommended by a podiatrist - and runner - who advised that the arch support and firm sole would ease the little foot and ankle aches and pains from running and walking. I pronate and do 20 miles a week of power walking (I no longer run). These wear well for almost one year before needing to be replaced. Worth the money.

Purchase these sneakers for my son because his foot doctor recommended them and they are trully great shoes. They have helped my son's feet feel better and problems are getting better each day because of these sneakers.

I got these at the recommendation of my Podiatrist. Had major issues and was in a cast for 8 weeks. These are like walking on air. The support is so great. Really holds your foot in the proper place.

Shoes came very fast, fit size was right on and the shoes feel great. Have bought the beasts before and love there durability. I am a big guy and wear out other shoes very quickly. These shoes last a long time and are very comfortable.

These shoes are my survival. I have severely flat feet and a distorted right foot that protrudes sideways where the arch should be. I have tried custom orthodics. These are better. They support my foot in the proper position, and with them I can stand or walk long distances without pain. Nothing even comes close. I only wish they were made in a non running shoe style. Brooks would make a fortune. They are that good.
