Great fitting boot. Agree with others to order a smaller size than usual. I wear a size 6 shoe and boot, and I ordered one size smaller. It fit perfect! The quality on these boots is great.

Love these boots! I usually wear between an 8 1/2 or 9 and the 8 fits perfect. Very comfortable.

These are great for the rain. I wear a 7M and I bought a 7. They are a bit roomy, but I know the 6 would not have fit. With the extra room I can wear thick socks and tuck in my jeans or work pants. I am 5 foot 1 and these hit me mid calf. The regular size boots would have been too long for me.

Wow, I read all the good things about these boots, but figured it was a bit of hype. However, the boots really are very comfortable (nothing poking at your foot, no seams, etc.) and much lighter than I thought they would be. They fit like a rain boot size should; bigger than a cowboy boot, but not sloppy.

Great rain boots! I thought I'd buy a pair since it rains frequently during the hurricane season in the south. They're comfortable and I like this short style better than the original tall ones because I'm petite.

I ordered these in black at 10 pm my time, and still received them the next day. Zappos, I don't know how you do it, and how you do it for free, but I will forever be a customer for the free overnight shipping. But speaking of these boots-run a tad on the big side, but with thick socks I would say order your normal size, thin socks, 1/2 size down. They are even prettier in person. Very shiny and look great with jeans tucked into them. Thinking of ordering the beige as well after next paycheck. This boot is worth the money if you want to look good in the rain.

Bought these shoes for a trip to London, expecting rain (which only came at the times I was not wearing these shoes). I am a true size 7. I followed the advise of others and ordered both the Size 7 and 6 as many people said these ran big. I ended up keeping the smaller one (size 6) which fit great with a thinner sock.

This boot rocks. Purchased initially for the Jazz Fest in New Orleans, which always has some rain days. The grey is perfect because it\'s not too dark like black. Also, I am petite, so the short looks better on my legs than the long. I wore them with long socks that just barely peeked out of the boot. Wondered what all the fuss was about, now I know. Expensive, but seem durable for years of wear.

Have had the same tall version of this boot for several years and love them for when it's really mucky out in the rainy season and in the garden and running errands in the winter. However, while the tall boots are very comfortable when on, they're a bit of a challenge getting on and off, so am loving having the option of the short boots for summer weather and feel I can justify the extra 'splurge' on these as I've really found no other better footwear for gardening. They also look great with a short or long rain coat. I wear a 7 1/2 and find the woman's 7 fits fine as they do run large. With socks I can wear them comfortably all day working outside. My husband recently bought me a pair of the Hunter clogs which are great too, especially for quick in and out trips to the stables and the garden when I just want a slip on that can get dirty and wet and be ready to take on all the abuse again the next day after just a quick rinse off(unlike my old athletic shoes or riding boots!) They also look fine for running errands, going to kid's games, etc. They're definitely worth a try, especially with Zappos free shipping.

I am 4'11 and I purchase the short high gloss black willies I love them. The high gloss makes the boot more style's so you don't feel as though your wearing boots for gardening. If your are short I recommend getting the short boot because the original ones comes up too high, you look like your wearing fish flying boots. They run true to size with enough room for warm socks. I can't say enough about the staff they were wonderful. I was on the phone with them for at least 30 minutes trying to decide which boot to go with and I must have called back at least 3 times to change my order. The whole experience was great.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a size smaller as suggested. I always take an 8, ordered a 7. They were too small. Since I wanted to be able to wear them with thicker socks, I sent them back and got 8's. They are fine with thick socks. If they came in half sizes, that would have been perfect. However, they are comfortable, lightweight and look nice. I ordered the Granite. It seemed more casual and springlike than the black gloss. Nice to not have to worry about stepping in puddles! They are worth the money. I think they'll last a long time!

I wear these boots to work everyday. I spend the whole day on my feet and in wet and slippery conditions. These boots are wonderful and have not let me down. For the first time, my feet don't hurt when I get home. I have several pairs of rubber boots, but the Hunter boots are the only ones that I wear now. Well worth the price and I will only buy Hunter boot from now on. They definitely pass the comfort and durability test for me everyday...and trust me I put them through heck on a daily basis. Thank you Hunter!

These are awesome if you're not super tall. The tall length hunters were too much shoe for me (5’4”). Order a size down and you'll do yourself a favor. Love my new Hunters.

I have these short boots in turquoise and yellow, and I love them! Now I can’t wait for it to rain this spring so I can wear them. I normally wear a size 7 to 7.5, and these fit me great in a size 6. However, there is very little extra room, so I can only wear thin socks, but that’s not a problem since these are warm-weather rain boots. I’d recommend sizing down as much as possible, since you don’t want your feet to look any bigger than necessary while you’re running around with big colorful rubber things on your feet!

These are great for rainy weather & coupled with the welly socks, can be used as winter boots. They feel lighter than most rain boots & don’t have that "cloppy" feeling.

The boots are a little big in the foot, but fit well in the calf area. I got them more for the mud when walking through the fields with the dogs and they keep my feet very dry. They are also very easy to maintain. I was a little bummed that the gloss finish did not last. I have tried to wipe them off, and it does not seem like they will ever be glossy again. But I do like the boots and would buy again and recommend.

I love my new rain boots they fit and look great. If you are a half size and are not going to wear really thick socks, I would order a size down.

Love the short Hunters! I was looking for something easy to slip on and off. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered a 6 (that’s what I do with Uggs), but the 6 was too small with a thick sock. The 7 is perfect. And they are comfortable and cute as well!

Great boots and a great height! The only issue I have is that Hunter doesn't make any inserts that fit this mid-calf size boot (this height is new this year). I wish they did so I could wear them in colder weather.

I bought these for my daughter, who is 5'4" and found the tall version a little too high. She's thrilled with these, and the size 7 fit her 7.5 foot beautifully. Very pleased with both product and service.

These boots are fabulous! The gloss gives them a sophisticated look. I love to wear them with jeans on a casual day. They are comfy and cozy. I can't wait to purchase them in red!

Great practical rain boot. Not for fashion, but very functional. I like the shorter height because it doesn't make it as difficult to walk, and the boots aren't as heavy. They are perfect for light walking, short distances, on flat ground such as sidewalks. If you are going to be in torrential downpours or a muddy field, you may want the taller boots. I also found these boots to be very roomy in the toe box. I have wide feet and these were comfortable when I wore a thin pair of socks. The gloss boots are not too shiny. It's just enough to keep them from looking so industrial. The low heel is nice and makes it easier to walk (as opposed to no heel). This brand is a little more expensive than others, but worth it.
