Was looking all over the web for a new Winter Boot for my wife this winter due to the the harsh conditions so far this year. Sorel was my answer! Who thinks you have to sacrifice function over fashion? Obviously you don't know this boot! I have been a Sorel consumer myself for many years due to my occupation & what better place to look than here. This is exactly what I was looking for! Excellent quality materials inside & out for the purpose I was looking for her. I have looked at many sites, brands and styles but NOTHING comes close to what I found in this boot. This will probably be the last pair I will have to buy her as my pair have lasted me over 15 years and still wear to this day! I encourage all who read this review to look no further as well. I guarantee you will not find another Women's Winter boot that will come close! Lastly, I have posted a pic of the boots I still wear today.

Usually I'm an 8.5 but in these boots I ordered a size 9 thinking I may want to wear a thicker sock in the winter months. The size is perfect and they were super comfortable right out of the box. I'm in a warm climate in SoCal but we went up to the mountain recently and in 33 degrees my feet felt totally warm and the grip on the sole was perfect to prevent me from slipping on ice. Highly recommend!

These boots are amazing! I bought them for my sons for our recent trip to Iceland. We were outside snowmobiling in the glaciers all day and their feet stayed warm throughout the day. I highly recommend them! Thank you Sorel!

I'm a budgeter, I love having a budget and sticking to it, so I have a tendency of being frugal with every purchase! I have been eyeing these boots for some time, and finally decided to get them. If anything, i could return them when they came in, right? Well, without a doubt they are worth every stinkin penny :) These shoes are so comfortable, and just taking them out of the box I can tell the quality. I'm super excited to finally own them! They are waterproof and so warm as well! One of the best shoe purchases ever!!

When I was 12, my Dad took me to the hardware store and bought me winter boots, a pair of Sorel pac boots. I loved them so much, I kept wearing them even thought they were too small for my feet. Many years later as an adult, I bought a new pair of boots, another brand. They were decent, but no where near what I expected and that was when I decided someday, I was going to get another pair of Sorels! Well after too many years, I finally order a new pair and got them. WOW! I am not sure what else to say! The quality is unmatched, they fit perfect, they kept the snow and water out and when I put my feet in them, they are so soft it feels like a hug! Thank you Sorel for continuing to make the best boots in the world!

After moving from Washington DC to South Dakota, I was looking for the perfect boot to help me survive the cold and snowy winter. I ordered the Joan of Arctic boots from Sorel and they have been perfect for the -30 degree weather! They keep me feet dry and warm no matter how snowy or wet it is outside. I definitely recommend these shoes.

These boots are well made, comfortable, warm and waterproof. They were comfortable enough to spend a work day in when I forgot other shoes during a storm, yet warm enough for a day spent on the snow and ice with family. I've gotten many compliments. Happy with this purchase.

I know other Sorel styles very in fit, but these are spot on. They are so cute and comfortable! I have them in multiple colors.

I live in the Midwest and we have been bombarded this year with extremely low temperatures and slot of snow. We had about 4-6 inches of snow over the weekend and I was able to wear my boots yesterday! These boots are amazing. My feet were not cold one time and they had good traction. The liner pulls out if need be and the laces were good and strong. I was so amazed my feet did not get cold once. Love love love these boots. I was so hesitant in spending this much mo eu on a snow boot but they are soworth it!!!

These boots are incredible for extreme cold and snow weather. They are a bit bulky so I don't really suggest them as an everyday wear, but when the weather is awful and you need to go about your day, they're great. I suggest you remove the fur boot part and put on your foot, then slide your foot in to the boot. It's way easier as again the boot is quite bulky. Overall, amazing for bad weather!!

These boots are awesome! SUPER warm and perfect for all types of winter weather! Fashion wise, I like there better than the Joan of Ark boots they work well with snow pants but also looks great with jeans and legging. They do run big, I did buy a size up and returned them as they were huge! I'm a true 7.5 and I still have room in them.

Comfortable and keeps your feet toasty

I purchased these to replace my worn out Tivoli IIIs, which weren't quite warm enough for where I'm at in Wyoming. These boots fit a lot tighter across the top of my foot than the Tivolis or my slim Caribous, which makes them more difficult to put on than I had hoped. I'd probably buy the half size up were I to order again. I keep trying to use the tabs that hold the liner and trim in place to put the boots on and then the snaps pop (as designed to replace the liner) so I'll have to break that habit. Otherwise, super boots!

Stylish and warm. I normally wear a size 7 but in sorels I usually get a 7.5.

These boots are exactly as pictured. They are stylish and very cute. My winters are cold and snowy and these keep my feet warm and dry. Be a little careful with sizing though. The size chart had me at an 8.5 but I always wear a 9. I purchased a 9.5 in hopes they'd be comfortable with thick socks and they were perfect. They are a little difficult to get off and on but loosening the laces helps.

The styling is adorable. I purchased the grey color. It's a nice neutral that goes with everything. The synthetic fur looks pretty without feeling unethical. Totally recommend these boots!

So far the boots have kept me warm and dry. A little difficult to get on and off. Stylish.

I love the look of these boots for really snowy days. If I have to dress for the snow at least I can look good at the same time

My husband has had a pair of these since the 1980's and they finally cracked on the back heel at the seam so we ordered a new pair. He said they were comfortable from the first day and the quality also looks to be just as high as in the 1980's.

Just received my caribou boots in the shale color and I LOVE them! I could not be happier. They are adorable and stylish and seem like they'll be able to keep my feet dry and warm in the snow. They are extremely comfortable and feel really sturdy. I was worried about which size to order but after reading a few reviews I decided to order half a size smaller. I normally were a 9 but I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Cannot wait to try these out in the snow!

This boot runs big. I ordered a 9. I'm usually between a 8.5-9 anyway, so I thought it would be ok. It was at least 2 sizes too big. I ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly! Keeps your feet warm and dry. Best boot I have ever owned.
