My last pair of Sorels (made in Canada) the liners didn't come out every time I took my boots off. These just don't feel the same. They are more difficult to put on and take off. Very little support.

The boots run to small, I read on the Website to size down a full size and I only did it 1/2 a size, but they were to small. There are also very heavy.

Ok,
These are Not the Sorel Caribou's from Canada... they are cheapening them.. Quality isn't the same... Over Priced.... There's guy that cuts boots in half on youtube... he was not impressed by what he saw.... neither was I.... however.. at this time.. it is what it is... Just wish they would have made them the way Mr Kaufmen made them. From Canada... Time will tell if they hold up.. people have had the Kaufman's 20 30 40 years and they still are in amazing shape...
Also, when you take the booty out, take a look inside... terrible, nothing for warmth comfort arch nothing... I had to ad a sheep wool insert...again, quality not so good

I'm a size 5 1/2 and have a high arch. It was painful to get the boot on because the area of the arch on the top of the foot was so tight. The reviews said to size down but unfortunately they don't have a size 6 in stock. If you have a high arch size up a 1/2 to full size to be able to get the boot on and wear it comfortably.
Customer Service was great about the return and made it easy. I will order both 1/2 and a full size up next season.

Boot is high quality as usual but seems to run very small. I have several pairs of Sorel boots in 7.5 but in these I have already bought and returned both a 7.5 and an 8 because they were both too small

I was impressed with the warm lining and burly sole of these boots, but the stiffness of the boot irritated my ankles when I tried them on, so I returned them. I typically wear a size 7 shoe and got these in a 6.5 after trying them on in-store. The 6.5 was a little big... in just the right way for a boot like this that I'd wear with thick socks.

These boots were very snug and warm and so comfortable, but even though I ordered down a half size to a 7 1/2, they made my feet look enormous! I felt like I was wearing giant man boots! I decided to return for the more feminine looking Joan of Arctics.

The boot are quality. However, they are very heavy! They are difficult to remove, even when places are loosened. The toe area is wide and clunky, pressing both the gas and brake pedal in my car at the same time! I now have to hold my right boot at certain angles to engage only the gas or brake pedals. I wish the boots were generally more comfortable and they cannot be returned.

They are warm and comfortable. However, they are not very slimming; very chunky.

These boots are too heavy and bulky for what I was looking for. They are very warm! I'll be returning

I recently bought a new pair of Caribou boots (my old ones lasted for almost 20 years!!). I bought the same size and so far they are much narrower than my old pair. I hope they break-in with more use.

These boots look very cute and keep my feet warm. I live where there is snow for most of the winter, so I usually just throw on my boots to run to the store, etc. They are really not that comfortable to walk around in. They rub against my calf and it just feels awkward and clunky.

I really want to love these shoes. I feel like I am the only person that has sizing issues? I ordered 2 pairs: my size and a half size down and I'm swimming in them. Hoping the 3rd pair fit correctly.

I bought these for trips to snowy areas, Massachuchets and Colorado. They did the job, but I would not recommend this style for others. I found the boot to be very heavy and hard to tie tightly. Additionally, it fit great everywhere except the toe are. It narrows greatly at the toes in the inside liner. Had the liner been a touch larger in the toe area, the boot would fit great. It was however great at keeping my feet dry!

I just bought my second pair so I have no idea how this pair will do. The last pair were great and lasted 7 years. Unfortunately, the evaluation is requested even before it has adequately snowed here. Whoever is sending out the requests for reviews needs to take a look at the weather and send out the request for reviews after adequate weather has taken place to confirm the quality. It's stupid to write a review of an untested product, and that's what the review program is asking of me.

I purchased these to have a boot to wear in the cold weather in Minnesota and for the Iowa snows. These boots fit large and made my size 8.5 feet look like a mens 11. They were very warm, but felt heavy and too large to walk properly in. I ended up exchanging them for a 1964 PAC 2 which are the warmth I was looking for along with the size.

These boots would be excellent if you're standing for hours in the snowsuit for walking they are quite cumbersome and really don't allow for fluid ankle movement. I'm willing to sacrifice some ease of walking for warmth but this was a bit too much.

I got these boots for chirstmas. I am usually a size 7 but when I bought them in store the clerk recommended I went up to 7.5. Unfortunately this was a terrible idea. The were too big and my foot slipped. I tried to put an insole in them before I returned them because I really liked them a lot. I found that when I walked in them, the back of the boot bent and hit me right on my Achilles tendon and caused a huge blister. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I am wondering if I order a 7 if this will help or if it is a design flaw in the boot? HELP

These boots are adorable for walking around town, waterproof, good for 30 degree weather. Make sure to wear proper mix calf socks thick enough to prevent ankle blisters. There is a thick edged solid glue seam located near ankle inside of the boot shell that will easily tear up your ankles.

I was so excited to wear my new boots for our snowy weekend! I bought them because I know Sorel is good quality, and I love the way they look! I wore them with mid-leg socks and tight jeans but they hurt my heels and Achilles badly! I know the size is correct. They fit my feet okay, they just rub that area. I'm going sock shopping. Maybe some thicker socks will help? I hope so. Because they were pricey and I love the way they look.

These boots are nice and warm - my complaint is that my laces are already destroyed due to the metal hooks. I've only had them for a few months. Disappointed in that. I will need to buy new ones already.

I have had this version boot for 5 years and love it. I am disappointed because while I love the color and look of this boot, the foot and ankle part of it is way too wide. It looks like a woman's boot on top and a man's wide boot on the botttom. This leaves too much room for the foot.
I am so sorry to have to return these.
