Foot pain diminishes! My sister recommended these wonderful shoes to me, and I'm so glad she did! I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and the great arch support and negative heel are helping immensely. The only 'negative' I could report on is the ankle strap -- the Velcro is so very strong (a good thing) that if I'm not careful it snags my stockings (a bad thing) when putting them on.

I love my hippie shoes - I needed comfortable shoes for work, and these are just great. It takes a moment to adjust to the negative heel thing, but my feet don't hurt anymore and there is plenty of room to wiggle my toes. They are very cute and don't look or feel "orthopedic" yet they provide such great support. And as always, zappos.com offers such quick shipping!

Great toe room - While shoes are "hard" and the velcro can snag hose ... at least I can wear these shoes with dresses. May look like a duck but boy are my toes thankful - plenty of wiggle room!

Best Shoes Ever! Once you get used to the built up arch...they are the most comfortable shoes you could ever put on your feet. My backaches have gone away since I have been wearing these shoes. The velcro closure makes it easy to dress and go. Well worth the dollar value spent.

Great Shoe! I've been wearing my Solar's for about a month now, and am more satisfied with each use. The shoes are comfortable once I got used to the negative heel, and I definitely think my posture is better with them on. I have narrow feet usually wear an 8.5 or 9, but went with the 9 to maintain the roomy toe box and ensure proper arch alignment. They look dressier than I anticipated, so they pair well with skirts and capris, but less so with jeans. I now find myself rearranging my wardrobe a bit to wear them as much as possible!

Earth Solar is definitely the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. I had been looking for awhile to find a pair of shoes to replace my old Dr. Martens Maryjanes and had only been disappointed until I tried Solar. The fit is perfect, the sole is very cushiony and molds to my foot very comfortably. The best part is that the back of the heel portion is padded so for me that meant no blisters! Since trying these I've gotten a few other pairs of Earth shoes and have found them all to be amazing, although my Solar’s will always be my favorite as they were my first. Earth is a great brand as they deliver comfort and a very signature look.

Very nice shoe - Overall, this shoe is great. The only thing I don't like is that the arch support feels a little off. It's not horrible, but it makes them just a little uncomfortable to wear if you're doing a lot of walking. Otherwise, you probably won't even notice.

I love these shoes - These are so comfortable - they were my first pair of earth shoes, but I've almost worn them out from wearing them every day, and just had to buy a second pair! I get so many compliments on them.

Best Shoe - Solar is the best fitting and most comfortable shoe for my needs. I have a number of other Earth styles, all very good, but Solar is tops. The absence of pain I am experiencing even after several hours on my feet, distinguishes this shoe in the "best" category.

Comfy!! Great shoe! At first the reverse heel was a little weird...but I got used to it within a day of wearing them. I had some pain in my foot due to a joint problem, and these shoes did the trick! Quality leather in and out of the shoe.

I adore these shoes - I just bought my 6th pair of Earth shoes - three of them are Solar. I have narrow feet with high insteps and arches and these stay on, are comfortable and don't cause cramps in my feet. My back and knees never felt better. They are my favorite everyday shoes.

Great for people who complains of heel pain - I've been using these shoes for a week now, and it work really great on my heel, it doesn’t hurt that much after a 16 hrs shift. I bought a size bigger so I could wear socks and fit just perfect. Zappos customer service is excellent and agents are very friendly, allow me to exchange shoes and shipped the new shoes in 3 days. First pair of Earth shoes - They seem to be quite comfortable. I like the way the toe box juts out just slightly so that if you kneel it allows room for your toes to shift forward without hitting the toe. I was afraid the strap, being very narrow, would rub and irritate but it doesn't. In fact I don't think it is required to keep the shoe on. I do not like shoes that cramp my feet; these don't but don't look wide to me.

Comfy and stylish - I love the whole Earth shoe concept and like what they do for my spine. This shoe is very comfy and stylish and my short-toed, high volume feet are very happy in them. I have the white ones. They required no break-in time. Some of the Earth shoe styles work better on my feet than others, so I tried a few out to find what works for me, and Zappos' easy returns really helped. In the sandals, for example, I have short toes, so I buy a half size smaller to keep baby toe under the strap, but I wear regular size in their closed shoe and boot.

Earth solar shoe - I really like earth shoes!! And this one is especially attractive. It felt a tiny bit stiff at first, but now is just great. I have another style of earth shoes and wearing them seems to help my back and knees.

Bohemian shoes... Love 'em. They aren't Manolos but extremely comfortable and "cute" in a bohemian way. The heel is different to get used to. The T strap makes them a hint more feminine then "Herman Munster Shoes". The leather is beautiful. They even come with their own storage bag.

Earth shoes are great- I have a very hard time finding shoes to fit. Most shoes pinch my toes and cause pain in my little toe. Earth shoes solve this problem and I don't have to order a wide width. Earth shoes are shaped like my feet. I would recommend them to anyone who had problems finding wide shoes.

This shoe will grow on you: At first Earth Solar shoes looked a little clunkier than I liked, and the negative heel technology kind of hurt my feet/ankles. But after one or two days of wearing them around the house, they are wonderfully comfortable and I like the style more and more.

Amazing Earth Shoes! I love these shoes. I'm a waitress, and I am on my feet sometimes up to ten hours a day. Earth shoes are comfy and durable. The negative sole is wonderful. My back and spine pain is gone. The only drawback is that they are not as skid resistant on slippery commercial kitchen floors as I would have liked. Zappos pictures are very accurate. Earth shoes are way better than Birkenstocks, and I've owned a lot of Birkenstocks.

I love this shoe! This is a great mary jane. It takes a little breaking in time; my shin was sore for about a day of wearing it. But it's totally worth it. The shoe is comfortable, and it makes me stand up straight. It helps me to keep my shoulders from scrunching up and it takes pressure off of my lower back. It's a well made shoe. The velcro is ok; it lets me tighten the strap easily. The only thing is that since I wear it so much, it is starting to scuff, but I guess I can always shine it. I'd recommend getting a pair for yourself!

For the first time in my life I began to experience the effects of an aging body. My knee and back were really hurting, I was limping, and forced to wear a knee brace. Desperate, I ordered Solar after seeing an ad for Earth. I could immediately feel a difference in my alignment. Within a week, I was out of the brace, and by month's end, my lower back pain had disappeared. I've bought two pairs. Not as refined and chic as I like a shoe to look, but they're pretty cute with jeans, and short skirts and tights. I am between a 9 and 9 1/2 and am on the wider side of a B width--the 9/12 is a good fit, if roomy. And the service--I do almost all my shopping online, and I haven't found a company yet that rivals Zappo's fast, friendly and efficient service. Many thanks!

So cute (and comfortable) This is my first pair of Earth shoes and I love them! I did order them a 1/2 size smaller based on other's reviews and although they are a little tight--I think they will stretch out to a perfect fit in time. I haven't had any blisters. I love the negative heel technology and the way I feel when I'm walking in them. But most important--they are SO CUTE!

Thumbs up for Earth Shoes- I was so glad to discover that Earth Shoes have wide widths (although the selection in "wides" is very limited- big negative). I'm very pleased with this shoe so far but will have to see how it wears over time. Nice alternative to Birkenstocks (I have 15 pairs) because the wide width in Earth shoes doesn't look so wide and clunky as they do in Birkenstocks. But apart from the "appearance" aspect, the arch support seems sufficient and the comfort is good and these are the 2 most important factors in shoes for me.

I LOVE THESE SHOES- I have arthritis in my knees and as a result I have a tendency to walk incorrectly. These shoes have helped me to straighten my posture which in turn helps my back, legs and KNEES! I am thrilled with them. They are kind of funky looking, but overall I think they are great! I will be back for more... Karen

Not quite wide enough - I tried this shoe on several times and the best indicator was after being on my feet for 8 hours. The shoe bed isn't wide enough in a W for my wide foot. I was so disappointed because I like this shoe. Maybe I'll try a 1/2 size larger.
