These were too small for my foot and my calf. I am usually a 7.5 so I felt safe with an 8. I didn't love them like I thought I would from the reviews, so not exchanging, just returning. Thankful to Zappos for such great service & policies!

I bought these last winter and loved them. The style is great and I got many compliments on them. They are also are very comfortable. However, the zipper broke near the end of last season which really makes me question the quality. Given that the zipper broke after only 4 months I would not recommend purchasing these boots and expect better from something at this price point.

These run 1/2 large which was great for my size 11 foot that needed a little more room. The toe box is nice and spacious and serves my bunion well. Super comfy. Unfortunately, I am sending them back. The quality of the leather is really poor. Wrinkly and thin like cardboard. The brown color is not as pictured. Much lighter, a pinkish brown. Very disappointed with the quality.

I was excited as I put on the first boot. And then I tried to put on the second. Womp womp... My left calf measures just under 16" at its widest and my right is at 15.5". With the measurements stating 16" calf circumference on a size 8, I was optimistic that the 7 would be okay for me. I normally wear a 7.5, but ordered a half size down after reading reviews that the boot ran long. The footbed felt really comfortable for the boot I had on a few minutes, and I liked the rugged sole. The dark tan leather was beautiful and rich. Also, the ankle wasn't too baggy, and most boots with a wider calf have an incredibly baggy ankle. Wish these would've worked out. I'm tempted to exchange for a 7.5 and see if there's an extra 1/4".

Bought these boots 4 months ago. Loved the soft leather and comfortable sole, but BOTH heels have come unglued. It was a fairly simple fix with some apoxy, but I feel like this shouldn't happen with boots at this price that are not that old. If you purchase them, have glue/apoxy on hand!

First, I love Born shoes and boots. I love the classic look and fit. I purchased these boots from a different retailer. When I received I was very disappointed. I wear a size 8.5. The boots were too big in the feet and also in the calves. I obviously could have tried a size smaller. However, these boots look great on-line, but very disappointing in person. They do not have the classic Born look. The look is that of any other black knee boot. Your would never know they are Born. For these reasons, I will be returning my boots.

Nice lines, but very soft fragile leather. Not boot material. Have worn twice and not even in bad weather and are already scuffed and spotted.

Sad! Leather upper. Made in China. Glued-on labels. This is not the Born I know and love. What happened to Born? I have four other pair of boots by Born that I love and have lasted for years. This is certainly not the same quality and leather of the previous boots. Higher price now and lower quality. I bought another pair of Borns this year to see if that was true with that pair too (via Garnett Hill, which I do not recommend doing, paid for shipping both ways) and it was! Low quality and higher price. Born, come back! Stop this insanity.

I love these boots but unfortunately I could not get them zipped at all. Not even past the ankle. I had to send them back. The foot part of the boot felt great. I sure wish they had wider calfs.
