This is a great looking flat! And comfortable. Love the textured suede. They do run small, as it says, so I ordered 1/2 size up. \r\n\r\nI looked at the Sloop style as well, but thought the added heel structure on this style would be comfier. I wanted to add a little arch support, so I bought the Spenco arch support insoles and wore them in the shoes. I cooked in them all day on Thanksgiving and never got sore or tired.

\r\nThese shoes are comfortable and very attractive. The challenge is getting the right size. I started with an 8, then tried an 8 1/2 and finally ended with a 9 that fits perfectly (like an 8 normally).

These shoes are so very comfortable! No breaking in period needed. They are stylish and look good with jeans or with slacks. I liked them so much, I purchased an additional pair in the brown wave. I plan to purchase two of the other colors as well. Great buy!

I have this shoe in burgundy, and it\'s a beautiful shoe. The color is perfect for this fall, and leans a little toward a rich mauve. What really surprises me is that everyone else finds french soles to run small, but since i don\'t wear any sock with these, they fit me just right. I wear 10 and have a medium to wide foot, and the 10 is fine. Besides, the leather is so soft that it molds to my foot. I\'m worried that the soft material will wear out on the heel on my right foot when driving.

I usually wear 7.5 had to order half size up to 8. Also, my big toes were so close to the leather you could see them up against the shoe which is why I have to return. Shoe is soft and comfortable otherwise.

Too small! I am always a comfortable size 8 but these were too short in length. Fine in width and seem like they'll be very comfortable once I get a bigger size.

Believe all of the reviews--these shoes run small. I wear a 10 and ended up with an 11 in this shoe. Cute and stylish. Had a little bit of rubbing on the back of my foot but nothing a little moleskin padding didn't cure. Not much in the way of arch support and while there is cushioning in the heel there isn't much at the ball of the foot. I added some padding there too. Overall, I like the shoes even with the extra stuff i had to add. I like the style/design.

I purchased a blue pair of Zeppas and liked them so much that I ordered a black pair from Zappos. I like them for their small wedge heel and the softness of the leather. They are very comfortable for casual wear, but I can't imagine walking or standing in them all day. I bought a half-size longer than normal.

Like other reviewers I too had to size up 1/2 size. These are adorable soft, slipper-like shoes. I especially like the heel which gives a little lift.

I love the look of this shoe, it's very stylish and practical for city living. Despite their very soft feel, I did have to "break them in", though and I continue to feel slight discomfort in the right shoe if I wear them too long - likely due to a bunion on the big toe. Quality shoe, worth the price, I recommend putting taps on the soles, they will wear out quickly!

First of all, as usual, Zappos is great! Easy to order, the product arrived promptly. Secondly, these shoes are so cute! I have tried on French Soles in the past and I think my foot is that in between size - 8's a little snug and 8.5 too big, so I went with the little snug, hoping they would stretch, which they have. Look great with skinny pants, shorts, skirts - whatever!

Love these shoes. Love love love these shoes, however, they are going back. They are soooo small! I ordered my usual size 7, returned those, ordered 7.5 and now will return those. I'm sorry too, because I love these shoes! They are just not built for my feet. My sister who has smaller and narrower feet wears them everyday.

I liked the way these looked online but not in person. I ordered the black wave and I can't stand the color. It's black suede with little shiny dots all over it, and not youthful. The style isn't youthful either because it comes up too high on the top. These would be cute if they were solid suede or solid patent leather with a lower cut on the top and a more pointed toe. They need some feminine touches. Also, they seemed wide to me and I needed to go 1/2 size up. If my feet were a little wider I think they would have been comfortable.

I wanted to love these shoes, I really did. They have all of the potential to be loved by me, really they do. I like the patent version and also the suede version alike. My problem is that they come up too far on my foot and seem like I'm wearing a slipper instead of a flat, and it just seems odd for some reason. They feel really great on, and the tiny wedge is just the right height so you don't see it, and they look flat, but give a little lift, and shape your legs a bit. I love the idea of these shoes, but sadly, they are too slipper-like for me to hang on to. Maybe I just need some toe cleavage?

I'm sorry these fit so poorly because they are really cute and the leather is nice and soft. I ordered + 1/2 size, as recommended, and they are still short, tight across the instep and loose in the heel. Don't know whose foot served as the model, but not mine. Too bad.

I bought the French Sole Zeppa in blue. Initially I ordered my size, an 8.5, but I had to send back for the 9. This is one of the most luxurious pair of shoes I have owned. They are buttery soft yet durable. I get compliments on them all the time. Excellent for traveling or a lot of walking around. If this shoe had come with a stack of business cards I would have given them all out from everyone asking me where I got them. With the 1/2 size up, they were perfect.

Love this shoe, but I’m having to send it back for a 1/2 size up. Every pair of shoes I own are 8.5. My big toe was poking the very tip of the inside of this shoe. For the first time ever, I recommend going up 1/2 a size. I have a wide toe box. It was a little snug across the top of my foot there, but not terrible, so hoping that will be better going up in size.
