These shoes are cute. I could not love them more from a styling standpoint, but, beware, although I've been wearing Merrell hiking shoes and boots for years, these gave me really bad blisters on my left pinky toe and side of my left foot. They hurt a little in that same area on my right foot, but no blisters formed on my right foot. I'm waiting for the blisters to fully heal before I try these again, but I hope they just needed breaking in and I won't get any more blisters because I really love the styling! This won't turn me off the Merrell brand, though. I've always gotten a lot of durability and great styling in general from Merrell products, both clothing and shoes.

I don't rock, but I can write a review. The shoe is pretty comfortable, I am settling because its really difficult for me to find a shoe that isn't uncomfortablee I am not a fan of close shoes but of the fifteen or so I tried recently this and one by Earth was comfortable pretty much . I don't like the color but it was available and I am deperate. Will keep trying for smaller profile and less shoe, more comfort.

After hearing so many recommendations for Merrell shoes during my travels, I decided to check them out. Living in the Pacific Northwest, wearing polar fleece, hiking boots, etc. is accepted and worn by everyone all over. Wanting something of a light hiker/everyday wear, I purchased the regular Siren Sport (for the warmer summer) as well as the waterproof Gore-Tex versions (for other seasons). I purchased my regular size, and it fit perfectly and I have fairly wide and fat feet. I don't have to order special wide sized shoes, have normal sized heels, and do not have any foot issues or wear orthotics. So maybe my view of the shoe might be different. I like the elephant/pink/brown colors and love how it's so lightweight! When everyone told me how comfortable and well cushioned the shoes were, I expected more padding (especially when the Gore-Tex was padded more)...but the shoes are still comfortable. I like how my feet could breathe in the shoes but was shocked to see that my thin red socks (as well as other colors) could be seen through the side mesh portion of the shoes! Oops...oh well, it's very minor. I also wished the gray color was darker and actually gray, as it also looks fairly khaki colored depending on the light. I was afraid of how to many people the shoes fell apart from anywhere between 6 months to 2 years after wearing them daily (I'm used to wearing shoes for at least 3 years), but was assured by Merrell that those fears were from uncommon issues and those I described (rubber separations, plastic lace eyes popping off, etc) are covered under manufacturers warranty. I have a feeling that these won't be my last pair of Siren Sports and can see how these are one of the major bestsellers for Merrell.

Loved them from day one. Very comfy. Good support for walking all day in them. Haven't tried them hiking yet though.

I wanted to love this shoe, but the tongue was uncomfortable. I did not want to move forward and assume that it somehow would become more comfortable for me. The cushioning and comfort in the forefoot was just so-so for me. I have had surgery to remove my bipartite sesamoid bone (in the forefoot), so I am particularly sensitive in this area. The width was fine for my bunion-prone feet.

I love Merrells, especially the Siren Sports. These are great casual shoes as well as hiking shoes. Very, very durable and lasts forever. True sizing and don't need to be broken in, however they have poor (as in zero) arch support. Good for light to moderate walking, but if you're going to spend all day or more on your feet, these need better insoles.

Yes I ordered a D width but the heel was very wide. Not everyone with wide feet is obese! And, the inside of the shoe was hard and bumpy. Not that comfortable.

I ordered the Merrell Siren Sport as treadmill shoes. I ordered wide and they are a tad narrow for me, but not too bad. It's just that sometimes I can feel the edges of the foot pad insert while walking. Don't know why people say they're not attractive, I like them!

I bought one pair for myself and one for my mother. I had to return mine, however. The left foot, perfect! Super comfortable shoe, as others have noted. However, I have some foot issues and my right foot could not get comfy in this shoe! There is a padded bump in the arch that hit the side of my foot (the outer) uncomfortably. My mom noticed this in her pair as well, but not until after wearing it awhile. So I had to return and so disappointed, as I'm a huge Merrell fan. Thanks!

I love the way they look, and how lightweight they are, but I wish they were more comfortable. They seem to aggravate my plantar fasciatis. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Australia, and after trying them out at home for a couple of weeks I think I'll just bring my old running sneakers instead.

I really like the look of this shoe and I've gotten lots of compliments on them. They accomodate my orthotics just fine. They feel a little bit big, but then I purposely bought a wider size. As with all Merrell products, this shoe is well-made and I'll probably be able to wear it for years.

These looked very nice but seemed very short. The arch didn't hit my foot in the proper place. I tried a different arch support in the bottom which fixed that problem. I ordered these to replace a size 10 Timberland hiking shoe as they've become too short. Holding the Merrell's next to the Timberland's - the 10.5 Merrell's even look much shorter than the 10 Timberland's!

Shoe was uncomfortable at first but then loosened up. The toe looses shape-indenting.

I bought these a few weeks ago because I was looking for a comfortable shoe with good arch support, to help with my recent bout of plantar fasciitis. They are very comfortable, but I must say that I, too, notice the tightness in the stitching that runs across the base of the toe area. It's not so bad that I felt the need to return them, but I definitely can't put my Sole inserts in them, which is what is really helping my plantar fasciitis. I'm deducting one star for the tightness that others have noticed, as well. It's not that the shoe is narrow - it's that the stitching over the top of the toes is a little too tight. I know that sounds like a contradiction, but I'm not so sure the shoe would fit properly if it were wider. Otherwise, a very comfortable, sturdy shoe.

These are very comfortable, nice looking shoes. They are lacking a little bit of arch support, and the laces won't stay tied unless you double knot them, but these are more minor inconveniences. My feet don't have much depth, and these fit nicely with a light hiking sock. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with them. Sizing is pretty accurate. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal to accomodate a wool sock.

Extremely light weight and comfortable on the first wearing. The low lace is a little awkward, but really helps get the right fit. For hiking shoes, these are pretty nice looking and even feminine, but the materials are tough and definitely trail-worthy. I wear a 9-9.5 (I sometimes need the length as I have a slightly wider foot) and have very high arches and had no comfort issues with these.

Seriously the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have a wide foot and they are a bit snug in the toe but not uncomfortable and I think they will loosen nicely.

Everything about this shoe is wonderful except a little tightness towards the toe that often causes my little toe and part of my foot to go numb. I'm hoping it will be stretched in time. I've had them for a couple months and worn them pretty frequently and the problem has persisted. I saw that this is actually a semi-common problem based on some other reviews. Besides that, I really like the shoe...it's cute and it's comfortable in all other areas.

These took a little getting used to. (I normally wear Earth shoes.) I got a half size larger than usual. The size was fine, lots of toe room, etc. But the foot pad wasn't as soft as I like. I experimented with different shoe liners until I found one that was cushy enough and now they're my go-to shoes for everyday. They're really cute, by the way - look like a short hiking boot.

I had to return them because of that seam over the pinky toe that some other reviewers mentioned. My feet are a little on the wide side although I don't have to wear a wide shoe, maybe that's why it bothers some people and not others. There is definitely a seam there right over the pinky toe in any case. Disappointing because the shoe is really nice looking and of course, well made.

Although I was very excited when I first put these shoes on, it turned out that there was a very hard internal seam that rubbed against my little toes. These shoes need more padding, or they need to flatten the seams so they are not sticking out against your toes. I had to return them.

I ordered a 1/2 size up to accommodate socks. Fits well, looks good. The color and design elements do make big feet look smaller. Yay!
