I love these boots! I own two pairs and just purchased a third. They are super comfortable, durable, functional, and fashionable. These are my go to boots and I often get compliments especially when I wear the Cathay Spice color, which is my favorite. These boots are perfect for the snow and have great traction (another reviewer talked about them feeling slippery on a carpet, but I don't find them to be slippery at all on a carpet or on snow and ice). I also find them to be warm and I typically go without socks, which I know is not for everyone but it works for me. I am a 7 and find them true to size (when I do wear socks with them, I wear a thin cotton pair). They are great when traveling to the mountains because they are functional in the snow but aren't too casual or snow-boot looking that I can wear them to dinner too. Just love these!

Favorite boots! This is the second pair I am ordering as I'm coming to a close on my 2nd winter wearing my first pair. They have gotten tons of use!! Now at the end of two years, the ankles are starting to wrinkle just a bit so I figured I'd take advantage of the sale price and buy them now. I buy my usual size, the rubber sole makes them perfect for a winter like this one with constant ice and snow on the ground- they are not snow boots, but at least going to dinner I can look stylish and not worrying about slip sliding away. I receive compliments EVERYWHERE! I actually held up the TSA security line at the airport when agents and travelers were admiring them.

Beautiful and so comfy. Love these. My only complaint is that even with the buckles, they really aren't adjustable because it makes the leather bulge funny if tightened. So, they will be loose on my calves. No big deal.

These boots are really comfortable to wear around. They do run half a size small so if you wear a size 8.5 you definitely need to get a 9. I wouldn't wear them if you're walking up and down icy hills - they don't have the best traction. They are great for walking around flat areas, however.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and was extremely happy with these boots. They are a great height and fit perfectly. I bought them for a 3 week trip to Italy during winter. It was supposed to rain a lot and snow so I wanted warm, waterproof shoes that still looked stylish so I didn't need to bring another pair to wear out. They were just right and I wore them everyday for 3 weeks, walking all over without any pain or discomfort. Awesome!

I've had these for a few weeks now, and have really enjoyed them. I was looking for a flatter boot that would be practical in the Maine winter, yet also stylish. This is a great choice. It is very comfortable and feels sturdy; everything is of great quality. The first day I wore them, the zipper gapped open at the bottom, but I just re-zipped it and it hasn't happened again (maybe they just needed to break in?).

These boots are very comfortable and look great but they are not good in snow or on slick ground. I wish I had noticed the smooth soles before wearing them outside because I would have (very reluctantly) returned them. If snow/ice is not an issue where you live, these are cute, comfortable, true to size, and well priced. Unfortunately, as a Coloradan who sees a lot of snow, I now have to save up for a new pair of boots with some sort of traction.

These seemed to have an odd fit. I felt like they were wide enough but kind of bumped my front toes. I'd say they are slightly wide but slightly short. The shaft seemed good on my athletic calves, but they just didn't work overall. Plus, I found the support lacking. if I'm going to buy Keens and not some more elegant, fashiony brand, I want to feel really comfortable. If not, I'll suck it up with a flat sole.

These are fabulous. I have been wearing these for three seasons now and they are my go to boots. The buckles are substantial, so be careful when you cross your legs when wearing tights. They fit right on. They feel like a dream.

I have had these boots for 2-3 years now. After that long I have had one zipper replaced, and the lining is worn down, but they still look great. Because they are old, they have stretched out a bit and are a little bit loose now so I try to wear thicker socks. I purchased Keen because I knew they care about comfort, not just style. I love these boots and will hopefully get another pair for next fall.

Love, love, love these! Great support and style. They fit my calves, I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt. I've had them for over a year now and they still look and feel fantastic.

I loved the foot bed of these boots - it was perfect...until I started to zip them up. I felt like my calf was getting squeezed in a juicer. Unfortunately, these are going back.

I absolutely love this boot and have worn them almost every day since receiving them. I usually wear an 8.5 and had to go up a size in this boot but Zappos makes exchanges so easy that I didn't mind. They are stylish, comfortable, and rugged enough to wear in the harsh New England weather.

I have flat feet with fallen arches. This leads to back problems and other issues. I finally treated my feet to a comfortable riding boot. All I love these boots! I am a Keen fan to begin with and keen boots did not disappoint. Real leather is stiff at first so I'm still breaking them in. Adjustable straps in calves a plus.

Great boot but... Not for me. I have wide, flat feet with a high instep. For me, the heel felt loose while it felt tight across the top. The sole felt really, really stiff and I wasn't sure it was going to soften at all. It made me wonder if that's why some experienced the sole splitting. I didn't experience the slippery sole as others had mentioned. I even did a little risky business slide to see if I'd fall and I didn't! I did not test them outside since the fit was so wonky for me I knew I wasn't going to keep them. Calf circumference was 15 1/4 inches around in size 8.5. I have 15 inch calves and I was able to zip them over knee high wool socks and skinny jeans. I am 5'2" and they came up to the top of my shin . They really are nice looking boots but for the money I needed them to be love at first zip. The weren't. :(

I bought these boots because I already owned the same pair in black and love them! They keep my feet dry and look fantastic. I was specifically looking for a tall boot without a heel that was stylish and practical. I do use a leather conditioner on both pairs to keep the leather in good condition.

I LOVE my Baby Berns. I have worn them for three years, they are so warm and comfortable, and I have never SLIPPED IN THEM. It is wonderful to have warm feet in this weather. Definitely recommend these boots!

I've been wearing the same Ugg boots for 15 years because i haven't been able to find another boot that was the least bit comfortable. The minute I put on the Keen boots I knew I had found a friend for life. I could walk for miles in these boots! Love them.

These boots are comfy, durable and stylish. i bought them a month and a half ago when the snow started and have worn them almost everyday since then. I have wide calves and they just barely zipped when I first put them on, but since then, they have stretched just enough to accommodate my calves and skinny jeans. Expensive but worth it.

Perfect boot for normal-sized calves. Though they are adjustable, I wouldn't recommend it. I tried to tighten up the straps a bit, but then they didn't lay flat. I have normal calves, I would say. There is plenty of room to tuck in jeans and still be comfortable. These are super-comfortable and very cute. Many compliments every time I wear them. I also have rather wide, flat feet and these feel great.

These boots are wonderful. I had been searching for a pair of boots in this style for a long time! I can wear them all day in absolute comfort. I love the fit on my calf and the way they fit through the ankle.

This boot is fantastic! It does feel a bit tight at first, but wearing socks the first couple of times to stretch them out really helped. I made the mistake of wearing tights with them the first time and I did get a blister but no problems since I wore them with socks a couple of times.

I love these boots. I have athletic calves and a wide foot. They are so comfortable and I get lots of compliments on them. I have had such good luck with Keen shoes that I bought both the black and brown color in this boot. the brown is my favorite color but the black is great too.

I've looked for just the right boots for 2 years now. I wanted something comfortable, yet fashionable. I'm 5'2" with 15" calf circumfrence. Not many boots that will fit the bill. Didn't want high heels or lots of fancy buckles, etc. These boots fit the bill. Comfortable, fashionable and actually fit me! I bought a size up (5.5) thinking they ran small. Nope. Sent them back for a size 5 and fit perfectly. At first they were a little tight on my claves, but they have the insert which allow them to stretch. Now they're not too tight nor do they sag. Wish it were colder where I live so I could were them all the time. They're that comfortable. Great with a short skirt or dress. And of course, Zappos is great to work with. Never a problem. Get them quick, return for free when needed.
