Relief for my feet - I am a recovering shoe junkie who used to be able to wear whatever shoe I wanted without a thought to pain or blisters. After 4 years of teaching on hard tile-covered concrete floors, I now suffer from some serious heel pain, which at times has restricted me to a regimen of motrin and sneakers. I thought I was doomed to "orthopedic-looking" shoes for the rest of my life (I'm not even 30). Then I found Earth shoes. I love these shoes. I can wear them everywhere. They're cute, they're stylish, they go with soooo many options, and they don't hurt my feet. No blisters, no heel pain. My feet are happy, and so am I.

Lovely shoe! These are my new favorite shoes!! Generally I wear a size 6, but I read the reviews and got a 5.5 and they fit really well.

Comfortable, but still cool - These shoes were comfortable from the first time I put them on. My calf muscles took a half a day to get completely used to the negative heel because I walk up hill a lot, but it really wasn't a big deal. I ended up getting a size smaller than I usually do but got the wide version for a little extra room. They're perfect. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them from very stylish people--not bad for such a comfortable shoe. Zappos shipped them next-day for free, again. I love that.

This is my first pair of Earth shoes and they feel great, especially when I first put them on. I was searching for good business-casual shoes after being diagnosed with plantar faciitis...result of wearing too many too-flat shoes with not enough arch support. If you do have PF, beware that you may need to break into Earth gently; I wore them all day right off the bat and my PF did hurt more but a few hours at time and slowly increasing wearing time is working out well. My doc warned that if the Achilles is tight (and most with PF are), then wearing Earth shoes (or Birks -- similar but less extreme negative heel) could actually make the PF worse by stretching too much and all at once. If you don't have PF (be thankful!), I wonder if these shoes might just prevent it! I usually wear a size 8M US/39 EU in regualar dress shoes, but in these (and most athletic shoes) it's 8.5M...except for the Earth Intrigue, which I just exchanged for a size 9M. Take the advice and go a bigger! If your feet are swollen, you might also want to consider going wider too.

The Shoes for Nurses - These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I work in a very busy ICU, and my feet never hurt when I wear these shoes. I have several pairs of another highly recommended nurses shoe, but they can't compare in comfort to these.

love the solar! These shoes are great! The red color is great, they are super comfy and go with tons of stuff! Highly recommended.

different take on comfort! I bought this style in red patent. I found that I am wearing this with all types of different clothing looks that I wouldn't expect. (In the sunlight the color has little sparkles that a fancy cars paint job has... that was an unexpected plus and adds to the uniqueness of this style.) the comfort was too good to imagine, felt someone had broken them in for me right out of the box, and the extra comfortable negative heel technology didn't take long to get used to. I would say these are my new favorite pair of shoes...

Earth solar somewhat satisfying - I was afraid the Earth shoe might be difficult to adjust to, or create knee pain, but found that the better posture was very comfortable. The only problem I have is that the leather is very stiff and started to rub in the strap area, even when worn with hose.

Ultracomfort - I have become addicted to the comfort that these shoes offer. The heel and arch take a couple of days to get used to but then you don't want to wear anything else. Only warning is that they stretch a lot -- first couple days my tallest toe felt a bit constricted, but glad I didn't trade in for larger because now they feel perfect.

Wow...Comfort at Last - I love my new shoes....comfort and doesn't compromise the look.

An investment for your feet!! I really love these shoes. They only took about two days of wear to break in. The only part that felt uncomfortable in those two days was the ankle strap and heal rubbed a little. But now they are perfect. They are a great shoe for people with sensitive feet. Excellent quality and brilliant idea.

Earth shoes are out of this world!! I looked at these shoes for a couple of months, trying to figure out if the shape of the soles were just too weird for me! Initially, the unusual shape of the soles are awkard, but I did quickly get used to them. I had a couple of little sore spots from the first day of wear, but I think this could have been avoided had I worn Peds or little socks. These shoes are very comfy and they look adorable with skirts, jeans, capris...you name it!

Great shoes - I wear size 12m. These shoes look good in large sizes. I have the brown leather ones- the leather wears really well and is a nice color. They feel odd the first few wearings because you are aware of your toes being higher than your heels. After a couple of wearings they feel great. I wish the strap closure wasn't velcro but that is my only complaint.

I get so many compliments on this lovely, quirky little shoe! I am very picky about my feet and what I dress them in, and earth shoes always meet my standards. I am on my feet all day for work and with these shoes I not only look great, but don't have to suffer with the usual back pain and leg cramps. Buy these shoes!

My feet never tire! I am on my feet all day as a high school English teacher, and after years of clogs, and cheap shoes, I broke down and bought two pairs of Earth shoes. My feet have been thrilled ever since. They didn't need any breaking in for me (they may for you; everyone's feet are different). I've worn them for twelve or longer hour days since the beginning. I will say that I am not sure how durable the leather is. The toes look worn after only a month. As long as they don't get any worse, I'm happy.

I am a teacher and stand on vinyl covered concrete floors all day. My feet started giving me problems about 18 months ago. I have a heel spur and hesitated getting a negative heel shoe, but Earth shoes are the only shoes I can wear. I have a narrow foot, so I padded the shoe with a gel insert. That and the velcro strap help make the shoe fit. My only complaint with this style is the velcro strap sometimes will catch the hem of my pants. It would help if Earth would reverse the 2 strips so that the prickly strip is less likely to catch pants.

Ball of Foot Pain? Try Earth Shoes!!!! I am a throwback to the early 70's when the Earth sandal was big. Now in my late 40's I find these wonderful shoes again - but for a different reason. I have severe Morton's Neuroma - which causes ball of the foot pain - these shoes help relieve some of that pressure by taking the brunt at the heel. My Solar's are not fully broken in yet but all in good time - all in good time. If you purchase these shoes give yourself plenty of time to break them in or you will be unhappy. Similar to Birks' but more comfy. Thanks Earth Shoes & Zappos for being there!

Awesome shoes! I had decided I wanted a pair of women's black patent Mary Jane's. I did a search on Google and this shoe came up under Zappo. I was a little hesitant at the price, since I really just wanted these shoes to wear for fun. I decided to buy them anyway and am SO GLAD I did. They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn (with the exception of sneakers or slippers!). I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable shoes. They look great whether dressing up, or down.

These Shoes are So Fantastic! I am now a fan of Earth shoes...my first Earth shoes have proven to be outstanding. I am sold!

A little hard to adjust to - Cute shoe, but takes a while for my foot to adjust to the negative heel, especially walking on an uneven surface.

Another winner - I own Earth Solar in two shades of brown, red and now in patent. It's a great shoe - comfortable and stylish. It's not too clunky and works well with any outfit - even looking sharp enough for work.
