Comfy Shoes - I bought these to deal with the snowy/wet winters in North Idaho. I love having Gore-Tex in my shoes! Additionally, these shoes are very comfy to wear at work and around the house. They feel better than the Nike running shoes I'm used to wearing. My original pair popped an air compartment after only a couple of months, but Zappos replaced them no questions asked. I even accidentally forgot to return the box the shoes came in and that was not a problem.

Good Shoe - The reviews I read were mostly accurate which helped me in deciding to buy these shoes. The size is about a 1/2 size smaller than my normal size, which one review mentioned. They are indeed comfortable from the moment you slip your foot in. With most shoes I have a heal slippage problem but NOT with these. I like the firmness level of the sole. When you twist the shoe it offers some resistance somewhere between a firm running shoe and a hiking boot. This is what I want for the multi-purpose uses I put the shoe to throughout the week including walking, day hiking, up and down ladders at work, etc. I prefer the GORE-TEX version of this model so I am not concerned about slightly wet conditions ever. The tread design is sort of an all-season design which works for in the hills or in town.

Does what it claims - I guess you can't ask much more of a product than that. It's met my expectations so far. I've worn it for a few weeks now, and it has seen snow, rain, mud and even some dry ground, and has performed as advertised in all cases.

Can't go wrong with Merrells! These are my 4th pair of Merrells, Merrells are the most comfortable shoes I have worn. They do run small so I have learned to buy a 1/2 size up. These Moabs are nice looking hiking / sneaker type of shoe with Gore-Tex protection. Merrells tend to cost more but as they say, you get what you pay for!!

Merrell's Moab GORE-TEX XCR - My first Merrell's and they are great. I have used them for hiking and casual walking around. Good fit and feel, excellent for just about any use.

Great Shoe! Please keep selling forever - This shoe is perfect for those who lead and active lifestyle. Very comfortable and waterproof is a big plus, not too hot in the summer time, but not too much of a winter shoe. Great spring summer and fall outdoor hiking and walking shoe.

Very pleased. First time order from Zappos. Shoes arrived quickly. No break in time with shoes. Felt comfortable from the first time I put them on. Also amazed at how warm my feet stay in them while walking my dog in Minnesota temperatures.

Great shoes - Bought these shoes for the hike in the smoky mountains, kept my feet dry and comfortable. Walked over 10 miles a day going up and down the mountain and came home with no blisters on my feet.

Great shoe - I was looking for a good, water-proof shoe for everyday use. I order this shoe as well as the Keen Targhee II. I intended to choose one and send the other back, but liked them both so much that I kept both. Both shoes run a little small. I usually wear and ten or maybe ten and a half, but an eleven fit perfect with each of these.

GREASTEST SHOES EVER - These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I recommend these to anyone who enjoys comfort, and reliability of a shoe. I have owned Nike, Adidas, Timberlands, etc... Merrells are a very dependable shoe.

Merrell Moab GORE-TEX® XCR® Review - These shoes run on the small side, as noted in most of the reviews. Other than that, the shoes fit extremely well right out of the box. Wore them in a plant environment the next day after receiving them and they were great --- no break-in period required. The shoes have excellent arch support and traction with the vibram soles. The only negative item I would point out is that the shoe laces come untied too easily, even when double knotted. Will most likely change laces, though, to eliminate this condition.

Great shoe - This is my 3rd pair. I wear them all the time and I wear the soles down to nothing. I'll keep buying them as long as they are made.

Great Pair of Shoes - These Moabs are one of the best pair of shoes that I have ever owned. Extremely comfortable, no break in was necessary. I would definitely buy more Merrell shoes.

Amazing - Ordered the shoes for my son for Christmas, He really likes them, thought maybe they were a little narrow, but is hoping they will be fine. Ordered one afternoon and they were at my doorstep the next day!!! Thank You!!

Good shoe for winter... I live in Montana, and wanted something that was waterproof and had a good grip for those minimum snow days. I was putting on ranch boots every time. These are perfect to slip on fast and go. The GORE-TEX keeps my feet dry and the tread grips great. I have always liked Merrells...but make sure you get the right size...I have to get a half size larger than other lite hiking/cross training shoes.

One GREAT shoe - I would recommend this shoe to anyone. It looks great, walks well, and its performance exceeded every one of my expectations!

Great practical shoe - I went to a shoe store and tried on probably a dozen shoes. I have a wide foot and high arch so most shoes do not work for me. This shoe has a wide instep and the lacing is easily adjustable. It is necessary to tie a double knot bow or the shoes come untied, which is a bit of a nuisance.

Great Shoe - This is a great shoe. It provides support and comfort. I like the toe box as it provides ample room where in my toes do not feel cramped.

Found: an everyday GORE-TEX shoe that actually fits - I have been wanting some sort of everyday semi-athletic shoe for quite some time. I had been to numerous stores trying on all kinds of brands. Typically I wear a mens 13 but most really are too narrow. I tried a few different Merrell shoes on at a hiking store but my wife did not like the looks of them at the time. We saw these at a large sporting goods store but they only went to size 13, I tried it and they were too tight, almost just bought them anyways, and thought they might stretch. Tried others but not much luck, either did not fit or I did not love them. Anyways, I decided to come here to Zappos and low and behold they show a 13 wide. Never the less I ordered them and received them super quick. The shoe is great, I do not wear them everyday as I have a different dedicated shoe for work, but the weekends and any after work activities are on the soles of these shoes now. GORE-TEX makes them fantastic as we have been getting snow on and off, no need to go and drag my heavy not as comfortable Wolverine boots out. The service was excellent, I mean really, I ordered these on a Saturday, and they were at my home on Monday. Did not even know you could ship packages on Saturdays. I am a guy with a blue collar job so I am not really in need of many shoes like a white collar male or female would desire. So it may be a while before I order something else from Zappos but I definitely will skip the shoe stores next time and order from you fine folks.

Merrel Moab Gore-Tex XCR - This shoe meets all my expectations. Very comfortable with good support. My orthotics fit well in the shoe. I use this shoe for running in dog agility competitions on dirt and grass which is sometimes very wet.

Favorite merrells so far - I love these merrells I wasn't sure if just because it had a GORE-TEX tag they where going to be waterproof. But they sure are! The first rainy night recently I wasn't paying attention and stepped in a giant puddle, and I thought great now I'm going to have a wet foot for the rest of the night. But that was the thing, the water never made it inside the shoe and my sock never became wet! It was great!!
