It fits true to size very comfortable. Keeps your feet dry in NYC we can see rain for weeks they are very comfy easy to walk in and doesn’t bother the back of my foot

Very stylish rain boot! Too cute for mucking out the stalls, but perfect for flooded strreets and keeping feel dry. These were a siz or half size to big and loose for my very narrow feet even with thick wool socks! I ended up keeping gloss black chelsea style which fit perfect and the arch fit perfectly under my very high arches. They are cute and I can wear with leggings or running stretch legging style pants that are fleece lined with warmth for raining and windy days! I think Icould wear my Ariat boots, but rather hose off rubber and not my nice leather boots!bthey to me are cuter and dont make my feet look too large.

I love these boots! Every year, i get myself a pair of good rain boots. I will NEVER get any other name brand. I get HUNTER every time. I am a size 7.5 in women’s shoes but i order a size 8 in these boots. I like to wear these boots with thick socks, so i need some room. It also makes it easier for the hunter socks to fit when wearing these boots. Good for rain and cold weather

I’m petite and sometimes it’s hard for me to find boots that will look right on petite women. These rain boots are comfortable and my jeans fit inside of the boots. I also love the quality material that these boots are made out of and the fact that they are all in one piece so you don’t have to worry about water or snow seeping into the boot and making your feet wet. These boots will keep your feet nice and dry in rain or snow.

This is the 3rd pair of Hunter rain boots I have either bought for myself or as a gift, and there is a reason these are the queen's pick for keeping your feet dry tromping around Balmoral. For a rubber shoe they are actually very comfortable and certainly well made. They are still made in the UK, not outsourced for cheaper construction. They're classic, they last forever, and run large so you can add thick socks. Size wise I almost always wear a 7.5 and have "average" feet width wise, if you are in between sizes get the half size smaller. I have 2 pairs of 7's with plenty of room, an 8 would be huge.

I adore my new Hunter Original Short Gloss boots in Spearmint! I hadn't come across this colour before and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity and price drop. I selected a size 7 and the boots feel good around my ankles and feet. The back of my feet have more room but that's similar to my other experience with Hunter rain boots (tall). I will be using these Short Gloss boots during my stays in Florida to help fend off the rainy, wet season. Kudos and many thanks to Zappos for the excellent choices and free shipping! These are so bright and glossy. I live in an area that gets torrential rains that can ruin your shoes. I bought these to save my work shoes from being ruined. They have no arch support but neither does any other kind of rain boot. Love these!

I bought the size 8 but since my foot is very narrow I could have worn a half size smaller. I don’t mind the larger fit for rain boots so I am keeping the 8. They are soft and do not rub the front of my leg as some boots have. Very happy with my purchase.

Purchased 8 and it was perfect. I am 5'4" and usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2. There was plenty of room to wear bulky socks and it was comfy. The only thing I didn't like was that it would twist your looser pants as you walked. You definitely have to wear leggings or tight pants, otherwise the twisting pant leg around my calf drove me crazy.

These boots are very cute and comfortable! I ordered the Hunter Boot Socks to go in them too because I plan to use them as snow boots with the fleece liner!

Love these! The taller style didn't have room for me to tuck in my pants, so I exchanged them for this shorter style. Perfect -- pants are tucked in, they're still tall enough to keep snow out, they're moderately supportive, and best of all -- they do not smell like a tire store. I also bought the fleece sole inserts, so they're toasty enough for this Chicago winter.

Great boot. Wore them in the snow with good socks and they preformed well as alternative to snow boots. No slip. Wide fit in ankle/calf area

These are the most durable and comfortable rain boots I have ever owned. I usually wear between a 6/6.5 and I ordered these in a 5. They were perfect. I now have a few colors to coordinate my rainy days!

This boot was true to size and very comfortable. I like the gloss, it is sharp but not too catchy.

I got these boots despite the fact that I live in Arizona, and it barely rains. I lived in Upper Michigan for 15 years so rain boots were a must have. They are very stylish for rain boots. They are also amazing quality, you don't need to worry about loose stitching because it is all rubber. Remember to wear a thick sock with these. The rubber is very solid, so the top of the boot stays in place. The only negative is the price, they are very pricey, so I'll probably only be wearing them twice a year, so I got the short ones. I really hope you consider getting these great shoes!

I had tried several less expensive pairs of rain boots before I decided to splurge on these. It was worth it! They are super comfy and the color is great. With the Hunter fleece socks they are great, but they are great with regular socks too. I am 5.2 and found this shorter height to be just right (taller boots in the past have been very uncomfortable).

The color on the red boots is exactly as shown. I haven't had a chance to wear these yet but, they fit true to size and are very comfortable. If you have larger calves, beware. They do fit snuggly around the calf area.. Fitted. Nice, sturdy fashionable rain boot. Not much arch support. It's a boot!

Bought these to wear on my first trip to NYC! They are very cute, but with that much walking they cut into my legs pretty badly. I wish I would have also bought some "wellie socks" to protect my legs!

I live in Oregon so obviously, rain boots are in good order. I've dealt with cheaper rain boots but they've all failed to last, usually ending with a huge gaping hole on the side. Finally, after much consideration and deliberation, I chose to go with the original Wellington boot from Hunter and I am so happy! The materials are wonderful - these boots are made to last! - and after a month and a half of constant walking and exposure to rain, they're hole-free! I got the short height to accommodate my 'athletic' calves and they're perfect, as long as you wear pants tucked in or long socks as the rubbing is not comfortable on bare skin. I wear a size 7/7.5 so I got the UK size 5 (US size 7) and I find that they are a tiny bit loose with boot socks. Mayhaps Welly socks are next on the list? Also, I got them in red and love that they add a pop of color to any ensemble. Thank you Zappos for a great shopping experience and for having the amazing Hunter boots.

These boots are perfect in the rain. However, I always bring another pair of shoes to switch out once I'm inside. They aren't comfortable enough for all day wear, but no boots are better for keeping your feet dry!

I love these boots! They are very good looking and are a good height for a petite person. I ordered my usual size even though a lot of the reviews said they ran big. When I received them they were roomy, but the extra room allowed me to put in an insole I had purchased for running shoes that have great arch support and now they fit like a glove even with socks on!

These are the cutest boots, but as other reviewers have noted, they run about a size too large. They fit perfectly around my calves, and are a great height for my short frame (I'm 5'2"). Can't wait for rainy season here in San Francisco!
