Keen makes the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and these don't disappoint!

These are very comfy shoes, but they have a significant design flaw: the elastic that holds the strap in place was completely shot after a couple of months of wear, making the shoes too loose to walk in. Luckily, my local shoe-repair place is replacing the elastics with leather, but they told me the buckle and the shoe both put too much of a strain on the elastic. I'm surprised the designers of this model didn't take that into consideration. So, if you don't mind paying to replace the shoddy elastic, this is quite a nice shoe; I especially like the wide toe box (Keens are practically the only brand that doesn't pinch my toes).

I had purchased these for a 2.5 week trip to Europe. They were very comfortable and I'm confident my feet would have been fine, but I felt silly with the big black "duck bill" in the front of the shoe. I already have large feet (size 10), and the black toe seemed to emphasize that. I'm assuming the black Mary Janes wouldn't look as silly. The red color seemed a lot more red than what is pictured on screen.

Love the arch support. Uncomfortable for two days but then just dreamy. I wear them to work and inside the house. I had to order another pair, one for work and one for play. Thanks Keen!

These comfortable and cute shoes look great with dresses, slacks, and jeans. I wear them frequently to my semi-casual workplace and feel they're entirely appropriate. Size, my other two pairs of Keen shoes (Newport H2 and Katie strap sandal) both fit perfectly in size 8, which is true of the Toyah MJ as well. Comfort: I wore them for a week straight just after receiving them and did get some blisters, but nothing terrible; now they are perfectly comfortable. Some reviews indicated excellent arch support but I disagree; the support is good, but definitely not great. I had to supplement with some gel arch supports from the drugstore, which worked well. Overall, I'm delighted with these shoes.

I've become very attached to these shoes as I find the color (gargoyle) goes with just about everything I own. The style is nice and the fit runs true to size which isn't always the case for me when it comes to Keen. The arch support is excellent and I can wear them for extended periods of time. I would like to see this kind of support in all shoes. I don't need my orthotics for these shoes. They are my current favorite pair but with summer coming quickly, I will be looking for some supportive Keen sandals.

Even though I usually wear a 7 1/2 in Keens, my usual size 7 was plenty big in this style. I like these shoes generally - they are reasonably comfortable, but they have to go back as they press down on top of my biggest toes. If you have low profile toes (apparently I don't), these could be very comfortable, cute (though typically Keen clunky) walking shoes for you.

These shoes are awesome! They're cute, and they're comfy to walk across campus in. And they don't look like old lady shoes. Best shoes I've had in a while.

I love the Keen brand, but find all of them run about 1/2 size small on me. So I usually wear an 8 and I order 8.5 in the Keens. I was looking for a nice gray shoe and the Toyah is perfect. Very comfortable, and I am a sucker for a MaryJane style. These are great. I own about 8 pairs of Keens. Love them all.

I ordered these shoes and found them to be made well. Seemed true to size and very comfortable, good arch support too. Loved the color!

I like these shoes a lot. I needed to order a half size larger and they fit nicely.

These shoes would probably be good for anyone who isn't broad around the ball of the foot. The design is flat across the top though and digs into the top of my foot. It's sad because everything else about the shoe is made for foot-shaped feet.

These shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. I wear a size 11.5 and size 11 fit just fine. They seem to have a good arch support.

These shoes have a ridiculously wide toe box. Looks manly and no longer feminine. I admit they are comfy, but my feet look like giant boats. Returning them.

I bought these shoes because I have problems with my ankles and feet. The shoes are very comfy, great heel support. Hit my toe on my desk and didn't feel a thing. I can wear these all day and my feet don't tire.

A nice comfortable shoe, but far too wide in the heel for me. Even after ordering a half size down and even with the strap, I was walking out of the heels. I love Keen's closed toe shoes, but for some reason the more open varieties don't work for me. The search for shoes that work with wide toes/average heels continues.

I have this shoe. I love the look and feel on my feet, but my arthritic knees hurt much worse when I wear them. I keep putting them on though because they are so cute.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! That's not an exaggeration! I got these for Christmas 3 years ago & I honestly wear nothing else! At the time I was having very serious medical (walking) issues...these shoes were a blessing for me. I have always gone barefooted in the house...now if I don't have these shoes on my feet hurt!

Keen shoes and sandals are an absolute favorite of mine. The MJ is great - true to size, very comfortable; have received a lot of compliments on the style. Would definitely buy another pair.

I had high hopes based on all the positive reviews, but these shoes did not fit me well. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size smaller than my other Keen shoes because these run more true to your regular shoe size than other Keens. The length was fine and I like a wide toe box, but the heel area was way too wide and was slipping up and down even with socks on. The big problem was that the top of the shoe cut across my big toe right where the toe is sensitive from a mild bunion. They were also stiff and did not have enough cushioning for someone who has had extensive foot surgery. I also thought these shoes were a bit more clownish looking in person than on the website -- not the European travel shoe I wanted. I love my Keen sandals but these shoes had to go right back. Thanks to Zappos, as always, for letting me try so many different shoes for my very picky feet! Your service is tops!

These shoes are so comfortable for my wide feet. I am usually an 8 wide, and I got the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I can walk in them for ages...they are really comfortable and sturdy. I bought them in Brown and in Black and wear them almost exclusively. They fit my wide feet better than other Keen's in the same size. A great choice for a wide foot!

Love these shoes! Very comfortable. I wear them all the time. I bought them in black and brown. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and I feel they are true to size. Very cute and "dressy" enough to wear to my semi-casual workplace.

Just bought these shoes because I'm going to a conference for work and needed something comfortable on my feet. So far, so good walking around the house -- width is good, plenty of room by my toes and they look really cute. I'm usually between 6 and 6.5 shoe size and I bought a 6 -- perfect.

These shoes are wonderful. They are roomy enough for socks but look great without them. I had to be talked into them, as I had not had too much luck with Keens, but now I'm a fan. They are great!

Excellent shoe, very comfortable and rainproof with plenty of room in the toebox and attractive styling. As usual with Keen, it feels short so I had to go half a size up. It's still a little short, but a full size would have made the shoe too wide. A good replacement for my Sydney II pair, which were my favorite work, shopping and errands shoe for years.
