The straps cut into top of foot really badly; if I loosened them, they slipped off. Wish they had worked.

I purchased this shoe a few years ago and am still wearing it today. I ordered a new pair and am sorely disappointed. They have changed the foot bed and the arch support. It is not the same shoe. Furthermore, my first pair is a W width and fit perfectly out of the box. The pair I just ordered is a W width as well and is way too tight. Just not the same shoe.

I have been wearing Earth shoes for over 10 years now (their Mary Jane style mostly), but this shoe was surprisingly different. And not in a good way. It did not fit and feel well. Although the sole inset looks padded (which my previous Earth shoes did not have) it did not add any comfort and felt bulky. I had to send the shoes back.

I have warn these for about a year and a half now and I want to love them, but unfortunately the leather was very quick to stain (from water), scuff, and chip off! I probably have lower standards than most people, so I have put up with it for awhile, but finally my husband said the other day, "those look really terrible." For such an expensive, "high quality" shoe, I don\\\'t understand why they are so quick to wear down.

Ouch - Usually do not have trouble fitting shoes. But these hurt my foot around the arch; only feels good on a carpet. Maybe the will be good to you but these shoes are walking torture on the flats...but at least I look good.

DON'T BUY THESE SHOES/ HATE THESE SHOES - I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe and wore them at home first. After my first day of heavy walking, I had three blisters on one foot and two on the other from the high heel extension on the back. After day two, my blisters were infected and my ankle swollen. These are the worst shoes I've ever owned. I can't believe anyone even sells these things.

Looks great, but hurts my knees - I bought these shoes because of the great reputation and reviews of the brand. But after wearing them 3ish times a week for 2 1/2 months, my knees hurt so badly that I can barely go up and down stairs or go from standing to sitting and vice versa. I'd read another review from someone that said her back hurt from these shoes. So when I told my doctor my theory, she was convinced that the shoes are the culprit & I'm not to wear them again. It's been 2 weeks, and my knees still hurt, but she says they should be back to normal in another 2 weeks. Beautiful looking shoes and seemingly comfortable, so it makes me sad to stop wearing them. But fashion definitely isn't worth the pain I've been in.

Unhappy with Earth Solar - Sorry to say this shoe was a waste of my money--I read the reviews and thought it would be the answer for me, but, alas, not to be--it is too heavy and toe room is not as much as described. Win some, lose some.

Not for me - Love MBTs but they don't look very good. These Earth shoes are very attractive shoes but they are inflexible and the sole feels like walking on concrete. I really did not like them at all and will stick with MBTs which work great but look so weird.

Nice but stocking killers - These shoes are very comfortable BUT the velcro will kill your stockings.

The praise for this shoe is very misleading. I wore them for the first time today, to work, with liners, but no socks or hose. They tore up the backs of both of my heels. The metal loop of the Velcro strap also irritated the inside of my foot. The shoes themselves feel like clodhoppers with little to no arch support or shock absorbent. I paid nearly $94 for these, expecting them to be comfortable, not crippling. After a regular day walking around Boston, I want to get rid of them. I would return them if they didn't already show wear, or perhaps exchange them for the backless Kharma 2. Zappos is phenomenal, but this shoe stinks. And just when I thought my search for a comfortable work shoe was over...
