Love shoes...the second my feet started to hurt. Went to a department store and picked up some of those sport socks or maybe I just needed some new socks. Anyway it’s been awesome, feet feel weird when they aren’t on, I’ve gotten so used to them. Just walking five blocks around the neighborhood I felt the burn. Buying another pair soon in white.

I was very impressed with Skechers Shape-Up-Metabolize. They do everything, they said they would. I just love them! My legs feel great after walking in the shoes. Overall, I would recommend these shoes to anyone, wanting a good workout.

Just extraordinary ! I appreciate comfort and style while simply walking to get fit I love them. I just wish they would have come without shoe laces...I am that lazy ! You really feel physical efforts in your leg when you wear this shoe.

I love the Skechers Shape Ups. I have bone spurs on both heels and wearing tennis shoes are a real pain. The Shape of the Skechers is so unique and I haven't had any pain wearing them. I wear them all day. Recommended them to my sister and she bought a pair. She loves them too.

A friend of mine kept saying how much she loved her Skechers Shape-Ups so I was tempted to try them. However, I have wide feet, and local stores and most web sites do not have the Shape-Ups in wide sizes. Also, I have pronation in both feet so I asked my chiropractor about Shape-Ups before buying them. He couldn’t give me definite advice without actually seeing the shoes so what was I to do? Furthermore, I wasn’t sure whether to buy size 8 or 8.5. When I discovered that Zappos provides free shipping plus free shipping again if the shoes must be returned, I decided to try the Shape-Ups; and I went with the 8.5 extra wides. Then I went to my chiropractor while wearing my new Shape-Ups since they were so comfortable. He found no problems with them. I didn’t wear them for a few days because of all the snow in our area; I wore boots instead when I was outside. When I put my Shape-Ups back on, they felt sooooooo comfortable. I really like them and would recommend them for others like me (66 years old). I also tell them to order from Zappos since I find Zappos has the best price with free shipping both ways. The shoes arrived in record time. The size 8.5 is best so you may want to go with the larger size if you are considering two different lengths.

I love these sneakers. They offer a cushy, supportive, bouncy, Tigger like feeling. I do feel the calf strengthening while in distance walking, especially if it is a fast pace power walk. I wear them to work & have some walking commute so they feel good under the feet and give the calves a work out at the same time. It truly is a simulated walking on the beach barefoot feeling to your legs.

Love my Sketchers Shape Ups-Metabolize! I usually wear 5.5 or 6 and ordered the 6. The 6 fits perfectly and any smaller would be too snug! Experienced a little soreness through the back/hip after using them the first couple times, but the soreness went away (probably my own fault for not stretching enough) and I now even wear them to the grocery store!

I had been looking at these shoes for quite awhile and finally decided to give them a try. All I can say is... these are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn - new balance eat your heart out. I have had a lot of trouble finding shoes that gave my high arched foot a comfortable fit. I will look no further.

Still unsure about purchasing this product? Don’t be. Wearing them is like walking on air. After standing or walking for a period of time, I have a tendency to experience lower back pain unless I’m wearing these shoes. I wear them for the comfort. Any firming or toning of muscles is viewed as a bonus. I give them three stars for style only because I have not yet grown accustomed to the shape of the bottom of the shoe.

I’ve worn MBTs non stop for the last 2+ years. Decided to try the Skecher Shape Up because of the lower cost. Having a wide width available is great. Shape Ups are easy to walk in - arch support is a little less than MBTs. If Skechers could make a Shape UP Clog with a covered toe and adjustable backstrap - they would sell many.

Most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever had. I can wear them all day with pleasure, but they shine on the road. I wish they had them in wide sizes, but going a half size up in medium was a perfectly acceptable compromise.

These shoes have saved me at work! They are so comfortable to work in, I’m actually WALKING around the lab instead of clomping/stomping flat-footed. I did order a half size up after reading other reviews here, and good thing I did, they fit perfectly! I will be buying several more of these. And as always, Zappos is the best internet buying experience BAR NONE. I have wide feet, and do not know what I would do without the selection available here.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever had on. Sized a bit small, so order a 1/2 or 1 size up.

I have two pairs of Skechers Shape Ups. I love them both. My posture is better, my back doesn’t ache, they’re super comfortable and they make me a bit TALLER. What more can I say? I’ve recommended them to all my friends and told them that Zappos has the best selection, price and prompt shipping.

LOVE my sketchers shape up shoes!!! I hiked all over China during a 2 week vacation... the Great Wall, too. I especially appreciate the cushioning as I work long days (9-11 hours) on cement floors. I found that the sizing runs small and am wearing an 11 instead of a 10. I am noticing that my feet are sweating slightly more than usual. I am sure that I am getting a work out, as I could feel sore muscles as I got used to the shoes. I will be purchasing another pair in a different color for fashion diversity.

I LOVE my new shoes! I put them on and wore them for 8 1/2 hours straight. They feel like walking on super cushy carpet I feel like I bounce when I walk they are extremely comfortable! I had arch problems so needed a good shoe. I have been wearing them EVERY DAY to work. Will be ordering another pair soon from Zappos. I wear a 5 1/2 so Zappos has been my dream come true. I love these shoes! They are so comfortable. I wore them for the first time to Sea World all day leaving my regular shoes in the car, just in cas… They were not only comfortable, but my muscles were sore the next day--in a good way! I think they really work. They’re so cushy, I want to leave them on when I get home to walk around the house in! I highly recommend them. I’m going to purchase a black pair for work, too!

I am a pharmacist and on my feet at least 8 hours a day. These shoes are very comfortable and do exercise your legs and buttocks, you can feel it. Work out while you work, but I think they would great to wear running errands or walking the mall shopping even grocery shopping...mini work outs.

I was a little scared by the looks of this shoes but, when worn, it looks surprisingly good. Something worthy of an anime character, maybe. Looks good with skinny jeans. They do feel a tad bigger than marked so that if you are walking real fast they tend to slip out in the back but not so for normal walking. I had read that you should not drive with them on and have not tried that as I normally drive barefoot anyway but had also read to not wear on wet surfaces and I have used them on rainy and snowy days with no problems. Initially they are strange to wear but you will get used to them after a few times. I find that standing on them is more difficult than walking. Do they do everything that they claim to do? I'm not sure as I was in good shape before getting the shoes but I can tell that they are very gentle on my bad knee, and they do feel like you are walking on clouds. I am, sometimes, 8 hours on my feet, and these are perfect shoes for that.

Based on the others’ review, I first ordered the half size bigger. Because my feet are a bit wider and Skechers only has standard width, the half size bigger did not work for me. I ended up getting the one which was a full size bigger. I have a problem in the ball of my left foot. These shoes reduce pressure there and my foot is recovering quicker than before having them. Regarding Zappos, they have a great service you do not find anywhere else and you don’t have to pay additional while you are searching for the right size. I have been recommending Zappos to all of my friends!

These shoes are adorable but take some getting used to. My shins/calves were burning after 10 minutes on the treadmill. Definitely order a 1/2 size larger than your regular size.

I’ve had these shoes for 1 week, and I can honestly say that I am impressed. It took a day or 2 to get used to them, but now I love wearing them and I will be buying another pair - probably the mary janes. I am 38 yrs old, 5 feet tall, and weigh around 100 lbs. Looking at me, most people would say I am in good shape. I thought I was in good shape, but these shoes have already improved my 38 year old butt and the backs of my thighs. I am very happy that there is some truth to the advertising. I debated between the Shape Ups and MBTs, but decided to go with the Sketchers. I’m glad I did.

I did not have to buy a size bigger but I have a narrow foot. I really like this shoe. I have lots of foot issues and I can go on my two mile walk without pain. Good thing!

Amazing Shoe - I bought these shoes in October 2009 & I must say these are the best shoes in the world. My back no longer hurts and my posture is awesome, my stomach is flat and my legs and butt are firm. You can wear these shoes all day and your feet will not bother. These shoes are amazing.
