I ordered these shoes for my husband, who is diabetic and has major problems with his feet. The only other shoes he's been able to wear were white New Balance sneakers. We took a chance and ordered these hoping for a less casual "sneaker" look. With the black color, he can wear these to work and says his feet have never felt so good! Wish they came in brown!

I am wearing my second pair of NB927. My podiatrist said these were the only shoes for me. I wear them with orthotics. I have plantar fasciitis and other painful foot problems; and was barely ambulatory when I first visited the podiatrist. The podiatrist's other advice was to purchase the men's 927 if I could find one narrow enough. (I am female.) So, I am wearing the NB 927 and doing great. No, I don't like the look of a clunky man's shoe; however, I love walking and having minimal pain!

One of the best NB walking shoes I have owned. I have an artificial ankle that doesn't like many shoes, even cheaper NB shoes. This one does, and I'm going to buy another color.

Over the years, I've been through numerous pairs of quality walking shoes, and the 927 is the best yet. I'm on my feet all day and these shoes make walking a joy. In the past, it seems that shoes with wide toe boxes have had exceedingly wide heels which have caused my heel to slip with every step. Not these. The 927 allows my forefoot to spread naturally while holding my heel comfortably secure. They're not going to win any awards for style, but once I experienced the unsurpassed comfort and performance, it didn't matter. Combine the 927 with Zappos' legendary service, and it just doesn't get any better.

As a first time customer I was very pleased with the shipping time and quality of the product. I have other New Balance shoes that don't fit as well as these and I found that I could wear them all day the first day with no problems. My next shoe purchase will be from Zappos.

Kind of frumpy looking, but cradles my feet. Comfortable, makes walking more enjoyable.

The fit is good and they are very comfortable. I wish they had other colors besides white in my size.

I walk two miles five times a week, and my feet have been bothering me for the past few months. I suspected it was my shoes so I thought I'd try these NB walkers. After a couple of weeks my feet do not hurt at all. Problem solved. These are great shoes for walking and the most comfortable of any I've tried.

The New Balance MW927 is a great shoe. Very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and the shoes greatly help with the problem. I use my own shoe inserts.

I need an extra wide shoe. I have purchased three pairs of these because they fit and are very comfortable. Glad I found Zappos. Shipping was very quick. Hope they keep handling this shoe.

When we first tried to order the shoes, Zappos did not have them in stock. They notified us the moment the shoes became available. I ordered them and had them two days later. I cannot say enough about the great service I have received from Zappos

My 2nd purchase of same shoe. Job requires lots of standing & walking. Shoes are very comfortable. Definitely for narrow heels fit as described.

I wear this shoe in a work environment where "sneakers" are not allowed. I have bad feet and wear orthotics all the time. I'm still getting used to the difference between this style and a more classic NB 574 shoe, but I can wear this shoe and comply with the "no sneakers" rule and at the same time be quite comfortable. When this pair wears out, I'll be sure to order another. The size indications folks want are fine. I pull the insert and use my orthotics instead. So, that's the only thing upon which I cannot really comment.

What a great shoe, felt a little tight (width) at first but now feels good. Does not look like a sneaker. Most likely will buy another pair. 9 on width at first but stretches out nicely after wearing it for a while. Does not look like a sneaker.

I've never used Zappos before this -- and now I'm hooked. The product was one hard to find, yet they had it in stock, and it was in perfect condition. And I was completely blown away by the service. I needed these shoes fast, so I chose overnight delivery. I ordered the shoes at 8:30pm and had them in hand by 10:30am the next morning. Kudos to Zappos, my new favorite online store!

I tired a number of top brand shoes hoping to find all around comfort, particularly a cushioned sole. I could feel the ground in the other shoes, but this show gave me the comfort barrier I was looking for. It is a great waling shoe as well as an every day wear shoe. The only down side is that the outer sole can be a little slippery when walking on wet smooth surfaces. Other times it is not a problem, but when it happens it is disarming.

Great shoes! Excellent arch support and anti-roll element really works. Totally comfortable for my old feet. Great next day delivery. Zappos rocks!

First let me say that Zappos can not be beat. The customer service department is excellent. I have worn these for a while but unfortunately, I find that the 927's wear out faster than their predecessor (926). I walk several miles each day and I tend to wear out a pair about every three months but they are still the most comfortable shoe that I can find.

This is my third pair of NB 927 shoes (both white and black) from Zappos and they are what I wear most of the time. I need orthotics for my peripheral neuropathy and these shoes are comfortable and provide excellent support. As a repeat customer at Zappos I find their service, support, speed of delivery, and ease of ordering to be consistently among the best.

My husband swears by these sneakers and it's the only brand and style he'll wear. Plus, you'd be crazy to buy them from anyone other than Zappos. What a fantastic organization. I'm overwhelmed by the great customer service they have. And free shipping both ways? Simply amazing!

I experience swollen feet and this shoe gives me the width and flexibility I need for comfortable walking.

Since my husband was having some trouble with his feet, he was looking for a tennis-type walking shoe to wear in a dark color that would look more appropriate for his workplace than his white NB pair of 845s. The absence of mesh in the 927 model makes these look even more like a work shoe. Plus he got the fit and support out of the shoe he was hoping for. And Zappos got them to us in only one day!

Got wide feet? Get these! I use them for work (residental remodel-carpinter) and love'em. I break them down a bit quick but keep buying them. Believe this is my 4th pair.
