Great for narrow feet with high arches. This is the first pair of Earth shoes I bought, and I LOVE them. I sometimes have problems finding shoes that accommodate my high arch, but these work great. My posture feels as if it has improved, and I definitely feel less pressure on my lower back when I wear these shoes. After wearing these for a month, I bought a pair of Earth sandals as well. Very cute and comfortable! These shoes are really comfortable and cute. I wear orthotics and a size 12. These shoes have great arch support and make my feet look smaller. I do think they are at least a half-size larger than marked, but I plan to keep them anyway as they are so comfortable.

Awesome! I was a little nervous about ordering this shoe; others had failed me, but not this one! So comfortable, NO MORE SIATICA PAIN! Finally a shoe that I can wear all day to work, play, and church! Don't be afraid to try this beauty.

Earth's Solar - Love these for work and casual! Not quite as wide as I need, but after stretching they've been great. The arch support is very good and have allowed me to support my falling arches while looking good in business casual. I got both black and brown, but for some reason the black fits better. Small warning about the Velcro fastener - it's not always covered by the strap so pantyhose can take a beating if you're not careful. All in all a great, cute, supportive shoe that needs to be wider with a thinner strip of Velcro.

Love My Earth Shoes! This is my fifth pair of Earth Shoes. They are the black patent ones. I think they are dressier than some of the others. I used to have heel pain. I don't have it when wearing Earth Shoes. LOVE MY EARTH SHOES!

Comfortable Cuties!!! These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I have been having a problem with one of my feet and everyday at the end of the day my feet were so sore and tired until I bought these! It is almost like my feet were healed! You just forget that you are wearing shoes! If you are on your feet all day these are the shoes for you! They are really girly cute too!

A teacher's dream! I have worn these shoes every day since I got them to work in (Only one day with minor blister on the back of my heel/ankle, but quickly broke in). I will buy another pair of Earth shoes within the next week or so in another color. I am a high school teacher and am on my feet very often. I am also a distance runner and want to take care of my feet and keep them in comfort and support as much as possible. These are SO COMFY! Other teachers are ordering them as well because they thought they were so cute :)

LOVE THEM! I have VERY "bad" feet. High arch, plantar fasciitis, heel spur, Morton's neuroma. Earth Shoes and Birkenstock are the ONLY shoes I can wear without my custom orthotics. Earth offers more "attractive" styles that I can wear to work, and they are less expensive than Birkies. I loved them in the 60s-70s, love them more now!

This is a very comfortable fitting shoe and is slightly larger than my regular size 9s. This is fine as I will be wearing them into the colder months and with thicker socks. I had no problem adjusting to the different fit. I actually bought my mom a pair and she loves them! The Mary Jane style is great and can be dressed up or down. If you need a great all day shoe, give this a try!

Bad feet - Good Shoes - I'm always looking for shoes that feel good on my feet and look good as well. I'm too young to wear just orthopedic shoes, yet I have very bad, arthritic feet, ankles, and knees! I am able to wear these shoes all day without experiencing the foot pain that comes with most shoes today. I have them in two colors and I hope you continue to make them for people like me. Spectacular! I've received and returned 5 pairs of shoes from Zappos...finally I've found a keeper :) The negative heel was a downer at first, but then an hour later I realized just how comfy it is, and yes, I'm standing up straight! My only qualm, as a flat footer, is that the arch support feels like it's digging into me - it's too much on the fringe of the shoe to support, so it's more of an annoyance than a benefit. However, I've barely taken these shoes off since getting them, and they look so cute...I am very happy now. I'm a 12W, so I have shoe issues, but these are hot!

cute! Very cute, but they do dig a little on the back of my achillies. I prefer the slide version.

EARTH shoes are the BEST - Over the last 6 months I have fallen in love with my 4 pairs of EARTH shoes. They give great arch support and my feet have never felt better. In fact, I am no longer wearing any orthotics! I will continue to buy new styles of EARTH shoes . . . and perhaps even branch out and move on from classic black.

A new fan of the "negative heel alignment technology" I confess that I wanted to keep the shoes from the first second I saw them because the Mary Jane style of the Solar in patent leather is adorable. When I first put these shoes on I found the low heel to be kind of odd feeling. I called the person who occasionally gives me thereaputical massages (someone who knows about proper body alignment) and asked him what he thought of the idea. He said that although the feeling is a matter of personal preference, most people tend to lean forward more than they should and a negative heeled shoe would probably be a good idea. After wearing the shoes around the house for an afternoon I committed to keeping the shoes and wore them outside. I have had the shoes for about three weeks now and no longer find the heels feeling strange. Aside from some initial rubbing on the top of my foot by the v-design cutout, I have found the shoes to be comfortable on walks and for running around with my two-year-old. I plan to buy the Earth Solar in brown sometime soon, I am so pleased with the look and the feel of these shoes. I find the low heel gives my tight hamstrings some natural stretching space. A note: I also ordered the Earth Solar in the wide size offered in the regular black leather and found them to be REALLY wide (too wide for my somewhat wide feet) and had to send them back. The regular width in the patent is an acceptable fit for me.

Fantastique! I am pregnant and I am a teacher. This combination (on my feet for a good portion of the day and an ever-changing/growing body) make it difficult to wear cute and professional shoes. I tried the Solars on at a local shoe shop and instantly fell in love. They weren't instantly comfortable but after a few days they broke in quite nicely. It is easy for me to get them on without having to bend over too much and they have room for possible foot expansion. The negative heel technology is comfortable without being too obvious. I take the Metro to work which means a lot of walking and they make the walk all the more pleasant. I think the design is a bit clunky and not as cute as I would prefer but I can't pass on the comfort. They work well with pants and skirts. The are extremely well made and I imagine that they will hold up for a long time. When I first tried them on and for the first few days they felt a bit too big. (I tried on a 1/2 size smaller and they absolutely did not fit at all.) Now, after wearing them for awhile, I feel that they fit perfectly. If you are accustomed to wearing tighter shoes, the looseness may surprise you at first. They feel supportive and non-constricting all at the same time.

Truly unique - The word "unique" is overused, but the structural design of Earth shoes is unlike anything I've ever worn. Some people might find the "negative heel" too weird; others say it takes awhile for their leg muscles and skeletal posture to adjust. I, however, love it. Maybe it's because I practice yoga, but I needed no period of adjustment and have worn them for hours at a time with no trouble. They're really cute, too (mine are "rosso" red) - I even got a compliment from a stranger on the street.(

This one is good - These felt so good to walk in that I ended up buying another Earth Shoe. However this one I would recomend, but the other I don't.

Earth Shoe review - I love my new Earth Solar shoes. They are very comfortable. I work in a very busy bookstore and I'm on my feet all day. They have a very good look and go with everything. I also love Zappos excellent service, they are my favorite shoe store.

I love this shoe! The Earth Solar shoe is not only cute, but also very comfortable. I have two pairs: black leather and red patent leather, and I wear them to work all the time. They are professional and sensible, and one needn't sacrifice style for comfort.

Great shoe - I really like this shoe - it fits well and I love the negative heel. But I worry about the strap. It is kind of flimsy - I'm afraid it may not last long. And with the negative heel, it sits right on the part of the foot that is bent upward. I end up read justing the fit throughout the day, because it starts to bother me.

The cutest shoe! Ok, I just got these shoes in. They are very cute. I bought them because I have a trade show to go to, and I'm going to be on my feet for a long time. They are really comfortable. Although, my right foot feels a little confined right now...but I think that will fade as I break them in. Everyone seems to love them, and I'm pretty sure that I am on my way to feeling the same way. My only worry is I'm not sure I can wear thick socks with the size I bought so I might have to buy some oder eaters...they dont seem like they will breath well.

Durable, adorable, comfortable shoes - Despite a slight pinch at my toes (not enough to return/reorder), these shoes are my new favorites. I love the style, the fit, and the adaptability. I can wear these out to a nice dinner or around town during the day. I'll order more Earth shoes--from Zappos (so easy!)--in the future.

Best on-your-feet-all-day shoes ever! I'm a pharmacy student, running around for 8 hours a day, and this shoe is the perfect blend of "professional" and "comfortable." No more back pain (as I always had with running shoes). I've gotten TONS of compliments on the style as well. I had these shoes in brown and HAD to get the black as well!!! Love them!!
