3 Pairs! This is an absolutely darling shoe. I spotted the first pair in a store in Manhattan and when I tried them on they felt like butter on my sore and aching feet. Of course, I made the purchase and then had to have more colors. I search Zappos and found a red pair and a light brown pair so I now have three pairs of "Solars." I would recommend these to anyone who wants both cute style and confort. Heather

Satisfied ++++++ This shoe fits perfectly. I ordered a "wide" since I have a moderately wide foot and it's wide enough, yet not sloppy. Took me a few hours to get used to the negative heel, but now I don't even notice. The only thing I question, and these shoes are still on the "break-in" stage, is how this shoe comes up really high on the back of the heel. This is not a shoe that I will be wearing every day, as it is RED!! However, this is a shoe that I would repeat in another more subdued tone... maybe camel or navy.

The epitome of comfort! I was looking for the perfect flat Maryjanes for a while... I'm so glad I found these! The negative heel thing is truly awesome - no pain whatsoever from being on my feet all day. They look way cute with pants and skirts, too.. people are constantly complimenting me on them. These are truly a joy to wear... mmmmcomfort :)

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn - I am the barefoot queen, but type II diabetes and the advice of my doctor, has put a stop to going shoeless. I have searched long and hard for a comfortable shoe that looks good and feels good. This is it. All the other shoes in the bottom of my closet are gong to charity.

Nifty and comfortable - I just rediscovered Earth shoes after 30 years. With a bad back and leg problems walking wasn't fun. Six months ago I got a pair of the black Solars and not only did they FEEL great, people are always remarking how cute they are. They do work well with work clothes...I just bought a pair in red and may buy every color they have. Fit was great, no break in time and I love the velcro adjustable strap. Love Zappos--not only do they carry hard to find shoes but once I had to return a different pair of shoes and it was easy and got credited right away... Thumbs up!

All my collegues will be jealous! My red solars just came in the mail and it was worth all the trouble to get them all the way to Japan! I love them. I read the reviews and got a half size larager and they are perfect. They are super comfortable and they look great, I can't wait to wear them and I want more! The Perfect Shoe - I believe that I have found the perfect shoe! I personally like the way it looks, feels, and the company's standards from their employees treatment in the making of the shoes to the innovation and materials used for the shoe. The negative heel is soooo very comfortable and not to mention the way it makes your back align to be straight is what a shoe should be for, promoting good posture. I highly recommend these shoes for all of the above mentioned reasons because of course style, comfort, company resonsibility for the making of their shoes and those making them is of utmost importance to me and should be a consideration when purchasing a shoe.

Comfy, cute and casual - This is an extremely comfortable shoe, once you get used to the negative heel. It's also adorable and looks cute with capris. Was disappointed only sightly by the vast width of the toe box (designed for comfort, most surely), which lends a slightly orthopedic look to the shoe and renders it a little too frumpy for professional wear. Neverthless, this is the best casual shoe I own. Recommended!

Comfortable walking shoe - No sore feet after walking around in these shoes! The strap took a few days to break in, but otherwise no problems. 4 stars for looks because I would have preferred a slightly darker red. my first earth shoe--I would buy again, and recommend.

My favorite shoes - These are my favorite shoes, by far (and I am a bit of a shoe addict!). I have them in all 4 colors, and just bought a pair for my mom. If you are looking for comfort and style, buy these now!

Gorgeous and great with orthotics! I am a major afficionado of Earth shoes. I have to be. I have terrible feet--flat with SEVERE bunions. One foot has been operated on, the other not yet. I can ONLY wear shoes that will accommodate my orthotics and treat my feet right. I hardly ever put on anything else, but Earth shoes. That said, they aren't always the most graceful looking. One of my 3 pairs of Earth Shoes is the LUNAR which was a less beautiful version of this shoe made the previous season. This one is subtly, but significantly cuter. I've tried it on and it's gorgeous and feels great. If you wear orthotics, you must try Earth Shoes--the negative heel--w/ the orthotic allows your foot to sit normally in the shoe without being lifted up and pushed to the front. Sheer genius.

What a wonderful shoe! Earth Solar has it all--great look, craftsmanship, and heavenly comfort. The negative heel keeps my hips and knees from hurting when I'm on my feet all day. I wear an 11 or 12 wide depending on the shoe, and ordered the 12, which is wide enough and a perfect fit. Having big feet and substantial ankles, there is a bit of exposed Velcro hook tape that the fold-over strap doesn't cover. If necessary, I'll try to get creative with some copper D rings and black leather in order to extend the part through which the strap loops, but so far I haven't had a problem, and it certainly isn't enough to make me send them back. I really love this shoe! And Zappo's service rocks!

Very cute - These are healing shoes! I have hip pain unless I'm wearing them. And they are the cutest shoes I've ever owned. They conform to Anusara yoga principles of rotating the thighs in and releasing the tail bone down. Just marvelous for me. Maybe you, too?

What a nice surprise. I have big wide feet- size 11, and I was dubious about trying these. Finding shoes is a nightmare for me. These are wonderful, comfortable, they look good, they feel good, and I am thrilled. Zappos is incredible - who needs shoe stores?

I love the ruby slippers! I like these shoes as much as I thought I would when I saw a picture of them in Redbook magazine. I have received many compliments on them and they are comfortable to wear all day to work. My five year old granddaughter is jealous!

The fit of the shoe itself is comfortable, no breaking in required, although the strap bites into the skin if put on too tight. I needed to get additional insoles, however, only because my feet are too flat. Earth soles need getting used to, but once on, they are comfortable, especially when pounding the pavement.

I love this shoe! It is comfortable and much much cuter than I thought an Earth shoe could be. I found that I could go down a half size from what I normally wear. Zappos was the only retailer I could find that had the Solar in stock. Thank you!

Buy 'em! I have never gotten so many compliments on a shoe before! They are very bright (not what I am used to wearing), and the negative heel technology takes a bit of getting used to, but these are the most comfy shoes ever and everyone notices them and wants them!
