I've had this shoe for 4-5 month's maybe and I have to say although it's cute and comfy, it hasn't really held up well. The heel has slouched over time and the fit then became very loose. Not sure I'd recommend or buy again although I like the style overall.

I love my Zeppas, but they do run a little small. I buy an 8 and my toe is right to the end, but they don't hurt at all. The leather is so soft, they stretch out just enough to always be comfortable. I even have a bunion on one toe, and they are still the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. And I don't have to stretch them like I used to do with other shoes. So now I only wear them. Which is why I wish they made more colors and patterns of the Zeppa. (Actually, I wish they would make them from non-leather materials, since I am Vegan. Please, please!) The Sloops are OK, but the Zeppa's heel is more comfortable. Try a pair!

If you wear a size 8 order size 9 unless you like your toes butting right up against the top of the shoe. Delightfully comfortable but they do run a full size small.

I loved this shoe, buttery soft. And it is not completely flat with a wedge, which makes it much more comfortable for me. I wish they had the burgundy color or the cherry color, so I could get more! Also it accommodates my bunions, because it is very wide in the toe region, which I love, even though I have narrowish feet, Bs elsewhere. Oh, I take an 8.5 if the shoe is true to size, and with this I needed a 9.

I just received my taupe grey Zeppas today as I am planning on wearing them for a trip to NY at Thanksgiving time. I was pleased with the color and overall quality. They are soft like butter. The shininess is subtle and adds just enough textural interest to the shoe. I liked the fact that they came up higher around the foot. More support and a little more warmth although you wouldn't wear these with socks. They don't leave you with the dreaded toe cleavage. The low wedge is nice and gives you a little lift and support. I ordered an 8.5 as I am an 8 in sandals like flipflops but wear an 8.5 in sneakers and boots. They fit just right with no room to spare. I decided to keep them in 8.5 because I felt that if I ordered a half size up, they would end up being too big in the length. These are so soft that they will stretch out a little after the first few wears. I am taking my chances. Overall, I am happy with my purchase; just think they are a little overpriced.

I have these in size 10 and they fit like a size 9. I love them but, seriously, the sizing is off. They are made in Italy and I can just imagine they are making a European 40 and calling it a size 10 US. It's not. Everything else about this shoe is amazing.

In my mind, these shoes were fugly. The gold pattern looks kind of cheap in person. I thought they made my feet look the opposite of delicate. The front part of the shoe comes up too far on the foot. No way are these worth the price. I'd maybe buy them if they were at Old Navy for like $30. That's the level of quality/style I think they appear as in person.

Love these shoes. I am "toning down" the heel height of my shoe inventory and these are perfect for casual and work. I wear a 7, but went by the recommendation of a size up - right on the nose. Perfect fit! My husband even commented on how nice they look. Thanks, Zappos, for the review feature of your site, which is immeasurably vital to buying shoes online!

Comfortable, like the little wedge. I took only 1/2 size larger, but seems like most took 1 size larger. I was really glad to read the comments as I would have ordered my actual size and was happy that I didn't. I ordered the black ones also and love just as much. I will be ordering other colors. They look great on.

These are really comfortable, but they do run a bit small and narrow. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9 and needed a 9.5. They look good with jeans or slacks.

I love French Soles. I have about seven pairs all purchased from Zappos. This pair (pewter) is very pretty and will go with any color. Unfortunately the color has rubbed off in a few spots. Mostly where my heel touches the carpet when I drive. I'm still glad I have them and I wear them a lot.

This style of French Sole runs small. I take a half size larger than in Sloop. I wore a pair on a city vacation and they were very comfortable on city sidewalks.

I think I would love these shoes, however I couldn't fit them on my feet! First time with Zappos that I've purchased a pair of shoes and they are completely too small. I wear an 8 and would definately need a nine in this shoe. Back they go.

These shoes are soft as butter, even though they are metallic. Definitely shiny -- like chrome, almost like a mirror. I ordered half size up, but could have gone full size up. They are so soft, the 1/2 will probably work -- next time I'll go full size, though.

Great shoes! So soft they're almost like slippers but with a firmer sole. Order 1/2 size up for length. They stretch as you wear them so don't order up for width.

Love these shoes! They are beautiful and SO-OOOO comfortable! I don't feel them at all. Got tons of compliments. First ordered my normal size, but it was too tight, so I got a new pair with + 1/2. Maybe they are a little bit too wide. Order them! When you will get these sweet shoes you will be so happy!

Great flat that is extremely comfortable but also provides good support. The small wedged sole is cushiony so you do not feel the surface on which you are walking. Perfect for day or night!

These shoes are wonderful! For a person with bunions, dodging the surgery...these shoes feel just divine! I didn't order up, size 9 was perfect. May go back for another pair! Zappos is just the best!

Love these shoes. I usually wear a 7, but tried them on in a local store and found I needed a 7.5. They are super comfy and have better arch support than most flats. Great walking shoe for San Francisco.

I got these in burgundy (and in less than 24 hours!). Very pretty color, not too sparkly, perfect fit. I got the size I normally buy. My feet are a wide 5 1/2 on the foot measurer thingie. I usually wear a 36 or 6. These shoes fit absolutely perfectly. They're wide enough, they're not too short. In fact there's still a touch of room at the end of the toes. Very soft leather. Like the tiny wedge. Will look very cute with full skirts or skinny pants. I like the "slipper" cut, but could see how others might not find it sexy enough. Am already thinking about getting black or taupe.

Zappos has to be one of the best web sites one can deal with, and the French Sole ballet flat my daughter had asked for were beautiful and comfortable, so no need for the free return shipping! This was one of four different items, for three different persons, I ordered through Zappos, and will always search their site first when I want shoes.
