These were very comfortable shoes. I do not know if they are really is effective in toning your muscles and all that, I am still a skeptic, but I walked the entire day museum hopping in Chicago and my legs and feet did not feel sore! They were very springy, comfortable shoes. I am usually a 5, but I usually ordered a 6 for sneakers to make space for the thicker sports socks I have. It is a snug fit that is just right. The package includes an instructional CD and steps in breaking into these toning shoes, but I never used it. Maybe I am fitter than I thought I was? I do not care much for the style, though. The obvious boat-shaped bottom is not really my thing.

Very comfortable! These shoes take a little "getting used to" but they are very comfortable for nice, long walks.

I ordered my first pair through a TV shopping network. I paid a lot more for them. I should have tried Zappos first. I bought my second white pair for less. These shoes make me want to walk longer and faster. I ordered a 1/2 size less and they feel great. If rubbing occurs on the back of the heel, then they are too big. After wearing for 3 months every day I noticed much more toned legs. It was very obvious that these shoes do what they say. I highly recommend them!

About 8 months ago, a friend told me about Zappos.com. I was looking for the new Skechers Shape-Ups. I usually hate doing mail order because if the size is wrong, it winds up costing even more to send the stuff back. Not with Zappos. They were great, I ordered and 2 days later I had my Skechers. I have a lot of problems with my feet and sizing is always an issue, I also had 2 knee replacements and need cushion. They were perfect and the most comfortable shoes I own. I ordered another pair a few months ago and Zappos was right on top of it when I had a problem with them. They sent me another pair within days and I sent the other pair back for free. Zappos has great customer service. I tell everyone about them, and the Skechers are well worth the money and a much better deal through Zappos than at the mall.

Fantastic feeling, but be sure to obey the instructions to break them in!!

These are awesome! I have suffered from hip pain for a year now and after one month of wearing these to walk instead of regular tennis shoes, the pain is gone and has not returned!

Zappos is an excellent company! I ordered the 1st pair of Shape Ups - too big. Requested a return and ordered the 2nd pair. The return was fast, and Zappos upgraded my shipping and I received the nest day. Zappos price was cheaper than anyone. How great is that?! Would highly recommend to others and I love the Shape Ups! Where do I start? I loved these shoes so much, that I purchased 2! The very first time I wore them for a 1/2 hour walk, I noticed my lower back felt absolutely no pain or strain...none...nil...zilch. It was as if my lower back was non-existent! Amazing! I recently returned from a 4 day trip, where I pretty much wore only these shoes. I was on my feet most of the time. What I noticed was that my feet didn't hurt the entire time...not while walking, not while standing, not when I took my shoes off! Nor did my lower back hurt while I was standing around. Usually I have to find a place to sit after a short period of time. Once again, amazing! Having grown a pair of wide feet, I was happy to see this shoe had a wide option. Two helpful hints: 1) pick up your feet (in the beginning), 2) walk with caution in the house the first time, as your body needs time to recognize all the rolling motion. If not careful, your ankles may try to twist. So take your time and walk consciously. Benefits for me: 1) increased stability on my feet, 2) muscle tone! I am so surprised how quickly my muscle tone increased! Love these shoes so much. I've turned my husband on to a couple of pairs! Thank you Skechers!

I really love these shoes. They are very comfortable but went up one size. Everyone ask where I bought the tan color, so much better than white. Great after a fractured ankle. Zappos is so great to work with.

Zappo\'s Rocks! This is the 4th time I have ordered using zappos. Since we can\'t try on the shoes before taking them home, we had to send back both pairs. Zappos was so accommodating. They sent the new pair with postage paid labels to send the other pair back! And the customer service to accomplish that was over the top. \r\n\r\nWe live in a rural Minnesota town. My mom wears New Balance. New Balance has disappeared from retail stores we normally shop in. Did a web search online and discovered Zappos has the style, color and narrow size she needs. Thanks Zappos for carrying products that aren\'t readily available in rural areas.

Very comfortable shoes! They seem to improve your posture as soon as you get moving. Great shoes!

These shoes do work your glutes and abdomen and legs in general. I can feel the burn while wearing them.

I have short, wide feet and it is very difficult for me to purchase shoes that fit my feet comfortably as most companies offer wide shoes in longer sizes. To compound the problem I had broken a bone in my left foot two years ago and have had foot pain ever since. Also, both of my knees hurt so much it pained me to walk. Then I read a positive review about the Skechers Shape-ups. After researching all the available styles I purchased Shape Ups - Metabolize because they come in my size and in wide. I love them, and have ordered a second pair. My foot and knee pain has eased by 95%. I never experienced any leg muscle pain after wearing them for an extended amount of time. They are the only shoes I wear, I threw all of my New Balance shoes away. The biggest draw back with this shoe is the soles grip the floor and I can't dance in them! Shape Up-Metabolize shoes has enabled me to renew an active life style again!

Excellent! Beautiful, comfortable. I give them a 10! In addition, wearing while I work has decreased my sciatica! Thank you, Zappos.

These were the second pair of Shape-Ups I bought. The Metabolize white leather shoes are really nice. They are very comfortable, supportive, padded. I am recovering from a foot injury and they are some of the only shoes that do not hurt just to wear, let alone walk. They provide as much or more cushioning than my special foam boot from the Drs office. I don\'t mind the chunky look and they are cute with jeans. I highly recommend these shoes. The slightly lighter, mesh and leather Fitness Junkie style is very similar and just as nice.

I love these shoes! I walk my dogs for an hour before I run and these shoes have helped me in my warm-up by stretching out my leg muscles before my daily run. No more aches and pains, seriously.

Wow...what can I say? First Zappos is awesome! I had my shoes in less than 24 hours! I went back to work as a teacher's aide this week and my feet, knees, and all the other parts that normally ache, feel great! I am planning on ordering another pair in a different color soon. Let the flip flop generation snicker at my shoes! I feel great!

I have severe back problems. Prior to wearing these, I had to use Orthotics in my sneakers. I no longer need them. My back pain is less and I can walk so much further. These are wonderful shoes. I am about to buy another pair. I even have washed in washer and air dry them. They come out like new...with just a bit of spot cleaning. Need to buy whole size larger than what I usually wear.

I normally have trouble finding a shoe that I do not have to "break in". However, I never had to with these shoes. I have 2 pairs in different colors. I love them!

I am thrilled with my new Skechers Shape Ups. I have been wearing them for about a month now. The first day took some getting used to so I wore them just around the house. Now I wear them to the grocery store and wear them to work out in. I recommend these shoes, you will notice an improvement in your posture the moment you try them on. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have joint issues in my feet, knees, and hips and these shoes give me no problems at all. I have not been able to walk on my treadmill because with regular sneakers, I experienced too much joint pain. With my Skechers, I am able to walk on the treadmill, I started with ten minutes and now I am up to a half hour with no ill effects. I did have to get the wide version for my feet and they fit beautifully. I highly recommend these shoes and of course, purchasing them at Zappos was easy and delivery was fast!

I just love this shoe. The color is fabulous, the fit is amazing. My feet feel like they are supported in a cloud. I would by another pair in a second. I also wanted to mention that I originally ordered this shoe from another online site and I accidentally ordered the wrong size. When I realized my error I called to let the other company know that I made a mistake prior to my shoes actually arriving at my doorstep. They were very nice and told me that I could just use the smart label inside the box to return them parcel post. However, with that said I knew that I would have to wait at least 2 weeks to receive my shoes. I went searching and checked Zappos. Not only were the shoes on sale but I wanted expedited delivery and Zappos only charged me $7.00. I ordered the shoes and within an hour my order was in the warehouse ready to ship that day. Not only did I get my shoes in two business days I saved because the other company charged me more for expedited shipping and more for the shoes. This is my first purchase from Zappos and I can tell you it will not be my last. I love the quick service and I love not having to break the bank to get the product to my house. Love these shoes! This is my 3rd pair of Shape Ups & certainly will not be my last! I have knee problems and with these, I am able to exercise much easier, it takes the weight off of my joints and I can feel the effects working immediately! I even bought the Tone Ups which are just as wonderful for the summer. Thanks so much to Zappos & Skechers for offering such great shoes at very reasonable prices!

I purchased the Skechers Shape Up a couple of weeks ago and I really like them. At first my legs were a little tired when I wore them but now I am used to them. I also have the more expensive MBT\'s and I cannot tell any difference between them. I am very happy with these shoes. And as always, dealing with Zappos is always a great pleasure they are customer service experts and them some!

I love my Skechers Shape Ups! These shoes not only help work your muscles as you walk, but it has helped me walk more after a knee injury. These shoes are incredible! I have been wearing Skechers since they first came out and they are the only athletic footwear I own. They fit perfectly and I have a bit of a wide foot but don't need the wide width. I find these shoes as comfortable as the Skechers Shape-up sandals I have. I have been wearing the sandals more -- saving these for the colder weather. I thought I'd "break these in" running around the house etc., but surprise: They already arrive "broken in" it seems! Super-comfortable! And by the way: I am getting compliments on my butt and legs -- I have lost inches and definitely increased muscle tone. The Shape Ups are winners!
