Overall a very comfortable shoe with one exception. My right ankle rubs against the outer edge of the shoe. I tried a heel insert to no avail. Nice shoe, however, I cannot wear it.

I ordered this pair of shoes for my son who is a medical assistant, after dinner one evening after dinner. Although I paid extra for air freight, the shoes arrived the following morning! My son loves the shoes (he likes all New Balance, how could I miss?) and the service was superb! Thanks!

Craftsmanship of the shoe is well worth the price. I just hope NB continues to offer this kind of quality. I prefer paying a little more and have good looking comfortable shoes for a long time. I will buy another pair when these are no longer useful and that might be some time from today. Thanks New Balance!

I have nearly 30 pairs of NB and these are among my very favorites. Lots of comfort and you can wear them all day. I bought three pairs from Zappos and the service was 5 stars as always. Zappos is the best!

First, I give Zappos 5 stars. This company allowed me to return products until I found one that was nearly perfect. No stock shoe will ever be perfect for my foot because I have foot issues that need to be surgically corrected. But this shoe is so close that a normal shoe stretcher allowed me to make enough modifications to make a perfect fit. I am so pleased with Zappos that I will never buy another shoe in a "normal" shoe store. Thanks Zappos.

This shoes rock, at 6.4 & 380 lb I could never find comfort for my feet with other types including NB. With this puppies I can work/walk/stand for four hours without taking a break with no problem. The 927 are really great.

These are great walking shoes. They are very comfortable, albeit a bit big & clutsy looking, but I was looking for comfort over style.

Got these for my husband after failing at a local running shoe store to find his something comfortable. Before he had just the wide version of these and they were popping where his foot bends. These are just as wide as his popped shoes and we're both happy. He has really high arches too and hasn't complained about of any kind of pain. They are a step away from velcro which makes them frankenstein-esk and he's pretty young for old man shoes but he views them as a miracle.

I have wide feet and it is hard to find a good pair of shoes. These shoes fit perfectly right out of the box. They are very comfortable.

I have been wearing this brand\/model for several years. They can\'t be beat for comfort and foot stability, especially for a big man. The Black model is suitable to wear to work with dark business slacks.

Great shoes! I had plantar fasciitis and I'm on my feet all day, on concrete. I have no pain when I wear these shoes. I will buy nothing else. My wife buys the women's style, too.

I swear by the New Balance shoes and the MW927 is my latest purchase. The support is just what I need with the arthritic knees I have. Somehow they provide much more stability in walking. I have tried other brands but always return to New Balance. New Balance tends to run 1/2 size smaller so take this into consideration.

Great shoes for support. It has a role bar built into the sole of the shoe. Give your feet and ankles great support

Perfect. I took them out of the box, put them on, laced them up, and took a 2-mile walk. They were just as comfortable when I got home as when I first put them on. I take a 14B, which is hard to find, but New Balance makes them. I keep coming back to New Balance every time I need to replace them and I have yet to be disappointed.

My old NB sneakers felt too cramped, they were a wider size than my regular shoe too. They were also white. I'm never getting a white pair of sneakers again. These fit just great. I ordered one size larger and one width up from my regular shoe size. They fit like a glove - maybe it's the shape as well, the heel is nice and snug and the toe area has room for movement like my Dunham Ruggards. I am using these for gardening, remodeling jobs, and similar. In brown (the popular color?) the price at Zappos was similar or a bit higher than other stores, but I may get a black pair elsewhere for less and use those for gardening, and keep these for walking. I think Zappos 2 day air for shoes is a waste of money even if it is free. I would rather have a lower price or a coupon. The search engine on Zappos also isn't quite as good as some other sites. Nevertheless I appreciate the Zappos free shipping both ways.

I've been ordering shoes from Zappos for awhile they have excellent products and service is great.

The 927 runs true to size and the wide width is wonderful. They were a perfect fit right out of the box and required absolutely no break-in. These shoes are a real delight to wear - I will never go back to running shoes!

It's a great shoe. The color is solid, and it is not only a good running shoe, it is also a good everyday shoe.

The shoes are perfect for the wearer with ankle concern and rolling in. The service is superb and I am ordering the gray ones later this month for winter. Also I wear an orthotic in both shoes.

I've had a Morton's neuroma in both feet for over 20 years. I've been managing with orthotics and alcohol schlerosing shots. There have been many painful years where I've had to think twice about going to the mall or any place where walking is required. In the past 9 months, I've bought 2 pairs of the 927's and haven't had any pain. The SL2 last is shaped more like my foot that the SL1. It gives my forefoot plenty or room and takes pressure off. I haven't been able to return to active running, but I do a lot of walking now. These are the best shoes I've encountered to help manage my neuroma, although I still wear prescription orthotics. Anyone with neuroma pain should look at the shoes they are wearing before trying more drastic measures.

My husband has extremely wide feet so I was reluctant to mail order. We could not have been happier with the shoes from Zappos. Quality, correctness in processing the order and delivered in a very timely manner. Will order again.
