It's a really pretty shoe but it literally a full size off. Im a firm 8 in all shoes ordered an 8.5 based on reviews, need a 9. Waiting to receive the 9. Hoping it fits bc I love the look. Order a full size larger.

Love French Sole’s Zeppa but it isn’t built for walking an entire day - I already have a few other colors. I wear this for work and it is fine. I am a 7.5 and always order this style half a size up. I live howbit shimmers a bit and goes well wearing a black outfit.

Lovely soft leather and just enough of a heel to keep them from being as uncomfortable as flat-flats. Definitely buy a half or even full size larger than usual. I normally wear an 8 but couldn’t even get my foot in the 8 in these. The 8 1/2 is fine, and I maybe could have gone up to the 9.

These are cute shoes. I love the round toe and complete lack of toe cleavage. I had a pair of Zeppa several years ago and got another pair recently. The Black Nappa is not as buttery soft as the other styles of leather. They are pretty tight, and I had to order a half size up which still feels tight. A full size up was too big, and I was stepping out of the shoes. Stretching out the tight shoes will do the trick for me.

So cute. And so tight. I didn't think my toe knuckles were prominent, but apparently they are. In this shoe they barely squeezed into the toe box.

have always loved this shoe, but unfortunately the right shoe is strangely stretched out and so it gaps a lot. I've ordered another pair which I'm assuming will fit properly.

I loved these shoes and bought them in 2 sizes. Definitely order your true size. It seems tight, but the super soft leather will stretch out quickly. They were so classically pretty, and think the little wedge makes this shoe better than the Sloop.

I love this shoe!! But, it runs ridiculously small--order at least a 1/2 -to full size larger. Couldn't even get my foot in--Felt like a Cinderella sister! Adorable--comfortable, runs a little wide. I wish Zappos carried the full line.

I bought these shoes in two colors to wear when I travel. I had to return them several times to get the right fit (thank goodness for free shipping/returns!). I normally wear a size 8 in a closed-heel shoe, but needed a 9 to 9.5 to get the right fit lengthwise, but the bigger size tends to fit poorly in width. get a lot of compliments. I wish I could say they are comfortable, but they are not. I am hopeful they will soften (they are leather) as I wear them. For the price, I am not sure it is worth the hassle.

These are cute shoes. Because of the rounded toe, they make the feet look a bit shorter. These shoes run very small. I have a pair of French Sole Passport flats and the 8½ fits great. I ordered the Zeppa in a 9 based on customer reviews suggesting that these shoes runs small. And they were still too short. I probably would take a 9½. Other than that, they seem like nice shoe.

I love the style but usually 11 fits great. I had to have the shoes stretched at shoe shop to make them comfortable.

These are beautiful shoes - a subtle grey/black that would probably go well with lots of neutrals. The leather is soft and gentle on your feet. I ordered my side and they fit "right' but are a little tight at the heel and where the edge of the shoe meets my big toe. I imagine they might break in and be perfect but I'm sure I'd need to work through several blisters first and I'm just not up for that - so back they go. Will search Zappos (fabulous as always) for another option.

I really like this shoe, but had to return it. I bought it in a 8 1/2 and a 9. 8 1/2 was too tight and the although the 9 felt just about perfect, I did not like the way my big toe was visible at the top part of the shoe. So, back they went. Bummer, because it is really really difficult finding a simple, stylish, flat in navy.

I have two pairs of French Sole Zeppas that I bought last season in size 8. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. This pair I ordered in size 8 also and they are too small (short) I have been wearing them in hopes that they stretch, but a better solution would have been to return them for a size 8½. I do not know why the sizing would change from one year to the next.

I bought these shoes to switch out at a wedding after my heels got uncomfortable. They are very comfortable, the leather is very soft. They don't need to be broken in. Other reviewers recommended to buy a size up, which I did. I normally wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and I bought an 8. They were perfect for my sore feet. Maybe a tad wide. They did rub a little bit above my big toe on the top of my foot after a while. I've worn them several times now and they are still very comfortable. They only thing I'm not in love with is the toe is pretty round and since I have small feet anyway, I feel like they make my feet look kind of short.

This shoe is so cute but I think it runs small. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and this 7.5 was too snug. I have a wide foot and the width seemed fine, just a little short.

Great-looking shoe, just doesn't work on my bunions. I did order 1/2 size larger as suggested by others, but still didn't work for me. So disappointed, but I love, love, love Zappos. Their return policy allows me to try and try to find shoes that will work for my feet. Thank you, Zappos!!

I love the way the toe is cut a bit higher up the foot than in most shoes of this style. I highly recommend starting out with 1/2 size up from your usual. At first got my usual 8.5, My toes went all the way to the end of the shoe -- which is okay in a flat, but the problem was that the they dug into the top of my feet. This would probably especially be a problem if you have bunions or bone spurs (which make the foot wider, or more raised up across the toes). The 9 is only a teeny bit longer -- a perfect fit. The top does not fit as tightly so they are much more comfortable. I love the gun metal color. More elegant than shinier silver shoes I've seen. The insole is very soft and comfortable (I always wear these on bare feet). All in all, very pretty shoes, as comfortable as a flat is going to be.

This is my 3rd pair of French Soul shoes. The first pair were gray and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I wore them out and purchased a black pair and noticed that they were a little tighter around the front of the shoe. It's taken a few months but they're finally stretched out to the point where they don't irritate my toe joint and I can wear them most of the day. The Zeppas are the same if not worse. I usually wear an 8 but had to send these back for an 8-1/2. They cut right across my foot and hit my big toe joint which causes a fair amount of pain. I know eventually they'll stretch out but it's still annnoying. Overall, it's a very comfortable shoe. Very soft leather on the inside. Nice little heel so you're not completely flat. The insole tends to come unglued in the toe box after wearing a few times.

I question the quality control of this product. A while ago, I got a size 7.5 in black leather and they were too big. This time, I ordered a 7.5 in taupe and they were too small (short). i really liked the look, but can't seem to get a pair that fits.

Run half size small but no half size available so have to just return.

Shoes are beautiful, leather buttery soft. Unfortunately they run very small. I usually wear 9.5 -10. Ordered 10 and they are too small - I never need 10.5. Tried walking around the house, hoping they will stretch, but gave up when felt a blister forming. Sad to return them. I ordered a similar style ara Bel and will keep those.

I love FS NY Zeppa shoes, but these were not as comfortable as usual, and looked very dull. I returned them. They run half a size small.
