Adorable! Very comfortable. The cutout in back gives the boot a little something extra. I have large calves and I can wear these with thick leggings.

Fantastic set of boots. I normally wear a 9 to 9.5 in shoes depending on the shoe and brand. I tried a 9 in these boots, perfect. My calves are moderate size, again great fit. Comfort level outstanding. I'm back online today to see if there are other colors available in this boot.

Love these boots. Looked all last year for a perfect pair. The brown is beautiful. So comfortable. I wear more like a 10.5, and the 10 fits great. My husband had to punch a couple of more holes in the strap, because I needed it a little tighter. They do scratch up because of the soft leather, but I like that look...More vintage.

One of the best purchases I've made in a while. These are well-made, stylish, and very comfortable. The leather is a great color and of excellent quality. I like that they are loose enough to be worn with skinny jeans, but aren't so wide that they look silly with dresses, skirts, or tights.

I'm in love with these boots! I have large athletic calves, yet these fit like a glove. I get compliments each time I wear these! I cannot recommend enough! Buying the brown color now!

I searched high and low for a black riding boots that I can dress up or down. I have not-quite-wide calves, but big enough that some styles wouldn't fit with my skinny jeans. Wide calf boots are too big for me. I love the back opening with the adjustable buckle. It allows me to wear the boot with tights or with jeans without the unsightly scrunch. These are extremely comfortable. The leather is soft, the foot bed is nice and wide and the sole is flexible yet provides enough padding and support for city walking.

I would concur with the other reviews in haste, I ordered these in a 9, since I generally wear a 9 in boots. After reading the reviews, I ordered an 8.5 (I need these for a wedding this weekend, so unfortunately waiting and returning was not an option). The 9 felt comfortable, but there was a great deal of extra room. The 8.5s fit perfectly. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. They look great, the leather is incredibly soft, and I've gotten loads of compliments on them. These are wonderful boots!

I am 5'2 and the boot height is fine but I must have very large calves because I can barely get these zipped up plus I am usually a 8.5 but a 9 in boots these boots in a 9 are huge I have like an 1.5 at the toe of the boot.

Super comfy. These are more casual. I work in an office that is business casual. I typically wear dresses and skirts, and this worked really well with a cute dress yesterday. But if you work in say a corporate law firm, might not be dressy enough. But perfect for me. The first time I wore these, I had on fishnet tights. I ended up walking over 2 miles that night (not counting any walking I did at the party I was at) and it rubbed against my ankle in the wrong place. I was worried. But after that, I wore socks and they were fine. I think I just needed to break in.

These were comfortable right out of the box, I was on my feet the whole day and felt great! Often I end up putting insoles or arch supports in boots/shoes, but no need with these. I normally wear 7½ or 8 and had to go down to a 7. The leather seems good, although I see what others have said about it being easily marked up. The zippers work well so far, and make it easy to put the boots on and take them off. The toe box is rounded and wide enough to wiggle my toes, which makes them look less sleek than my other boots. They are still great to wear with all but the dressiest skirts and dresses! Some boot shafts are too narrow for my calves, but these are just right. I can even wear them with jeggings. I was initially hesitant about the cut-out in the back, but it is fine and probably adds some interest to these classic boots. I appreciate the clean style without loads of buckles, ties, etc.

This is the best shoe purchase I've made in a long time. These boots are not only beautiful, they are so comfortable! I am a cosmetologist, so I'm standing all day at work. These have enough support to keep my feet happy and have nice cushy padding over that support. I'm 5'6" and these boots come to my knee. My calves are average size and there is enough room to wear a pair of thicker jeans and still have room, but I could wear nylons or tights and they wouldn't look loose or baggy either. Also, these boots don't look like comfort shoes, they are really cute! The leather is nice, the shape is beautiful. I have a feeling these will be my favorite go-to boots for years to come.

These are wonderful boots! I have a terrible time finding boots with a wide enough toebox to accommodate my forefoot. After wearing barefoot shoes for several years I can't stand anything that compresses my toes, these are the first boots I've found that provide ample room width wise without having to go up a size, which generally results in too much room length wise and something resembling the Ronald McDonald look. I'm 5 8" and 155, size 10-10.5 with fairly long legs and an average calf width. The calf on these is a little wider than average, as I can fit at least 1-2 fingers between the shaft and my leg with skinny jeans on, but it's not excessive. No painful rubbing at the ankle and almost no break-in period for these babies! Pretty decent quality and they look even better with some conditioning. Hands down best boot I've ever had.

These boots are the most beautiful and comfortable boots I own. Right out of the box they fit my feet perfectly. The leather is super soft as is the lining, and, the color(dark tan) is amazing. Alot of the reviews said that they fit wide calves well which concerned me a bit because I have skinny calves. This ended up not being an issue at all, in fact, they are quiet flattering and not "baggy" even when I'm just wearing boot socks.

I am so sad to return these boots. They are so gorgeous. But they just didn't fit my larger calves. But they are so beautiful!

Very happy with these boots. I have a wider calf but was able to make these work with skinnie jeans tucked in after letting the back adjustable buckle/strap out. Just as the other reviewers say the leather is nice and soft but they do scratch very easily. Roomy footbed also allows for wearing socks.

I love these boots. I originally ordered a size 7.5 and had to reorder a size 7-they seemed to run large. But they are super comfy, the buckle in the back makes them adjustable and the leather is very soft. A great purchase.

Absolutely loved this boot! Beautiful leather and very we'll made! It just couldn't accommodate my larger calves (16 in.) So sad to be returning them!

Love these boots. I wanted something pretty simple but with one interesting detail and these boots have a buckle near the top. Fit was true and very comfortable to wear. Great with jeans or dresses.

A great casual boot that is comfortable to wear all day. The ankle is slim so this may be an issue for some. The calf is more generous and the cut out in back makes it easy to adjust and gives comfort for sitting. The leather is a rich and soft. It is the type that scratches easily but they buff out with with conditioning cream and over time give the boots a worn patina. Not for those who like blemish free leather. My only gripe is the stitching on the back. the x stitch comes loose . Born would have done better by this boot if they had just carried the more robust top stitching through. I am on my second pair because of this and am going to have a shoe shop stitch this down for me. Zappos has been wonderful about this and sent me another pair free shipping! They are my favorite online store and I tell everyone I know about their great service! They may not be the boot for you but you can't go wrong with Zappos!

I ordered these in dark tan full grain. The boots are gorgeous, high quality. I ordered my usual size and the foot fit perfectly. Extremely comfortable foot bed. However, the calf was too snug. I have a 15 inch calf and I was barely able to get the zipper up. Very disappointed! Sadly I will have to return.

Very comfortable & warm....wore these all over France walking everywhere in December. Plenty of room to tuck in jeans (average sized calves?). These are casual boots & get a "worn" look very easy...but I absolutely love them. Put Vionic orthotics in them because I have no arches...worked great.

Very comfortable and cute, but hits several inches below my knee. I don't think this is actually a 15.5 inch shaft height. Returning and still looking for actual knee high boots!

These boots are nice with a very generous shaft. I tried a 10 and an 11. The 11 was too big but did allow an orthopedic insert for my high arches. However, there was still too much room on the end of the toe. I ordered the 10, and the length was good, but since the arch support is not great on its own. The orthopedic insert was necessary. That did not allow enough room for a good fit, so I must send them back.

Beautiful boot, but really snug through the top of my foot. Length was fine (ordered half-size smaller per recommendations in other reviews), but just too tight over arch and through leg. Nevertheless, BEAUTIFUL! Returning for a style with wider calf.
