I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but after they were delivered all my fears we're gone! They are light (weight-wise), cute and fit true to size. They are a little big with normal socks on, but just right with winter socks. They aren't "snowboarding boots" at all, maybe structured a little rigid, but not bulky or heavy at all. I'm heading to northern Nunavut in six weeks for work, so I'll have to update after then for functionality in severe/extreme cold (-40 and more).

I had purchased a pair of these boots 5 years ago for walking around my Minnesota campus and they have been absolutely amazing. I would always wear a thicker sock as they ran a bit large: I'm typically a true 6 so that's what I ordered. After my boots experienced tragedy by being chewed on by my dog, I knew I had to re-order and went half a size down. I'm happy the say the quality is just as phenomenal, and they fit even better in the new size. Living in snowy, cold Minnesota, these are a must!

These were a Christmas gift for my husband, He has an old pair that he has had for 20 years! I know they are not made in Canada anymore, So far the only difference seems to be that thses dont look quite as bulky as his old ones and his old ones were actually a totally different size. I went with what he wears in regular shoes now and the fit perfectly. I hope these last as long as the other ones. I will let you know. So far he is very happy and excited to have a new pair :)

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She goes to school in Vermont and things get very cold there. She absolutely loves them. She says they are very comfy and fit perfectly. Not only that but the are pretty cute! Now I want a pair :)

I love these boots. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually take and they fit great. After the first tromp in the woods, the felts packed to fit my feet perfectly. My last sorels lasted 38 years before the soles wore down enough to lose traction on ice. I'm hoping these hold out as well.

I've had my Joans for 8 years, and as I was scrolling around and wearing them today, figured I'd write a review! They're pretty much the perfect winter boot. They're true to size, with enough room for a thick sock. The removable liner is warm and toasty, and you can toss it in the washer and dryer to clean easily. I treated the suede when I first got them and haven't re-treated them since then; they've withstood 8 cold hard Idaho winters and are still going strong! They keep my feet warm and dry, even going through snow. They aren't waterproof, though, so if you're in a lot of water they're not the ones to pick. If you want to stay warm and cute, though, these are the boots for you!

My husband bought these for me for christmas and they are everything and then some. Quality is unsurpassable. They are on the heavier side but to me that indicated quality material used. The are absolutely waterproof. Attractive. I love them. Just what I need living in the northeast

My amazing wife has been asking me to get her a pair of boots that could meets two criteria . One look cute and two be suitable for outdoor winter activities with our children. Apparently I hit a home run and have you guys to thank for that. She was excited to receive a boot that looks chi and functions. This was a gift I avoided the last couple years but took a risk and went with these because of the know quality and reputation of sorel. Thank you. Happy wife = happy life.

This is by far the best winter boots I've ever purchased. This is actually the second one of this style I've owned. Living in the Midwest, it's a must owning one of these. It's perfect for those below zero degree temperature days, and even a very bad snow storm. I've worn these out and they kept my toes nice, dry, and warm.

Got these boots about a month ago. I purchanced them and while I was waiting for them, I decided to read the reviews. Was a little worried after reading, a lot of the reviews complained about not being warm enough, product breaking after a couple time used.... Once I have received the boots, I fell in love. So warm and comfy!! Most importantly, so fricken cute!!! Which is the main reason I purchased them!! I live in California, not really needing them for the snow. Just rainy days around town and they have been perfect for that!! Want to say Thank a You for the real reviews of this boot because they are helping me take care of them. I'm paying attention to how I put them on so the side straps don't break. I have had them for over a month now. Wear them almost everyday and as of now, no problems!!! Will update if anything changes!!

Very comfortable, warm, winter boot. I don't have to worry about my feet getting cold or wet this winter and I'll look good wearing them too!

They are amazing! My only issue is putting them on its a little snug to get your ankle/ foot through but once on they are perfect cozy and the warmest boots i have ever worn!

I Bought these for a trip to New York. Was nervous about them because I have plantar fasciitis and most shoes hurt my feet after prolonged wear. I wanted to have warm feet and also comfy. These exceeded my expectations. My feet were WARM and I never had discomfort from walking miles each day. I am anxious to get another pair!!

My tennis shoe size is 8.5-9, I ordered a size 10 and it fits great when I am wearing my thick wool socks. They are not sloppy when walking. Warmth: warmer than other winter boots I've had. I plan to use these for when the temperatures get below 0 F.

My first pair of Sorel boots and I will never buy another brand again! Perfect for the weather here in Illinois when it goes from deep snow to water puddles. My feet stay dry and comfy all day long without being too hot. One thing I love about them is how clean they look even after being out in the snow and salt. They fit a little on the big side which works well when I want to wear thick socks. I bought my normal size.

I haven't had much experience with these in the snow yet but they seem like they will really hold up. I could see them getting a little heavy if you walk in them for awhile. My shoe size is a 6.5 but usually purchase 7 in boots. The sizing chart on the Sorel website indicated I should get a 6. This made me nervous so I still went with a 6.5 and they seem to fit fine.

The Caribou boot is a great product! Nice and warm for our Minnesota cold winters. I found that the boot does fit slightly large as I had to go down 1 shoe size.

I live in the Rocky Mountains, and needed a sturdy warm pair of boots for winter. These fit the bill. They're tall enough that snow doesn't get into them easily and keep my feet toasty. Keep in mind when ordering, they run a little large, which worked perfectly in my favor because I have wide width feet. I purchased a size 7.5 (usually a size 7W) and have plenty of wiggle room with thick socks. I recommend these boots to everyone!

I bought the WOMEN'S JOAN OF ARCTIC BOOT for my daughter for Christmas. When I opened them I tried them on myself to see how they fit, I liked them so much I kept the pair and ordered her a new pair. One for me One for you Very happy with my purchases!

These boots are stylish and comfortable. Got great, normally a 5.5 so I can wear a thicker sock.

HAVE NOT OWNED A BETTER PAIR OF BOOTS IN MY 54 YEARS!! THE QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING NOT TO MENTION THE COMFORT!! THEY RUN TRUE TO SIZE AS WELL. I HAVE WORN THESE BOOTS SEVERAL TIMES AND CONTINUE TO GET COMPLEMENTS!!! ONE WORD SUMS IT UP FOR ME..... FABULOUS!!!!!!!!! PS..
