These boots feel very cheaply made, in fact they feel just like the pair I have from Target that cost $20!

am returning my Hunter boots, I love them but they have already started leaking!

I was really excited to received my Hunter boots in the mail today(Short black gloss) but when I opened the box and took out my boots, I was more than angry. First off, my boots already had the "natural blooming" on them, which did not show in the picture and was not stated in the description. Also, the boots had small black indented "dots' all over the boot. I know it was not the Hunter company's fault because I ordered a pair of Hunter boots off of American Eagle's website and they came in perfect condition. The only reason why I took those boots back was Zappos was having a Black Friday sale on the boots and American Eagle was not. When I pay high money for a pair of boots, I expect them to be in the best condition possible. (Some side notes to consider with these boots) - I usually wear an 8.5-9 in most shoes, I ended up ordering the 8 and they still seem "big" without socks, but if I were to order a 7, they would be too small. I wouldn't say I have small calves nor large ones, but the boots width seems really large as well. --- Overall, I will be shipping back the boots and ordering from a different store. I usually buy most of my shoes off of Zappos, but I guess I'll find a new shoe store to shop at..

They have sent me two pairs, and every pair have been defective!!!! I'm hoping I can really get a good pair waiting for the next one! Also the wrapping paper that comes with the boots it was not the original! The box was used!!! It just really looked like an used pair!! Very disappointed!

Buyer beware! I have a beautiful pair of hunter red boots. They are two years old and look like new. I love them and have received numerous compliments. So, I recently decided to purchase another pair. I decided on classic black. I am tremendously disappointed in this boot. They cannot be compared to the red. They are skimpy & far less substantial than the red pair. If you are purchasing hunter for the first time, the difference might go unnoticed. However, if u have older pairs, expect a big difference in how the boot is being manufactured. I believe in order to keep the price the same, hunter has cut down on quality. This is sad because the boots are fairly expensive. I feel I have been cheated. I am also upset...although hunter boots are lovely, I will never purchase from hunter again!

I love my tall Hunters and I wanted to love these, unfortunately, I wore them four weeks ago and STILL have scars/scabs on the back of my calves from how badly they rubbed against my bare skin. When I wore them around the house to check out the fit they felt totally fine, yet increasing the mileage on the street (walked about 1-1.5 miles) they rubbed the back of my legs raw and bloody. As I bought these to wear in warmer weather, I didn't want to need to wear socks, so this boot just doesn't work for me in the way I intended. Be very sure it won't destroy your calves before wearing them outside of the house. I'm still scarred and paid $150 for the pleasure.
