First, my review of Zappos. I really don't want to buy shoes online from anyone else. Zappos shipping is phenomenal! Ordered the shoes on a Saturday evening, had the shoes by Monday! Second, the shoes, I love them! I haven't really noticed any weight loss wearing them, but I don't usually walk around too much. I've only had them a few weeks, but have noticed some toning in my legs and gluts. The best thing about these Shape Ups is the comfort! I have diabetic neuropathy and have a hard time standing or walking too far. These sure help a lot for my legs and feet not to hurt after a day doing errands and grocery shopping. I do wear them practically every place I go! They're like walking on air!I actually think the shoes helped me from a more severe injury! One night not long ago, we had a tornado warning in our city. I had these on and headed for shelter. I had to go outside into the dark, windy, rain blowing sideways kind of night. I slipped off the edge of the sidewalk and fell. I did fracture a part of my foot, but didn't break it completely. I think if I'd have had on a different type of shoe, I'd have broken my foot really bad. The thick protective sole saved me, I think! I know there's not actual proof of this, but I believe it!

I love my Sketcher Shape Ups Metabolize. They are so comfortable for walking. I walk with a group 5 days a week and we walk 3 miles. It is like walking on air. Love them! Love them!

These shoes feel very odd when you first put them on. I felt like I had to find a new balance point. It only took a few minuets, though. They do seem to work your legs. I would caution weaing them too long to start. My legs got tired the first few times I wore them. They fit well and that is not a easy thing for me, because I have very wide feet and an old injury on my foot that makes a lot of shoes uncomfortable. These fits perfectly right out of the box. If I had any complaint, it would be that the back of the heel could be a little higher. My heels sometimes feel like they slip if I do not lace them well.

I was worried that there would be a break in period for these shoes, but not so. Right out of the box, they were really comfortable. I did order my usual size which was fine for me, but you might consider a half size larger if you have long toes. The arch fits in the right spot, but I have short toes and the toe length is just right. I wouldn’t say they are the most attractive style because they are chunky compared to most shoes I wear… but I used these shoes the first day I got them on the treadmill and was happy to find they felt great. The shoes hug every part of your foot in a very supportive way. You feel almost like you are getting a massage. I wore these all day, and did feel a bit of tightness in my gluts the next morning, so I’m sure they are doing their job. I’m just sorry I can’t wear them to work.

If you are on your feet a lot these shoes are awesome. I have heel spurs and am not bothered by them when wearing these shoes! I bought a pair for my niece who works at a UPS store. She no longer has foot pain after working all day.

I love these sneakers. I was very skeptical at first, but a friend suggested I try them. They are very comfortable and have a really good arch support. I find they make me stand up straighter. My posture is definitely improved. I would suggest these shoes to everyone!

Brought a size 10 EW. These are comfortable and do not feel like there is a tennis ball stuck in my shoe. I am a heavy person so I find it hard to find shoes that offer cushion and fit my big, thick, wide feet. You can see the wideness of my feet when the shoe is tied... although, I don’t care about that and NOBODY has ever said anything about it. I can run in them and I do have balance. They do take some getting used to, especially with stairs. However, they offer excellent traction. If you sit too long, your feet might fall asleep because your legs are slightly raised (due to the shoe, itself). The shoes are meant for walking not sitting all day.

I bought these because they were so comfortable , I did buy a 1/2 size larger than normal. Would recommend this product.

At first I was somewhat skeptical of the reviews. I purchased a pair on Monday, and I think they were on the truck to my home before I signed off of Zappos. They have the fastest delivery service of anyone! I put the shoes on and started to walk around. All I could think was "WOW". All pain in my feet and knees disappeared. I wore them several hours before going to bed. I work out every day, so for me there really was no break-in. I immediately put them on again when I got out of bed. I need both knees replaced and hoping these will help delay the surgeries. Signed on to Zappos on Wednesday AM and ordered three more pairs. I am a regular women’s size 10m, but I checked out the men’s shoes also. I wear a men’s 8.5. They fit almost identical, but the men have a variety of colors to die for. I have taken every pair of shoes I own and shoved them into the back of my closet. Several years ago I tried the MBT shoes and after an hour my back hurt so bad I couldn’t move. I continued to try them an additional two days and sent them back. Zappos also gets 5 STARS for their service and patience. I’ve returned several pairs of shoes throughout the years, but my purchases have far outnumbered the returns. I won’t buy from anyone else.

I love my shoes! I have worn them every day since I got them to work and at home I feel odd when I don’t have them on. I walk a lot at work and I have lost weight by wearing them without trying. Getting ready to buy my second pair. I just wish the price would come down some now that other companies are making them, too and for cheaper, but I don’t like how they look. I know people that have them.

These shoes are the best. I am in need of bunion surgery and have had so much pain lately. I bought these shoes at the recommendation of my husband who is an Orthopedic Surgeon. When I wear them, I have NO pain. I still will need surgery, but for now I wear my Shape Ups everywhere! One word of caution. When you first start wearing them - follow the instructions. These really work your leg muscles. The manufacturer recommends you start with an hour or so a day and increase your time each day. I had horrible leg cramps the first few nights, but now my muscles are much tighter! You will love them!

I cannot say enough about Zappos. I recently ordered the Sketchers Shape Ups. The next day, when I got home from work, as usual, they were on my front porch. Zappos has AMAZING shipping service. That same night I headed to the mall for my usual walk. They took a little getting used to but not long. I really like them. Now I wear them as much as I can. I try to walk at least 2 miles a day and these shoes make it fun. They are very comfy and I feel like I am holding my body straighter when I walk in them. Sketchers advertises that the Shape Ups promote weight lose. I can tell you that I have lost weight, however, I cannot say it is because of the shoes, BUT because of the shoes, I walk more and walking promotes weight loss. So if that is what they mean by promoting weight loss, then for me it is working. I would recommend these shoes. And if you get them from Zappos and do not like them, then you can just return them. I will NOT be returning mine, it was money well spent for me.

I am a diabetic, and I bought these shoes hoping to help with the pain in my feet. I wore them the first week and couldn't believe how much more comfortable they were. They are like walking on a cloud...I don't think I will ever wear regular sneakers again...

This is my 3rd pair of SKECHERS Shape Ups- Metabolize, so it's a fair guess that I really like them. These shoes are fabulous for anybody who stands for long periods of time. Even though these shoes lessen the overall fatigue of my legs (and back), because you sort of have to "balance" yourself, the leg muscles are constantly engaged. I can feel my calves and thighs getting worked. I don't go to work without these shoes and everyone else I know that wears them, feels the same way. And as always, of course, Zappos had my shoes to me in 24 hours! You can't beat these shoes AND you can't beat Zappos!

These shoes are the BEST. I have never had shoes I love more. I have a sore hip and work 12 hours a day and now I go home without dying from hip pain. They are DEFINITELY worth the money...You will love them. Great seller too.

I have always wanted to try these shoes and now I won't be without them. Let me explain a bit of my history. I have a very weak back due to an injury and also my job.I have been to PT, chiropractors, and massage therapist. Each person has said I am very tight and need to stretch out. I have never been able to touch my toes in my life.Now I am within a couple inches of accomplishing that, and I have only worn these about 3 weeks now. The first days were rough. Don't give up, it does get better and your body will adjust. My lower back felt it..my hips felt it. Even the back of my ankles hurt. Now I realize that was helping to stretch out that muscle so I can bend over and can almost touch my toes now. I bought this black pair for work shoes and WILL be purchasing a pair for everyday. I tell everyone about them.They are costly but well worth it in my life.

I was in a car accident and now am on pain medication. It was not working for me. Constant knee and back pain was awful. I bought these one week ago, and what a difference. Wished I had bought them sooner. They feel so good on; I wear them everyday no matter what I'm wearing. I'm used to 3 to 4 inch heels. I'm not in much pain as was before. They work excellent with my knee joint and back pain. I'm happy!

These shoes were true to size and nice and wide, but not too wide. They take a bit to get used to, but do give you a nice work out. I am an avid power-walker, have been for many years. These shoes are VERY comfortable to walk in. Excellent arch support. Very cushy! I didn't think I needed to watch the DVD that comes with it to show me how to walk, but I watched it anyway and was glad I did. Good information and pointers. The solid black are my favorite. They do look nice on and make your foot look smaller.

I found this shoe significantly shorter than normal for size. Otherwise I like the fit and I have ordered a larger size.

These shoes are great. Took all the pressure off of my heels. Works your legs like crazy.

Love these shoes. I work retail and these shoes are great. I've worn Earth shoes so the only time it took getting used to them was when I went down a flight of stairs. I had to go one half size larger than my regular size but Zappos had the larger size out PDQ. Thanks Zappos.

The best shoes ever !!! I'm a huge Skechers fan in general, all my athletic shoes are Skechers. This shoe is unbelievable and incomparable in comfort and arch support to all my other shoes. Just visited my podiatrist this week and first thing she said was a great choice of shoe. I'm an event designer, standing, walking, climbing, all day long, no rest for my feet . This shoe has solved my pain issues . Love it, highly recommend it, just ordered a different shape up pair in black

Finally, no more knee pain! I am completely pain free for the first time in years. I am going to call my surgeon. Everyone who has has knee surgery should at least try these shoes. I can't wait to put them on at the end of the day. Sometimes I even wear them in public, even though they are ugly and my daughters have banned me from it. Yep, that's how good they are. I did get a half size larger.
