Good arch support - I never get enough arch support for my feet and this shoe delivered. It could use some additional cushioning for longer days/walks, but otherwise this is a solid comfy shoe.

Not bad, but not great - Looks cute but definitely runs narrow. The high back also drags down my socks. Otherwise, a typical Earth shoe: comfortable; durable; likable. Not my favorite Earth shoe.

Earth solar - I typically take a 5 and 1/2 or a 6 wide, but a 5 gave me more than ample room length and width wise. I wear both stockings and cute socks in them depending on my pants. I even wore them with a long dress due to a back problem. I would prefer a buckle strap. They are extremely COMFORTABLE!

Great shoe - These shoes are very cute and very comfortable. True to both size and width. The negative heel takes a little getting used to, but not problematic at all. I can see wearing these if I had to be on my feet all day.

Super comfy, but too high of a heel in back! These were very, very comfy and had good arch support. They look good with jeans. However, I agree with other reviewers in that the back of the shoe comes up too high on the heel. It was very uncomfortable. That little flap at the back even had padding, but I don't see why it needs to be there in the first place.

Disappointing...but stars for good arch - These shoes have such potential, but in the end they really do hurt too much to walk in. The high back of the shoe is very painful (I have a narrow almost non-existent heel, and I think that is the problem). And I tried placing the heel guards in, but that shifted my foot forward in the shoe which threw off the arch alignment. Now I am a stubborn person and I am determined to make them work. I have had the backs stretched professionally, so I am hoping they will be less painful. Also they have no cushioning, so I have to place insoles in them just to make them more comfy.

Takes a while to wear them in - I am enjoying the Earth shoes, but can still wear them comfortably for only a few hours. It is taking a long while to sear them in.

Comfy, but almost clown-like for size 10 - I love these shoes!!!! They are so comfortable, and the negative heel really does improve your posture and relieve back strain. The only negative thing about these shoes (as with all Earth shoes) is the look. I have super skinny calves and ankles and wear a size 10...and they look like clown shoes. I don't care if people laugh or not though, these shoes are so comfy. I agree with another reviewer about my pants being just a bit too long now. They're also pretty roomy in the toes, but I have skinny feet. But, as far as Earth shoes get, these are probably the most stylish. P.S. Velcro - I feel the shoes are very comfortable and feel great. My only concern is the velcro on the strap. It has ruined x3 pairs of my Leggs!!! Have placed a small strip of tape on the reverse side which has helped tremendously. These are great earth shoes with the dressier Mary Jane look.

Nice Toe Box - I just received the Earth Solar shoe yesterday and wore them to work this morning. I love the large toe box on these shoes and they are very comfortable. Unfortunately, I found that they have already scuffed. I hope this does not continue to be a problem.

Really comfortable, but not all that attractive- I wear these everywhere. They're incredibly comfortable, but they're not very cute. I found that these were looser and wider than marked. My feet are a bit wider than average, so I recommend that you order it in narrow and regular just to be sure.

Super cute and comfy too- I'm really impressed with this shoe. It took a couple of days to get used to the negative heel but is really comfortable now. It's just a great all-around walking shoe. I LOVE the look- it's so cute with pants and skirts alike. The leather (twister) is really shiny and nice. I'm not thrilled about the velcro but it's nice to have the adjustable strap. The Mary Jane look is really cute.

Not wide enough - I had difficulty finding the right fit. I ordered 3 different sizes before finding one that was comfortable. It runs very narrow, which I think is a shame, because it's a great idea.

Cute & Comfy- They're very cute and score high points for comfort - I find them not to be very well made, though, as the pretty stitching on top seems to fall apart already (and I've had them for two weeks). Another reason I gave them only 4 stars is that I wish Earth made those shoes in wide width in vegan.

My Solar Experience - I like the negative heal feel. I have high arches that have pronated over the years (I'm 58.) With this shoe I don't seem to need orthotics.

My Review - I like that the shoe looks a little more stylish and can be worn in an office environment. The she is also pretty comfortable, but I wish the insole had a little more cushion to it.

Nice shoes - I got my Earth shoes at the Zappos.com outlet in KY. One of the workers at the store recommended them. These shoes are really comfortable, but it takes time getting used to the negative heel. I am glad I got these shoes.

First time buyer - I originally ordered the earth pirouette-but it was too narrow for my feet which very occasionally require wide with shoes. I really love the earth solar. The negative heel is very comfortable, and makes my calves feel energized when I take them off. They're fabulous for long hours of standing. I just wish earth made more of their styles in wide width. The size/length of the shoe was accurate.

Wearing this show has taken some getting used to. The leather still feels stiff and I would have liked to see it a little more flexible. Also the strap, while adjustable, still wants to return to the original position and then protrudes. I have been wearing them to stand all day while walking the floor coaching call center agents on a new system. The arch support is great and the lowered heel does keep my body aligned. However the length of the show is a bit short for the size and found that after standing for some time, the second toe hurts.

Earth Solar - I love the negative heel on Earth Shoes, but I have a very wide foot. Solar is one of the few models available in a wide width. (I would love to see some of the Oxford-type or running shoes in wide!)This is very comfortable and dressy enough for work, but the velcro strap keeps catching and tearing my pantyhose. I wish Earth would go back to the buttoned strap style of Moon (no longer available)in a wide width shoe. I recommend Zappos as a great, service-oriented company. They are very helpful and cooperative. Now if they could just get more wide-width Earth shoes...

still breaking in - earth shoes sounded like the perfect remedy for my foot fatigue so I'm giving it a spin and to encourage better posture. I think the shoes still need breaking in because there's still some discomfort in the arches or maybe my feet needs to conform to the shape. The shoes go well with my day wear and the velcro strap makes it easy. Zappos delivered extra quick - great service guys!

The shoes are very comfortable but don't seem to go with many pants. Maybe it is the kind of pants I have though. I have only worn them a few times since I bought them. But they look nice when the occasion is more than casual.

Almost right - I wish Earth would make their shoes just a smidge wider. I like the way these are easy to stand in all day but they and my other earth shoes give me a callous next to my little toe unless I leave extra slack when I tie/velcro them on. Also they could use a smidge more arch support. They really aren't designed for wide feet or high arches.

Funny shoe, nice fit - Although I can fit into a medium width shoe, I find that it is more comfortable to get a wide width shoe when standing for extended periods. I purchased the wide version just in case, and was glad I did. The shoes are very comfortable for both walking and standing. I did (like another reviewer) find the flap of leather on the back of the heel to be uncomfortable on the first day of major wear, but simply bent it back and forth repeatedly with my thumbs and it didn't hurt anymore. Big downside for me is it is SUCH a low shoe that some of my nicer pants touch the floor with it. That's a function of my long pants though, not the shoe. I have 2 pairs of Danskos and actually find this shoe more comfortable for both short and longer periods (when standing/walking -- any shoe is fine sitting!). I did not experience leg pain or have trouble getting used to how the shoe sits. My husband thinks they are ugly, but they are comfortable!!

This is a very comfortable shoe with a good arch support. I'm a teacher and I spend all day on my feet. I like that your heel is lower than the front of your foot. I've noticed that my heels hurt a little bit after a long day, but they feel much better than when I wear my other shoes. As far as the appearance though. I bought the camel color, and after 3 weeks they look as though I've had them for years, the leather is all scratched and worn. I expect more from $90 shoes.
